Hello, as of yesterday, I noticed that my Google searches were displaced by ads. If I search something, Google would normally display a short summary and a little piece of information at the top of the page, but instead the first ~10 results are all ads, one of the top ones always being yahoo.com. Same goes for searching for translations "[Any word] + language" normally results in the translation tool being displayed at the top, but again just ads.

I have scanned my PC for viruses (with the Windows Defender and Bitdefender) but at least they didn't find anything. When I deactivate all my extensions (Which is only Adblocker, ironically), nothing changes. When I browse in Safe Mode, the ads do not appear. I have already cleared my Cache etc. but that didn't do too much. No I installed a Scriptblocker and with that, Google is back to normal again. But of course, even if that workaround works, I'd also like to know what is causing this. (I also checked with Chrome for example, the problem is Firefox specific)

Any ideas what I could try next or what the problem might be?

Hi! For some reason accounts.firefox.com is not displaying in english on my desktop, but in Norwegian, and specifically nynorsk to make things even weirder. On another PC it's displaying in english as I want it to be. My Firefox is set to english (although apparently has Norwegian (bokmål) installed which I can't remove cause the remove button is grayed out...), and my preferred languages for displaying pages are set to english only.

Normally when I am not using Firefox My cursor is different (I have changed it in settings). Yet when I use Firefox It changes to Ubuntu's Default cursor. I don't know what type of information is required but I will happily provide them if you tell me about them.

I have four mailboxes using Comcast/Xfinity. One of the four does not appear in Firefox. It DOES appear in Edge and Thunderbird. I asked about this about a month ago and the mailbox appeared. But in the past week it has once again gone missing.

Hi... I have just updated my Firefox browser to 107.0.1 (64 Bit) and i now find i have this box Developer Tool Error at the bottom of the page just above the taskbar. I also have a transparent red film comes over the whole screen. The screen also jumps when trying to do a search on the website. If i try this on Opera ,MS Explorer or Edge this does not happen. I have deleted the whole Fire Fox program and reinstalled it but no difference. Please understand i am a senior and my knowledge is limited so i hope this info is enough. Thank you in-advance. I have two end users that are having a different issues but they are of similar nature. First user can not upload anything to Microsoft Share point. She gets a message that says she does not have proper permissions to upload. She does not have the same issue on Chrome or Edge. The second user is trying to download and or save a file from a couple of different websites but regardless on where she tries to save it on her computer it says she does not have proper permissions to save to "x" file location. She also does not have this issue when she is on Chrome or Edge.

For both users I have tried clearing cache and cookies, Rebooting their computers, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, deleting registry keys/user data from the computer itself. I have had no luck with resolving this issue and I can not find anything online that remotely resembles this issue.

Hallo, I have a Newsletter from a publisher in Florida and e-Mail contact so it is a genuine, well known company. Firefox did send my subscription, no problem but subscription order form for Mastercard pay, received per E-Mail firefox is not transmitting. On inquiry, Mastercard said there was no rejection or transaction with my card. I think a software issue the company would know as I saw there adds in Singapore StraitsTime and in the EU. so if they are doing business in many countries then my issue must be a unique one. Could it be a setup problem ie security, or politics to purchase from US? Before I purchased my retail OS online from USA. the next time I open firefox it has reset ti never and I do it over again

need browser to remain on always...

Please my firefox appears to have crashed, or is not working how can i fix it. As i try to open firefox document a dialogue box appears saying that either the firefox is not designed to run or that i should reinstall firefox

Initially, Mozilla stopped showing particular sections of particular web pages... e.g. a local weather pop up on weather stie, and chat on a chat page which is part of a larger football web site. I tried the refresh option for the browser. This worked for the above problems but totally messed up my You Tube experience. I decided to uninstall Mozilla and get the latest version. Not only is You Tube still a mess, but it seems that I have lost all of my bookmarks... they do not appear to be in my profile folder... Have I lost these bookmarks (quite a collection), and any idea why my YouTube is now so bad (e.g. whereas previously I had no problems with image and video with the Auto p setting), now I have constant freezing and only very low quality.... Also despite setting adblocks and other security addons, I am getting adds whereas before I got none. In short, the browser was very satisfactory until I tried to upgrade. So importantly, do you know where my bookmarks are and how I can get them back into my latest version of Mozilla. Thank You.

certain parts of kp.org will not download with firefox. had to install an other browser to get them. as this is important med. info. i think this should be looked at and fixed

This was after an update last week to arch, I installed all the bits that seemed to be missing and now it crashes without giving me much info at all.
