I have recently downloaded Firefox on Windows 11. When I first installed it, it worked fine, but it crashed and I couldn't open it again. When I try to open Firefox, a "Troubleshoot Mode" window flashes for less than a second and closes. About 8 months ago, on a different computer with Windows 10, had the exact same problem. I thought it was just because it's ancient, but it does the same thing on my well-functioning computer. I have tried the Microsoft Store Firefox and downloading from the website. I have reinstalled and restarted several times, and my computer is up to date. I do not use any 3rd-party security software. I still cannot launch a Firefox window at all. I love Firefox on mobile and I really want to use it on PC. Thanks for your help!!

Firefox is my default browser. The problems have arisen from around December 27th 2025. Till then everything worked smoothly. The first problem is that if I go to google.com then search for say , “Wordle”. The search output is displayed on the screen but when I click on the search result, it does not go anywhere- nothing happens.

The second issues, is till the problem cropped up, I had set google.com as the custom url for home page and windows through settings, home, and had used an extension, “ New tab override” available from Firefox, to set every new tab to open as google.com The url for the webpage works but the new tab override does not. I have tried removing the extension but problem 1 persists.

The third issue is that I have subscriptions to newspapers and had set up the logins. These newspapers are in my bookmarks. When I click on the bookmark the main page opens but the login area is missing. It tells me to get a subscription. e.g., among others, NY times, Uniqlo gb, the Turnitin of my university will not load although I am logged in to the university. I have cleaned all cookies, removed all extension including Ad blockers to fix the problem, tried resetting all to default setting but nothing works. Would appreciate any help you can provide. Since my credit union merged, firefox will not remember my sign in credentials. Edge browser does. Firefox remembers all others. The new credit union merger is Peak, Was NWCCU.

In the past I have had several computers synced together to keep bookmarks the same on each computer. Now I sometimes get the bookmarks but the links on the bookmarks are all changed to other sites. Everything is scrambled. How do I get a couple of my computers all syncing to other computers.

I appear to have my bookmarks duplicated. Bookmark Menu list of bookmarks, bookmark 1

At a glance, the repeated bookmarks are the same, but I could have filed a new bookmark in either set. What can I do to stop these duplicates?

My home desktop computer is asking for a network login to access the internet today, after FireFox crashed. I do not see anywhere to login. Please help. I have a Mini Mac. I am at a library as my internet is not working.

A few days ago I got a popup notice of a Firefox update. I clicked to download the update and away it went. However, since that update was installed, Firefox crashes several times a day. I click on the 'Tell Mozilla' button and restart my session, but then it happens again. Am I the only one who is seeing this?

Since I installed Firefox, every software program, webpage, document, email and new tab freezes for up to five minutes. I can't get anything done. Please help! I tried the suggested steps but nothing works. I am not happy with Firefox at all.

I worked with a tech support team to update software on my computer. After the update they did a clean up on my computer today and I lost all of my firefox passwords. How can I recover these passwords?
