When I goto to YT Homepage it will play all the sounds of the downloaded video's when I hover with the mouse.

But I want to hear the sound of that video AFTER I selected that Video or clicked on the title.

I need to run speech recognition in Firefox (OS solutions are not suitable in my case), but I can't get it to work. I've tried following these instructions in Nightly, Dev and regular version, but they all end with a network error. I also asked my friends to check and they had the same thing happen. Do I need to follow the steps to run offline or is the problem much deeper?

My API URL is giving me CORS Error in Mozilla Firefox, but in other browser there is no error. I have tried many methods like changing the about:config but it didn't make any difference. Its been days I am facing this issue. Kindly help. Thanks in Advance.

On Windows 11. After the last Firefox update, the mouse wheel on google sheets does not scroll correctly. One wheel movement scrolls down hundreds of lines. Microsoft Edge works fine. I tried the different mouse settings in Firefox with no luck.

Can someone please tell me how to answer questions asked, in emails to me, receoved from support helpers. In ~6 emails received so far, my only response option looks like clicking the "Mark It as Solved" button...I can't see how to answer, for example, that I'm using Debian Buster, with KDE. Also, jonzn4SUSE asked me to "see screenshot" of his SUSE distribution, but I can't see that image, nor a file attachment. Thanks again.

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

when I click on links to take me to website through my email in Thunderbird that I will get an error message that reads "we could not verify the certificate, reason=wronghost"

Do you get the error in Thunderbird or in the browser? What browser?

   But, if I copy link and copy into browser it works fine. 

Is that the same browser as the one which opens when you click the link in Thunderbird (a.k.a. your default browser)?

In answer to these questions: I use Chrome or Duck Duck Go. Duck Duck Go is my default browser. If I copy and paste link from email in browser it opens, but if I click on link in email I get the error message above. Also when you reply the email is a do not reply email so I can't reply back. Please include a good email so I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you

Using Mac OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 and Firefox 75.15.0 esr

I have a number of desktops defined in "spaces" and each app goes into one. Something odd has happened with Firefox.

When I select a different Window from the Window dropdown, or from the Dock, sometimes there is a "sliding sideways" effect.

And if I go into Firefox by going to the Dock and tapping its icon - it goes to one window; BUT if go to the Dock and tap again, it changes to another window. I think, always the same two.

So its sort of behaving like "spaces" does, but when I view all the "desktops" in the selection view at the top of the screen, I only see one containing Firefox windows.

Its really annoying when the window changes like that, and I don't know how to get them into a single grouping. I have quit & reopened many times, but it persists.

If I knew which of the Firefox Windows were in each of these glitchy "pseudo-groups" then I might quit all of one group, and then re-open them. Not sure if there are just two such pseudo-groups, or more.

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

In regular web pages, I'm able to hover over an URL / picture w/ URL behind it, etc.... It shows up on the status bar at the bottom of the page (that's what it used to be called). Sometimes I can't.

Somewhere around the same time as I started noticing this, I had just upgraded to a Win11 computer. So, when I try to hover over a suspicious link, I get nothing!

Is there code these people can put in that shields them from hover? So, we can't see what we're getting into? If so, then I presume if I can't hover, don't click... Right?

I want my websites content to be remove in reader mode in firefox how i can acheive this.

I am a developer and i am using one div in which i have content and images in that i dont want to fetch them in reader mode.

I can't print an email. The whole screen prints and is too small to read.

I read previous answers to use the drop down menu and select print, but then I get window that says I have a blocking the print. I don't have an active blocker. I do have malwarebytes. Never had any trouble printing on chrome or safari.

When I hit my endpoint with firefox I see:

How to disable security in FF so I can test my endpoint?

Like I suppose any user of older systems (Macs...) that cannot be updated to a newer OS version and thus locked-in to an older Firefox browser I received an email today:

"Don’t stop the sync. Upgrade your Firefox before March 31st."

Why, why, why??

Why would Mozilla take away this last little bit of usefulness after already having abandoned all updates to the browser itself? Why actively "fix" something that ain't broke in a why that does actually break it?

And don't give me the sacrosanctuous security argument please ;) - I never synced sensitive information, not even my browsing history. If security *is* the reason it should be hardly more difficult to disable/disallow just the syncing of that information at the server end. We're clearly speaking at a change on that end anyway, otherwise everyone NOT running the very latest version would be urged to update, not just users of v78 and older.

Anyway, I'm sadly aware of the fact this little rant or even a concerted action isn't likely to change anything, so what options are there? Any suggestions for browser extensions that provide syncing of bookmarks and maybe open tabs or even browser preferences?

PS: I'm posting this from another older system currently still running a Ubuntu 14.04 version that is in fact hardly younger than my Mac's OS but still enjoys Firefox updates...

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.
