I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I would like my Mozilla Firefox bookmarks to stay on the left side and my bookmark toolbar on the right side (just like it used to be). Now both Bookmark toolbar and Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are on the left side , and I can't even search a Mozilla Firefox bookmark using the search window.

Hello everyone, since my recent update on Mac OS Sonoma 14.0, my Firefox 119.0 (64-bit) bookmarks are becoming irresponsive.

When I hover over any bookmark in my Firefox side bar, it suddenly becomes invisible, and sometimes its entire folder disappear from the side bar from where it has previously been saved, as well as any next bookmark in the same folder. Yet it is still in the bookmark folder, but i have to relaunch Firefox to find it again!

Here are enclosed 2 screen captures. See the section called "A LIRE PRIO 2023-10" just below "00 sources" when I initially opened it on my side bar, it was visible, and when I clicked on any of the bookmarks saved in the folder "01 A LIRE PRIO 2023-10", the entire folder "01 A LIRE PRIO 2023-10" disappeared!

Yet if I go into my Firefox folder, it is still there. If i click on the next folder (from the lateral bar), it will disappear again!

Does anyone have had the same problem and found a solution?

Will appreciate as I had to move to google but does not enjoy it in the same way as Firefox (been on it since 2012!).

I have followed instructions, installed the new Mozilla and, when trying to use it, I get a message to search with google or enter address. Then, I am told that the "browser has crashed . . just tell it to restart" . . . repeatedly Is it not compatible with a Lenovo laptop? Gail Whitaker

My sign on for my webmail has not worked for the past couple of months. I have changed my password and this does not help. I have contacted Centurylink and tried everything they suggested and it still does not work. Have you changed something with the browser that it does not function anymore with my email? My email works using Microsoft Edge browser. It just sits on the sign in page and gives me no reason it does not work. I have cleared my cache and it does not help.

Firefox no longer opens my previous session when re-opening the browser. "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked in the general of browser settings, but no longer performs a such. Was never an issue until a few days ago.

Hello. I'm using Firefox 119 for MAC OS. However my device is labeled as Windows 10 Firefox. I don't have any Windows software labeled anywhere. I have signed out, restarted device and still no change. When I log into a website from Firefox, my "authorized device" is recognized as Windows Firefox.

Yesterday i uninstalled Grammarly but today i am still getting pop-ups saying Grammarly isn't activated yet, but it's been uninstalled! So how do i make the pop-ups stop? That's the whole reason i uninstalled it in the first place.

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?

I use the above site to watch replays of the NFL. Upon updating the browser to the latest version, the page no longer loads the video content. It was working fine on the previous version and is working fine using Microsoft Edge. Can you please suggest a resolution?

As the subject indicates, I'm unable to get passwords to sync and can't import from csv. Password file was generated by desktop Firefox on a Windows PC, trying to load to Firefox on Mac. I've manually entered usernames/passwords in the login fields for a few sites and selected the Save Password option when prompted, but about:logins# still says 0 logins and nothing populates when I return to the login page for those sites or pops up if I click or start typing in the username/password fields. Also attempted to sync using same Mozilla account logged in on iOS device and Mac, and that fails on the Mac, too (all passwords are still in iOS version and sync on the device is up-to-date). Error log from attempted sync includes, "Skipping check of passwords - disabled via preferences" and repeats 'Skipping check of... disabled...' for tabs, bookmarks, addons, etc., despite all of the options being selected under about:preferences#sync. Tried unchecking all, disconnecting, reconnecting, and making sure all were checked again. Tried to connect using QR code, but keep getting the message, "Pairing unsuccessful. Try again." as soon as I click on "Connect another device" - a QR code is never actually generated/displayed (see image), and clicking on it to 'try again' does not refresh/generate a QR code. A Primary Password (Master Password) has never been set for this account/on any associated devices. If I try to enter a web address, username, and password manually in about:logins#, it throws an error message and says it couldn't save, and asks me to enter a primary password which, again, I've never created/had. All versions of Firefox are up-to-date.

Please help.

If the Master Password is enabled on one device, it needs to be enabled on all devices connected to a Sync account.

Type about:sync-log in the URL bar and hit Enter. Do you have any error reports on the devices where Logins sync isn't working?

The text of the log can be posted here: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/ Make sure you select "a month" for data retention; "a day" is the default.

Then provide the resultant URL (after posting) here so a Sync support person can review those logs - latest per device. Might take a few days to get a knowledgeable response here. '

I receive the following message when going to nba.com (just nba.com, no videos, etc)

"A Secure Connection Failed error page will include a description of the error and a Try Again button. There is no option to add a security exception to bypass this type of error."

This (There is no option) means that I have to quit using Firefox?

my connection to the internet drops and I receive a message that says "No Internet Connection". This happens frequently at home, and at work and has been going on for months. I will generally close Firefox and reopen, then it says that Firefox is still running and do I want to close and I click yes. I still have a good signal in every case. It mostly happens when I have my email open and another site, like banking, subschool, or doing some type of research. I use chrome for some apps, but I don't like using it but they don't work in Firefox, and I never get a crash notice. I have checked for updates for WIndows 10, ZoneAlarm, Firefox, and drivers and everything is up to date. Other than that I can't find any more information or posts on this. Please help Ronald Fisk

We downloaded the New Firefox Browser 119 and now we cannot check check boxes on our webpages. We can check the box for all, but not for individual check boxes on the same page.

When trying to download something, I have to use "Troubleshoot Mode" Downloads fail to complete when in "Regular" mode. Does anyone have any clue what might be causing the problem?

I need to delete my husband's firefox account from my computer without deleting it on his computer altogether. I need to set up or reset a firefox account for myself.
