I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

I am trying to download a large file. Am on a course, and the main tutor has given the group a file to download. Have tried downloading this 5 times, but get little luck. The file that I would want to download is 8.5GB, and the furthest I get is about 4GB.

I have 2 questions about this.

1) I seem to have a very 'in and out internet connection. It seems to go down at times for no reason, cutting off the download. Is there anything I could do about this? How could I troubleshoot this, please? 2) Does anybody know of any special tools that I can use to download in a more efficient manner, please? I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the browser over five times.

I refreshed at least three times.

I did the run command prompt exercise.

I went through the all troubleshooting methods possible.

Please have someone connect with me maybe through Google, take over my computer, and locate the problem.

Google and Edge browsers work very well. I wonder whether the competitors want you to fail for users to go with another browser.

Firefox automatically updated to 123.0. Now the only tabs that will open are to support.mozilla.org or similar mozilla.org links. Everything was fine this morning, but now nothing works. This is problematic because I have a lot of tabs open for different sites that I work on daily.

I use a password manager. Many of the web-based services I subscribe to use my email address as my user name - this is quite common.

When I am trying to login to one of these pages, your "Let Firefox hide your email address" message pops up over the selection box from my password manager. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove your message - which, in this context is totally inappropriate - but your message prevents me from logging in to my account when I need to choose between identities (example, work and personal).

Can I turn these messages off? or can you add a simple "X" to the window so I can close it without that action being picked up by my password manager?

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. I am using Firefox with synchronisation mainly on 2 PCs and 1 iPhone (there are old iPhone and 1 raspberry Pi connected, but not used). I have noticed that at least for a few months Firefox password library on iPhone was missing some password I needed, but I could always look them up on either PC without problem. Usually i tried to fix this by manualy synchronizing Firefox on iPhone in settings, it always showed that it is synchronized. Today I have discovered that i have only 19 passwords saved on my PC - same as on iPhone, but yesterday there were much more (probably all, but I can not be certain). Oldest one was created on 30. 10. 2023. All other are gone, I have managed to restore some old passwords (cca 370) from october 2021. I have disconnected internet and WiFi, placed old logins.json and key4.db in current profile, opened firefox and exported them. Once internet is restored, all passwords are deleted again, only those 19 recently created stay.

I did not delete any passwords or logins or anything on any device and did not delete any file or firefox profile. Why did it delete passwords without asking? And how can I prevent this from repeating? Because this is unusable password manager that randomly decides to purge login data from time to time.

My old computer which I had all my bookmarks and passwords stored on it has died. I got a new one and installed Firefox, but can't seem to see any of my old settings. I did not back them up as I assumed they were all stored on the cloud. Is there a way for me to get them back? (including all the websites I stored).

I don't have anywehre else to import the data from.

On all sites where I need to login with my work account I get a tab crash when the browser redirects to https://login.microsoftonline.com/ac4b0eb0-811e-4ab0-acca-8a87079290dc/oauth2/v2.0/authorize?response_type=id_token&scope=user.read......

This is a recent failure (this week), that occured without any changes on my own account to Firefox developer version 121.0b2(64-bits)

I had to install google chrome to overcome this problem. Chrome has no issues with microsoft authentication.

Please solve as soon as possible, otherwise I will be switching to another browser.
