I'm not anywhere close to understanding how to change anything (not technology-suave) so need BIG help on getting rid of ad popups when I'm on email account!

I love Firefox and until lately (before I had to replace my old STOLEN laptop with a new one) and using Yahoo... I have been plagued with hundreds of popup ads! Don't like GOOGLE... think they may be BIG BROTHER!

HELP (simple instructions only for an 80 year old)!

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

What a massive waste of my time

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I use your superb browser to surf the web. One of the only sites I am having trouble with is Transport for London, www.tfl.gov.uk.

The thing about this site is, that when I go onto it, it simply freezes almost straight away. I use my wired mouse to try to scroll up or scroll down the site, and I cannot. It is just stuck. There are no scroll bars on the right to be able to click on to go up or down.

I am thinking this problem may have something to do with cookies. I say this, because the site is allright before the message comes onto the screen asking you to agree to cookies.

Is this a possiblity, do you think?

Or is there another possibility? For example, I have visited another forum, and told to increase hardware acceleration. Could this be the answer?

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

Just had firefox throw an error that I was running out of disk space for cookies. Open up the dialog, and was prompted that I had over 17,179,869,184GB of youtube cookies, and 5 GB of cookies for a site I was buying something from. Restarting firefox moved both down to a reasonable 304MB and the store to 207KB. I have never seen this one before.

So for my main gmail I have 2 step for obvious security reasons, but I want it to trust my PC so that I don't have to pull out my phone every time I try to access it. No matter how many times I click the option to trust this PC it always ask' for the 2 step, and I don't see the PC on the trusted list in my gmail settings. I have already added "mail.google.com" to the exceptions part of the cookie and site data settings, even "account.google.com" but it just doesn't seem to work. What is the obvious thing that I am missing?

Several times now when I access my banking site and export data, the exported data is not correct. Sometimes columns are missing or columns are in the wrong order. One time even the display showed missing columns. Another example is when I look up a stock quote, sometimes the numbers from previous days are displayed. Troubleshooting with the site manager we found if I cleared cache and cookies, the problem went away. Everything works for several days, then the problem reappears.

Clearing the cookies is simple enough but then I have to be re-verified on all of the sites that require such and that becomes a real pain. (ie. We are sending you a text, please enter the number to continue)

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge both work fine with this site. Please don't make me switch but I will if this continues.

I've been using the same browser on my desktop computer for like 10 years.

Obviously after one of the updates I couldn't find any of my saved logins/passwords etc. There were a ton of updates over the years but I've never experienced something like this. I can't log in to any website where I had account as all of my data has been wiped out somehow. I just want to say that I'm the only one using this computer, and there is no risk that someone cleared that without my knowledge.

Is there a help for me? This is very frustrating and disappointing.

I have twice come across a glitch on the Firefox version of tumblr. The notifications will remain entirely static, regardless of how many items are in my dash or how many people have interacted with my posts. I am sure this is a Firefox issue as logging onto Google Chrome removes this issue entirely. I have temporarily removed cookies and passwords for tumblr, but the issue has not improved.

I try to setup Firefox so that it is blank in all categories but I still Find Bing under Settings, Private & Security, Manage Data even though I added both http and https://www.bing.com to block status?? I do this so that I can securely and privately connect to my services such as banks, medicare, etc. No Reply Necessary. I always check this when getting ready to connect and remove the cookie. About every month or so Firefox decides to delete my login info and i have to relog everywhere again.

While this is not a critical issue, its a very annoying one.

My cookie settings are on standard, and the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" square is unticked. I use Dashlane for my passwords but ive used it for a long time before on mozilla and other browsers and i've never had issues with it.

When navigating to the New Yorker, an error message appears that says "The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to www.newyorker.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

It looks like firefox is set up to accept cookies. Where do we need to make the change?
