Ok, I tried this question several days ago and got no helpful response. I am new at this so I'm trying again, this time with a screen shot. A few weeks ago and continuing, whenever I click on a Fox news link, I get a banner at the bottom of the screen that tells me I have an ad blocker active and I need to disable it. I do and I won't. I think this started after a Firefox update was installed. I want to get rid of the banner. Any help would be appreciated.

Recently, Firefox cannot establish a secure connection to any financial sites I frequently visit. This includes Wells Fargo, Citibank, Synchronicity, and Fidelity. I don't need help reading what a secure connection failure notice means. I've read it ad there is no help for how to solve it, except to contact the website owner. Since this effects all financial sites I've tried, I don't see how the sites could be the problem or it would be a massive problem and I would be able to find solutions via google search.

The problem is about 1 to 2 weeks old.

I have cleared my browser cookies and cache, as much as i hate to do that, because all my saved other site log-ins are wiped. But I've done it. I'm on the latest version of Firefox. I've turned off my Norton Firewall.

I also cannot connect via Chrome, or Edge. Edge just loaded a second authentication page for Wells Fargo asking my to verify my identity, but the page is blank except for the page name and the company logo. Same thing just happened in the Firefox browser. I can't verify my identity because the page doesn't contain the method to verify. It's blank.

I've also tried requiring SSL in Firefox for all sites.

I'm not finding anything on the web about Norton security creating this problem recently either.

Firefox keeps signing me out of online websites like gmail, Netflix, etc. Basically anything with a password. I have been using Firefox for years and never had this as an issue. It is on my iMac which never leaves home so I don't have to worry about anyone but me accessing these websites. The issue is especially with Gmail because I have been late to online meetings because I am finding myself signed out. This is very frustrating and I need this resolved ASAP otherwise I am going to have to use a different browser. I really like Firefox so I prefer not to.

Please advise how to fix this, I would really appreciate a quick response on this one.

Since the last update of FF i have not been able to log into the Danish digital ID services MitID.

It worked with the previous version of FF It works now with Chrome and Edge I have cleared cash and cookies it did not solve the problem.

websites showing NONE of them are connected in firefox either in my bookmarks toolbar or the quick list of websites on the top bar, so therefore I can not open any webpages. Please advise.

certain parts of kp.org will not download with firefox. had to install an other browser to get them. as this is important med. info. i think this should be looked at and fixed

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? I just updated to ver 11. prior to this if I scrolled down a list of bookmarks in a folder the next time I went to the folder ff would remember where I was and open at that spot. now every time I open the folder I am at the top of the list. this is very inconvenient since my folders has a LOT of bookmarks tagged. is there some option I need to check or uncheck. some other way to restore the reopen at previous location.

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

I can't scroll using the mouse wheel but i can using arrows. I can scroll normally in the troubleshoot version of Firefox.

Tried the following: -Refreshing Firefox -Uninstall and reinstall -Removing all Extensions

nothing of the above worked.

Please find a way to help us restore session once lost. Going into Library retrieving and copying should not be the only way - and times history is gone.

Is there not an easier way to create a daily back-up withing Firefox to simply hit 'Restore' ?

This is extremely time consuming - when multiple history is lost while researching. There MUST be an easier way to help us with this ongoing issue. Thank you for my current headache, and loss of time.

I have a problem only on one website (Ancestry.com). One of the pages there isn't loading. This has only happened since updating Firefox which I did yesterday or Friday. I have contacted Ancestry and the problem isn't their end. I was told they have had numerous customers who use Firefox experiencing the same problem. Their advice was to contact Firefox but there doesn't seem to be a way to speak to anyone, or to reinstall Firefox. I am nervous of deleting and reinstalling because I am not at all computer savvy and I'm worried about losing all my bookmarks and passwords. I would really appreciate someone taking me through this in baby steps and plain English. Imagine you are helping your 90 yr old granny who doesn't know the tech terms!

Firefox frequently refuses to load FamilySearch. I can usually reconnect by clearing cache and cookies, but then it only works for a day or so before it refuses to connect again. I have disconnected enhanced tracking. Google Chrome does not have this problem. Please help me find a solution. Thanks, Sharon

After re-starting my iMac the wrong characters appear for non-letter characters such as punctuation, which you can see in the screenshot from the pocket recommendations on the home page, where the issue doesn't appear too bad, but in practice trying to use any site with form inputs asking for email addresses etc. is impossible.

This has happened in the past and I have somehow been able to fix it, but this time nothing I've done helps. (It's only ever Firefox that is affected.)

I have deleted the app and re-installed it. I have cleared cache and cookies. I have cleared all browser history etc. I have tried changing fonts from the defaults. I'm not sure there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take.

I'm using FF developer edition, current version (just re-installed it, but it is always up-to-date, and this has been happening for a year or two). MacOS 12.6.3.

I'm a long-time FF user and until now I've lived with this inconvenience as I've somehow fixed it after troubleshooting steps, but this time I can't stumble upon the solution.

So I I've been holding out upgrading to W11 for some time now, but have to upgrade after being tipped by a friend about ONE convenient feature for multitasking, split apps view and combining it into one tab. So far so good, didn't experience any issue. One complain I have is the gigantic cut, copy, open..etc Tab at the top of the new file explorer. But, again, nothing out of the ordinary.

But when I opened Firefox for the first time after upgrading I noticed a painful delay before actually loading the new pages. At first I thought it was only because I just recently updated the OS, so I leave for few hours and keep working my docs. After going back to browse I still have the same issue. This time I notably irritated because of browsing my regularly checked websites have so much delay now compared to before I upgrade to W11.

Here's the list of thing I tried to fix this issue.

   Clearing caches

   Disabling add ons

   Disable enhanced protection

   Refresh Firefox program

   Updating my chipset driver 

   updating my gfx driver

   Reseting my network.

Nothing I tried above worked.

Again the issue is not internet speed. When I downloaded the AMD drivers, it was 14MBps, quite fast.

Then I open the "task manager" and tick the "always on top" option. I noticed that Firefox is still idling even after I clicked links in my homepage. Firefox only uses 2% of CPU usage. It stays that way for 4-11 seconds (depending on the websites I tested) before eventually ramps up the CPU usage to the percentage I expected to opens a new website.

Anyone knows the answer? Please I'm getting desperate here. I don't want to daily drive chromium forks and would like to keep using Firefox.

hey, i couldn't find any option for it, so i'm asking here. i switched from chrome to firefox but i noticed that once you reach a certain amount of tabs, you need to start scrolling through your tabs. how do i make it so, that all tabs are visible at once and theres no need for scrolling ? thank you
