I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I can play videos and audios on another browser or files stored on my computer, but just now I cannot on Firefox. I saw the FAQ explanation about Windows 7, but I have been using Firefox for years including just hours ago using Windows 7. Why would this happen right now? Did some new version just get installed? If so, can I return to the prior version and turn off the automatic update?

Since version 98, Firefox still saves files in the designated Downloads folder, even if I just want to open them. This new behavior keeps cluttering up the Downloads folder with unnecessary garbage. What I want to have in there is what I choose to download myself, not some temporary files. That's what the Temp folder is for.

The problem https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370409 is marked as closed, unfortunately with no fix. Will anyone be addressing this yet, or do users have to get used to it?

I, after a few months, chose to switch back to version 97.0.2 I will no longer accept updates regardless of new security patches. Unfortunately.

Running v104.0.2. (UK) Whenever I have an 'email box', I get an autofill email address appearing I wish to delete. When I highlight the address, and hit 'delete' it doesn't work. On searching a method, I get the suggestion to go into settings and drill down in the 'Forms & Autofill' section in 'privacy' settings, but my FireFox has no such section.

I then tried to 'activate' the section by going into 'about:config' and changing 'extensions.formautofill.available' from, 'detect', to 'on', it made no difference, I still have no 'Forms & Autofill' section in settings.

How can something so simple be so complicated?

I've tried every suggestion of removing "Other Bookmarks" and all failed miserably with this new Firefox, it is ticking me off, why Firefox creates these irritations for its members is beyond me, no wonder its popularity is shrinking. I need a new solution that works for mercy sake, I am at the end of my rope with this issue.

When I click on an article or any link in Outlook, I get an error message that says, Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk. I'm not an 'organization', just a user and obviously there's no help desk to contact, so I thought I'd reach out to see if someone might have a solution to this problem. I have already made sure that my default programs are set to Firefox for my browser and Outlook for my email and made sure all the defaults are selected. I have also run a full windows scan program which came up without any errors and I have run a registry scan that fixed every identified error. I'm still getting the same error message and the only way for me to open up an article or a link from an email is to 'copy hyperlink', open up a new tab in Firefox and select Paste and Go, which is driving me nuts and wasting a ton of time. I don't know what else to do at this point. I did find a document on the internet that has what it says is a method to resolve this exact error message problem, but the instructions are specific to Internet Explorer, not Firefox. I'm hesitant to find those same tools on Firefox (which is quite possible, though some of them are in different places on Firefox than they are on Internet Explorer). My concern comes with the fact that the final step will 'reset' every setting to it's default condition, so it seemed like a good idea to try to get some expert help before I perform such a drastic action. Also, I'm also making the assumption that if I did do a complete reset, I would be able to restore Firefox back via my most recent System Restore and it would bring back all my customizations, browers add-ons, personal settings, home pages history, cookies, privacy settings, etc. - but I'd like someone to weigh in on this. Since Firefox for Windows upgraded to 105 the Wordle web site fails to work - it displays the grid at the bottom of the window with no scroll possibility & it displays that even when a correctly working browser displays my statistics.

The website works correctly on other browser (Chrome & Edge), on Firefox for Android and on Firefox for Windows 104 (luckily I had a machine which hadn't been on for a few weeks and therefore was no up to date).

I'm trying to watch videos in Firefox. Youtube works but Xvideos does not. Firefox pops up a window asking me:

After downloading FF 106.0 A Firefox Icon appeared on the left side of my menu bar that won't go away and is taking up space that I need. It's guiding me thru a sign in page to syn my devices. I DON"T WANT TO SYNC my devices. I just want to get rid of that icon. When I try to sign in it tells me it will send me a 6 digit code and I have to enter it in 5 mins. I never received the code. I don't care if I ever get the code. Please tell me how to get rid of the icon w/o going thru the process of the "tutorial" Thank you!

Just recently Firefox started to display a "Loading..." message in the middle of every page I go to in Breitbart.com (doesn't happen in any other website).

It appears about 2 seconds AFTER the page loads or press F5. The background goes dark suggesting it's modal. It lasts for about 1 second and then goes away and everything appears normal.

I've been told this is a Cloudflare anti-DDoS CDN protocol issue, but I'm not so sure of that.

I've started up in Clean Mode and get the same behavior.

When using the right click menu on a PDF item in the Download Library (Ctrl+J) option Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the pdf in chrome!!! option [selecting] Always Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the file in chrome!!! option [deselecting] Always Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the file in FF!!!

Double clicking on a PDF item in the Download Library (Ctrl+J) also opens the file in chrome!!!

This is totally wrong, please fix it asap. Thx

Since I updated to FF91, I'm seeing 11 - 18 FF images in the task manager. What has happened, should I be concerned and do I need to get more memory. I currently have 6G running Windows 7?

Hi, when I log into my bank I give my account number and then a password. I have told firefox not to remember my password but it is remembering the bank account number which automatically pops up when I am on the banks log in page. How do I stop this? Also when I signed up for this firefox help it asked for an email address and all my email addresses poped up for me to chose from. I didn't like this either. Appreciate any help. If these features can't be turned off whats the last version I can use that won't do this? cheers Neil
