I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

When I copy the URL of something on the web and save it to a new email, Firefox immediately changes it to a picture. I am creating a list of URLs. I then have to find the (carrot?) click it and eventually get the the URL back to "plain Link". I then have to repeatedly attempt to do a return so I can continue entering below the URL. Why do you make this so hard? How can I stop the change in the first place?

I am using an outside application (1) that starts another application (2) on my computer. I already have the admin console for (2) open in Firefox. When I activate the application from (1), it sends a command to open up another tab with the exact same URL in Firefox. Its really more of a nuisance than anything, but I would like to make Firefox just defer to the existing tab since the URLs are the same. Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if it was.

Starting today, Sep 1, 2023, any link I click on in Outlook for Mac version 16.76.2 (23082700) starts Firefox 117.0 but will NOT open a tab with the page that the link has sent to it. All it does is start Firefox with a New Tab and nothing else happens. This is happening from emails from all different senders. The only way currently I can get an email link to work is to start Firefox first, then click on the link in the email message which will then open the website. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING! This has never happened since I've been using Outlook for Mac since 2017. I've included a screenshot example of the link in the email that Firefox should be following but doesn't.

Since Mozilla updated this morning I get cannot connect to server whatever site I try. Leas are fine and internet fine on other device. Please help techno dinosaur. Need my desktop internet working.

Firefox is my default web browser. When I turn on my computer to check my emails in the morning, I usually have links sent by friends/family or work. I have always been able to simply click the link and when Firefox opens it goes straight to the link. Not since the latest update. Firefox opens, but the tab remains blank as if I never clicked the link. I have to go back to my email app and re-click the link for Firefox to open it. Then it does. It will open the link as well if I open up Firefox beforehand. I tried to Refresh and default every setting but Firefox remains unable to open links upon first startup. I also deleted and re-installed Firefox but I continue to have the issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

I cannot print anything from Firefox...not even a webpage....but when I use Safari, I have no problems printing the same webpages...and I can also print offline, like when I use Notepad.

I've updated the macOS to Catalina.

Please help!

Everything is in the title. It's very annoying to want to go back to a google search, only to find out it wasn't registered in the navigation history. AFAIK it seems completely random which pages will get registered and which won't.

I have Firefox on a Mac, When I click click on a secondary link in an email it takes me to Firefox and not the link. If I have Safari as the Default Web Browser, it goes to Safari and works fine????

I have two email address for @lostvalley.movie on Office365 through Go Daddy. One works fine but the other has authentication error. I receive fine but can't send.

The settings all match.

I tried all fixes mentioned from other users but no go.

My FF (and Chrome) browser started crashing after the latest 2 updates of Mac (current version is Ventura 13.5.1). I can barely do internet surfing - browsers are crashing constantly! In case of Chrome I just see this (see ChromeCrash1 and ChromeCrash2 screenshots). In case of Mozilla the browser closes with an error. It happens on almost every site including Google maps or Linked in. Safari still works well (so far haha).

What I have tried and what didn't help: 1. Clear cache, cookies and all data 2. Reinstall browser 3. Use incognito mode (helps, but not all the time) 4. Reinstall MacOS and install browsers again. 5. Reset NVRAM

My colleagues are using the same browser and macOS version and don't have these issues.

I'm having problems with CPU usage (and Mac temperature) after last update in the full screen mode (I use a firefox extention). It may be changed something in last update? When normally in my daily use of firefox I don't have any problems about my pc temperature. Plus it happens that the external links like the Zoom from Firefox to the application or the the "favourites" link pages I added on my dock don't work at the first click, but I have to wait firefox to open, after I click the first time, and then I can open the favourite from my dock

Favicon is not appearing in Firefox Popup window though they are appearing in normal tabs. In Popup browser window it is showing the default Mozilla Firefox icon. I want to know if Firefox is not supporting Favicons for Popup windows or what we need to do make the Favicon appear in Firefox browser Popup window. I am using the following line of code for Favicon-

With the same line of code other browsers are showing the Favicons correctly in Popup windows It just the Firefox having the issues.

I think you just installed a new version, because a Firefox page popped up, and all the other pages I have open "stopped" working. Maybe because some extension stopped working? Actually a lot of extensions stopped working. I hope when I push the "share data" button down there it'll send you my extensions list.

"Stopped working" means sometimes nothing displays at all; I can't get white-on-black to work; other things I can't remember. This was working a couple of hours ago and suddenly it isn't. So, can you tell me how to back up to a Firefox that works for me?

P.S. I got a this-tab-just-crashed message while reading the troubleshooting info window. Luckily restoring the tab remembered what I'd typed.

Is there a way to remove the "Bookmarks Menu" folder from the Bookmarks Sidebar using CSS? I would like to have only one folder showing in the sidebar since I only use one folder.

since yesterday I cannot use Firefox anymore; nothing works; cannot load any website when I can with Safari on macbook runnin 13.2.1 and firefox runs OK on my android phone. URL links in Mac Mail have suddenly stopped opening when the Firefox app is not running. Clicking on a link will open Firefox, but will stay on the homepage and not continue to the clicked URL.

Hello. Having Problems with Firefox Browser. Firefox start open only in task bar, not on full screen. When I reinstall browser, is opening for full screen but when pc going to sleep and wake up...only in task bar. Have Windows 11. Please advise how to fix it. Thx
