After installing version 103 on my ASUS solid-state laptop, the firefox home screen will not fit on my screen. it will not scroll right to be able to access the help button..

I am unable to see the whole screen and cannot access various tabs or buttons like the download, bookmarks, etc. The firefox screen is too large for my computer. This has occurred since the last update. Can I have the old version back??

After the last update whenever I use the Firefox browser are extremely zoomed in.

Using a viewport checker, its showing for some reason Firefox is displaying my DPR at 1.40. Default settings should usually have it at 1.00

However going into the setting shows everything with Firefox IS set to default (for example zoom is set at 100%, etc)

After trying to find a fix myself I found old Firefox forums suggestions to go into the config and adjust a certain value (the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx) which defaults to -1.0. While adjusting this value to about 0.75 made what appears in the browser window return to normal, the actual parts of the browser (the address bar, tabs etc) were made unreadably small.

I'm having to use Firefox with every single website zoomed out to 70%-80% cause whatever that last update did broke my broswer. Apart from the above fix I tried normal fixes such as clearing cache, doing a "refresh" of Firefox install.

To put it in short: Everything on my screen, when using firefox, from the bottom of the address bar down to the bottom of the screen, is about 40% zoomed in, however none of the settings are shown to have been changed from the default values.

Please help me get me get back to the way I viewed my e-mail messages. Right now the print is oversized and doesn't fix th screen and there is not way of scrolling to see the rest of the message to the right.

With latest update comes Windows' "Make text bigger" accessibility setting now affects all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes.

Can I disable this behavior via about config or any other way? Now top plate consume much more space of screen (I use "Make text bigger" equals to 144%), very disappointed.

    i am sure it's come to firefox's attention that the new upgrade 103. is a bug / problem with making everyones' browser too large..

is there an expected fix" by firefox for this ?.....it really is a bad things...we all need to do business on firefox and it seems that this is a browser ( firefox) killer for a lot of us here..

Since firefox updated in the last few days my browser is not working properly. Every thing is overly large and I can not adjust it. And it keeps flickering and jerking every once in awhile It does not work if there is a drop down list. I can not click on the list.

I opened Firefox today to find everything zoomed in- the toolbar, the websites, everything. It was completely fine last time I used the browser. I have already attempted going to about:config and trying to change the resolution via layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, and it changes nothing. Some help would be appreciated.

my ASUS laptop was automatically updated to Firefox version 103. it now will not fit my screen. i cannot see the right hand portion of the page and cannot find a way to access it.

After update 103.0 was applied, the entire display got bigger. Fonts are larger, display no longer fits on screen, taskbar is larger. Several hours ago, it was fine. I logged out of Firefox, and at next login, the display had changed.

I've checked everything else on the computer and nothing else was affected--only Firefox . Running Windows 10.

I want compact mode back! I had a theme that enabled it, now it's not working. Not only that, enabling compact mode in config didn't make it compact, nor did it give me the option to change densities in the toolbar under "more tools." What's even more aggravating is that Firefox has made all the elements too big so I feel like it's set for a low-vision user. I can't change the graphical aspects, changing the fonts did not help. Zooming out makes it too small. You ruined a perfectly useful browser. Are you sick of your job, or are you just stupid?

The new version of Firefox shows a huge image of a small portion of what used to appear as a page. I used to see the Firefox logo, Duck Duck Go search box and maybe four rows of my favorite web sites. Now I see the logo and search box, I have to scroll down to see four of my favorite websites. On my email site, I can't see the box to type my email in without scrolling. Help. How do I shrink the image to a usable size??

After the latest download, the Firefox menu bar seems to be larger. Some of the bookmarks have been moved off of the to the ">>"" menu. How do I get it back to the former size?

After the new update when ever I try to access a web page it looks zoomed in like way zoomed in and it is breaking many sites for example I can not even see the the bottom of this help box. It is not zoomed in it is a 100 percent.

1. I have accepted "auto mode" for Firefox updates as promoted by Mozilla et al. Update I refer to was installed at PC shutdown on Thursday 27July22 AEST. I re opened browser next day to see my FF webpage background minimized to abt 75% relative usual settings and search bar text populated with tiny type font despite usual pre set zoom factor 110% and no applied font changes by moi. I am long sighted until within arms' length then I need significant optical corrections to deal with type and small stuff Eg. hand stitching on dark fabric as in hemming pants is now difficult; tiny hand held devices aka "mobiles phone" for me are not practical even with usual specs. For most of my 70 years I have viewed the world with just left eye hence reduced field of view, + close up perspective issues - vision sharp enough otherwise until I had to work with computers + poor monitors in the eighties, that induced rapid vision decline. HOWEVER with or without "computer spectacles" I don't need or want contents of web pages blown out to +/- 150% as it now appears when I attempt to go about my daily browse. Attempts to rectify via Control Panel functions were futile. And that's how I set up my previous "view". WHY do this unannounced? Windows 10 settings menu has pre set [not customizable] zoom factors - 25% increments and further spoils my attempts to rectify view to comfortable settings. CTRL+/- function IS NOT WORKING at all in Thundermail hence it remains uncomfortable and highly inconvenient to access.

2.Yesterday30Jul22 I wasted hours trying to locate sensible help in Mozilla community - https://www.askvg.com/fix-ui-scaling-and-large-fonts-issues-in-firefox-103-and-later-versions/ was all I could find worth risking BUT DOES NOT WORK to restore my former view - yes, re check after several re starts of PC show "solution" installed permanently but no revision to my screen view. I guess Mozilla techs quickly out manoeuvred this Windows hack or his solutions don't apply to my older version. WHY has MOZILLA DONE THIS? WHAT IS IT GOING TO DO TO RESTORE COMFORTABLE SENSIBLE BROWSER VIEW??

3. This "change" achieves nothing for users like me, less than nothing. It just confirms the unguided missile of US style business still lays waste to all who engage with it. If I am required to learn how to fix my own issues then I'd prefer real control over it and proper support.

I updated Firefox and now the type size is huge on most pages, I tried changing the size in the settings menu but it only changed it on my home page. How do I change it for all pages?

I do not know what I did but my entire browser seems to be zoomed in.

Please tell me how I can zoom everything back down to normal.

My tabs, address bar, bookmarks side bar the lot are all far too zoomed in.

My PC resolution is correct it is just my browser settings that are wrong.

I am on a windows 10 PC using Firefox 103
