Since the latest update Firefox doesn't show up in the browser list. I don't want to uninstall to reinstall because I have too many settings in my browser that I don't wish to reset. Please solve the problem.

I do not get my emails on my desktop. My email address ends with ---@ comcast.net. I can be reach via text on my Iphone. Thanks, Al Mizrahi

Dear Friends at Firefox,

There is only one reason that i'm using Firefox less and less ; because of the download files options. When i choose the option to download to a particular location, inspite of that, most files get down loaded to the firefox download folder and i always have to go there and then copy or move it out to a location desired.

There is no easily vavilable info about that.

Would request some info and help for the same. i have tried all that i could from the current browzer settings and it has not helped.

Been a loyal fan of Firefox and would love to have this resolved.

I always had one version of Firefox installed. I regularly update the software via Help >> About Still, after every update, I am getting multiple versions of Firefox listed at [Settings/Installed Apps] and [Control Panel/Uninstall or remove apps] on my Win11 23H2 22631.3593 (screenshot attached).

In order to get rid of outdated items from the list, I need to reinstall Firefox completely, but the same thing is happening with every update of Firefox.

Is there a way to resolve this and why is this happening?

I am replacing a ten yr. old Dell Desktop with a new HP Laptop. Can you please let me know how to get the new laptop working with my existing Firefox (v125.0.3) with current add-ons, extensions and settings? Thank you for your time !! Rick Perry

Always shows "Failed to check for updates" On version 125.0.3 and still says needs to be updated. Then just run the install again and then it stops for a bit still on same version and then shows up needing update...been doing the same thing for a while now.

Unable to access HydroOne.com website. Get error message - Service Unavailable HTTP Error503. Only happens with Firefox browser.

I found that my session activity on a secure (logged-in) website was being interfered with. I could not log-out of that website. After I closed Firefox, a notice appeared that an update was in progress. Why should a Firefox update interfere with an active session? Is this an updating issue that needs fixing?

Hello, First post and could not find this surprisingly... I'm wondering what settings to use for windows 11 VPN section. i installed on my desktop but when i go to VPN settings in current win 11 it does not list a VPN. is this possible to use Mozilla VPN at OS level or is it only via ff browser?

Dear fellows,

I did lost all history data after a previous update, my user got corrupted data and somehow I did manage to import the info into Edge browser. To my surprise after I reinstalled a clean Firefox, it only imported back 3 months of browsing history. Topically, average user keep a computer 3-4 years.. I don't know from where developers came with the idea of limiting to such a shot interval. I have thousands of browsing history links from more that 10 years kept and I need them all.

Tried to increase the number from about:config, but there is an option only for Chrome which I never used and always hate :)

I did installed Chrome to convince myself about it's ingenuity, even if it was not necessary. It does have import option only from Microsoft Explorer, no Edge.

If there is a solution for importing a longer period and high number of entries, please share it.

I'm not an IT expert, but I can manage consoles if there is an even deeper option to modify config files.

Dear Mozilla:

It is SAD that the OS I have will no longer be supported due to exploits.

Considering the # of exploits, backdoors, poor coding, etc., in the later Windows OS versions - 1 would truly think that supporting the older and MUCH more secure Windows OS's would be wise.

Yes, they have "holes", but overall much fewer than current OS's.

Plus, the bad actors are very busy exploiting 10 & 11 and pretty much have ignored the prior versions.

Question... what if a major exploit is found that affects all OS's from 11 down to unsupported?

Will Mozilla make sure to supply a patch to the unsupported due to the danger of the new & serious "hole" found?

I vote... it would be wise to maintain a small contingency of legacy developers to help those who cannot buy new systems or flat out HATE the UI & UX of the 10 & 11.
