return the address bar to center of screen. as a senior don't need something smaller and up near top of screen. should of ask before changes were made on 89 update.

When I start typing in the "Search with Google or enter address" window, firefox gets me to the address bar and suggests scores of useless suggestions. The question does not stay in the window. When I am solving a crossword puzzle, I am getting useless suggestions - cannot finish the task. Same with other situations. It seems the the programme is trying to guess what I want? How can I disable it? All this have started after the latest update. I have mozilla Firefox 89.0 (X64 en-GB) I have installed in my computer Google Chrome as well and it works perfectly well - so it is not my computer acting up! Please help Peter

This latest update is horrible. I hate everything about the new tool/browser bar. How do I undo this abomination and reset it to the settings I had yesterday? Who thought this was a good idea? It's shit!

When i start typing a search in the google search bar the text is entered into the address bar and multiple suggestions are displayed. How can i disable this so that my text remains in the google search bar and not the address bar.

I have a dynamic web URL like test/something, when i visit the webpage for the first time using http://test/something it will be navigated to the particular domain page as expected. But if i try to visit again the same domain address like test/someotherurl it must be auto suggested and recognized as a web URL (http://test/someotherurl) rather taking me/suggesting for a google search when i click enter.  Also it is not shown anywhere.  All other browsers and older versions (78) of firefox was showing this. I request you to kindly suggest me a way to fix this.

Attached a screenshot for the scenario. You can see only search with google suggestion is there. previously i visited http://test/someurl from the same browser. So here every time i need to type http in front of a url.

This unbelievably atrocious new redesign (like, the [removed] were the Mozilla folks on? I am 84 years old and have limited digital skills. My computer is 2003 Dell Windows 7 running with Firefox at my deceased brother's suggestion. I do not know how to get my email back to normal size - it is now so small it could be ant tracks. If this is not the correct group, could you pass it on.

   When I go to other sites eg, Amazon, Weather, etc these present in normal size.  Can you help me get my email back in normal size.  My address is a @gmail address.

How to prevent Firefox 89.0 from showing black-background drop down boxes?

Provisionally stopped hardware acceleration, no effect; now back on

Extensions, as have been in use for years without this issue, shown in attachment; anyway no change in troubleshooting mode

How do I search from the Search Box (the box under Google" on the Google Homepage) ? Since the latest Firefox update (89.0June 2021), even though I have the cursor in the Search Box, when I type the cursor jumps to the address search box. I have tried adjusting the Firefox "search" settings, but that didn't work. I also tried changing "keyw" in "about:config" but that disabled searching in both the Search Box and the Address/Search Panel. Also tried reverting to the older version of Firefox (88.0)

I used to have Firefox set up how I like it, but now it seems I've lost that. Any ideas, please ?

Following problem since last update (89.0, 64bix, Win 10): When I call my list of bookmarks (Alt+L for Lesezeichen in my German Firefox), the lines in my list are much farther apart than before (see attached screen shot). Thus, I now have to scroll down to reach the lower items in the list. What can I do to get back the former, narrow list of bookmarks? Thanks a lot Hansueli Hof

Hi, I use a PC under W7.

with FF88, the zone of the activated/unused tabs was above the screen, below the listed tabs bar (like in the snapshot).

With FF89, this zone is now empty (background in blue in the snapshot) and only the active tab appears below the window (on the right down in the snapshot for the current tab).

It makes FF simply unusable ! Need your help to come back to a normal situation : all tabs in the blue bar where they were.

After update firefox 89, I cannot input into search box. Text will only appear in the toolbar URL input box. Please help me fix it? Google is my default search engine.

Even though I don't have use the address bar clicked in settings, firefox still forces my search from the search bar, into the address bar, I think this is since my last update from firefox

Every time I see New Improved Firefox I groan as it means that what I am used to no longer functions.

Case in point click on FF open page and I have 3 search bars and trying to use just the Firefox will not allow any type to show up just in top two.

1. How do I eliminate the top two?? 2. How when typing can I get it to show up in the Firefox address bar as it has done for the past 12 years???????
