After resetting my PC, I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox, but encountered an issue with it. Despite being unsure of the cause, if this problem occurs for a third time, I'm considering discontinuing the use of Firefox and advising others against it. I've lost my bookmarks multiple times, which is concerning. Although I initially attempted to recover my account using my email, I couldn't recall my password. Consequently, I utilized Mozilla's account recovery key. However, even after this process, my bookmarks, which were saved in the toolbar Come back but shortcut labeled "ROW" Bookmarks are not come back. I'm seeking assistance to retrieve them or clarity regarding Mozilla's responsibility in this matter. While apologies are not necessary, I am focused on restoring my bookmarks or exploring options for compensation for the loss incurred.

I am experiencing several crashes a day on firefox and I am providing an example of EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ on just one of them. Any one know what this means?

I'm desperate for some help here. I'm a long time customer of Mozilla, and have used Firefox for many many year. Recently, my hard drive was erased, I lost all my data, and I've got a new computer that I'm setting up I'm trying to sign into my Firefox but I don't have the password. I go through Password reset options, and it send a code to my email ([edited] @mindspring.com) and the spam filter is filtering out the email, so I cannot see it. I'm stuck in a loop! I cannot get the passcode and cannot sign into my account. I just need to chat with someone to help me. Please call my call when available.

Hi, I can't read some DRM protected media anymore (Prime video, Spotify) in Firefox in Windows10.

The error I get say that firefox doesn't have Widevine installed (but it does).

I can read the content with other browsers (Brave) so the problem is not Windows Media Foundation i guess?

What I already tried:

-untoggling/toggling Widevine in plugins

-reinstalling firefox and using a new profile

-using Firefox Nightly

-removing the drm folder from the profile and relaunching firefox

I realized since I upgraded my MacMini to 14.4.1 I can no longer 'post' into any of the yard sale/garage sale sites I am on, not even MarketPlace. All I get after a long wait is a 'technical problem' notice. Am I doing something wrong?

Almost every time that I open a new session of Firefox I get a message that there is a problem and it needs a refresh, which removes the extension I use all the time. Any ideas why this keeps happening over and over and what I might to resolve the problem?

Advise how to get rid of the display streaks Regardless of page, angular streaks will obscure parts of the display (doesn't happen with other browsers, restarted my machine, cleared my cache, not sure how to correct it? Thanks

I have always been able to connect with Navy Federal Credit Union for my banking until a few days ago. Every time I click on the accounts shortcut I get the FAILED TO CONNECT window. I can open my e-mail and ALL other websites. I can connect with Goggle but I've always preferred and used Firefox. I have used Firefox as my main browser for many many years. What is the problem??

Hi, I discovered that in order to achieve that, you set in about:config "permissions.fullscreen.allowed from the default false to true. The default behavior does not stop the video with a single left mouse click, but triggers full-screen. It would make sense to make "true" the default as it seems more intuitive to control both the play and full-screen in that way.

After the recent update, I have lost all of my saved bookmarks and links. These were for work, and I am unable to do anything without them. Can someone please help me get everything back. Thank-you.

Since few days I experienced a strange beaviour on my firefox:

if I press and keep pressed a key, say backspace or left arrow or just a letter key, then usually I see repetitions, e.g. fast erasing back, fast moving back and forward or just typing something like:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

In my gmail composer this does not happens anymore, and if I need to erase a word I need to repetitely press and relase backspace key.

I erased firefox and make a fresh install, via snap, with completely new profile, but the problem remains. It does not seem to appear on other places, for instance when typing this question everything is fine. If I use gmail with other browser (same pc) then all is fine.

I have ubuntu with all updates regurarly installed, uname -a give me Linux mypc 5.15.0-101-generic #111-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 5 20:16:58 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

How can I fix this? Where I have to look?
