I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

After updating Firefox to 80 and 81, I have a problem adding entries in Wordpress. I add entry No. 1 - it's OK. I add another No. 2 - there is a PROBLEM. New entry No. 2 overwrites entry No. 1 for me. Firefox 79 did not have this problem. To be able to add a new entry, I have to restart the browser (I have in the settings delete cookies and browser history) and then I can add another entry. In other browsers this problem does not exist, so it's a Firefox 80 error, which also appears in 81. I checked only one of my installed wordpress. This looks like a problem with cookies or temporary files.

Po aktualizacji Firefoxa na 80 i 81 mam problem z dodawaniem wpisów w Wordpress. Dodaję wpis nr 1 - jest OK. Dodaję kolejny nr 2 - jest problem. Nowy wpis nr 2 nadpisuje wpis nr 1. W Firefoxie 79 tego problemu nie było. Żeby móc dodać nowy wpis, muszę ponownie uruchomić przeglądarkę (mam w ustawieniach usuwanie plików cookies i historii przeglądarki) i wtedy mogę dodawać kolejny wpis. W innych przeglądarkach tego problemu nie ma, więc to błąd Firefoxa 80, który pojawia się też w 81. Sprawdzałem tylko na jednym moim zainstalowanym wordpressie. To wygląda na problem z cookies lub plikami tymczasowymi.

Why this large black box opposite to volume control when i try to control volumes. this is really annoying. similar issue was with chrome but they had a fix but i cant find any fix here in firefox for it and it is making me change my mind of browswer loyalty that i had for few years with firefox.

If you execute the following code in the browser's console

onkeydown = function(e){console.log(e);};

it should log every keypress to the console window, however, the event doesn't seem to fire when I press Control, Alt or Shift (by themselves, keycombos like Shift + W work). Trying the same in Edge for example works for every key, including the three mentioned. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug of firefox? I should also mention that I'm using the developer edition of firefox.

I used to be able to print any web page/document by pressing "CTRL + P" and then pressing "ENTER". I print about 40-50 documents a day at work. Firefox decided to make an update where the "Print" button is no longer selected by default, so pressing ENTER doesn't do anything. You have to manually drag the mouse down and click it. Does anyone know a hotkey to print without using the mouse?

I know it sounds silly, but dragging the mouse 50 times a day to the print button when it used to be instant is making me want to switch to Chrome again, since they're pretty much the same thing now.

Whenever I try to access websites from apple which require a AppleID login like "icloud.com", "appstoreconnect.apple.com" or "developer.apple.com", the websites will be eternally stuck at the loading spinning animation. The "What's New" box is self condemnatory. WHY is this on here without CHOICE? Are we becoming Microsofty? EVERY function on Firefox should have a No Thank You, Off, Uninstall or WHATEVER! Hello, at some point in the recent updates (with FF 80? I can't say as I have skipped a few updates over summer and only recently updated again to the most recent Beta), the way in which my Firefox browser handles PDFs has changed. After quite a bit of research and scouring through other threads I haven't been able to find a way to reverse it. I do hope there is...

-PREVIOUS BEHAVIOUR- 1) When I clicked on a link to randomsite.com/example.pdf, FF would open the PDF within the browser, either in the same tab or (if I requested it) in a new tab or window. The URL line would show "randomsite.com/example.pdf 2) The only exception was where a website had forced the PDF to be downloaded, in which case the dialogue asking me how I wanted to open the file would appear. In earlier days, in that case I had to pick Adobe or Preview or similar, more recently the dialogue also allowed me to open the file in Firefox. In that case, the URL line would show the local URL, i.e. "file:///Users/Michael/Downloads/example.pdf"

-CURRENT BEHAVIOUR- 1) What now happens is for any PDF I click on whatsoever, Firefox forces me to download it. Depending on what I put in about:preferences, I either get the dialog window asking me to make a choice, or it directly opens a new Firefox tab, but crucially it still downloads the file and shows me the local URL of it.

-WHAT I WOULD LIKE- A way to revert to the previous behavior where for 90% of PDFs, I never downloaded them but just viewed them in-browser. I look at a large number of different PDF files online every day for my work and I certainly don't want to download all of them and having to de-clutter my download folder all the time.

-WHAT I HAVE TRIED- - I went to "Applications" in about:preferences. I can set the relevant entries for PDF files to "Always ask" or to "Open in Firefox" but even with the latter set, it still downloads them and opens the local copy, rather than not saving a local copy in /Downloads/ at all. - I have checked in about:config and "pdfjs.disabled" is set to "false" as it should be

I don't think I have any extensions or add-ons related to PDFs, in any case I haven't installed any new ones recently.

Any clues appreciated, my overflowing Downloads folder is grateful.

MSN does not work correctly.The slide show does not show the arrows that enable one to move back and forward. This has been going on for a few updates now. Also the refresh/stop button does not always work. I have to use Opera to get onto email and to read any news/articles on MSN.

Since installing Big Sur on my iMac I, when I click on a url in a Apple Mail email I get the "profile not accessible" message. If Firefox happens to be running when I click on the link it will work.

I've tried all of the suggestions for fixing this issue to no avail.

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem with Big Sur?

Firefox 81, media control function has a bug. All the sites that I use work with it normally. Except VK. Controlling functions like pause, prev or next are working ok. But system media pad always shows title and cover only of the very first track has been played.

Hello, I just upgraded from version 80.1 to version 81 on my Win7 system. I was looking forward to using the new PDF form filling feature but when I open a PDF document containing forms and try to enter data into a field, I get the following message:

This PDF file contains forms. The filling of form fields is not supported.

Do I need to configure something to allow Firefox to fill fields in a PDF form document?

The What's New page says this feature is available in version 81 and higher but does not say how to enable it. Thanks
