When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.

I am unable to play any videos on firefox only because of this WidevindCDN crash messages. i have updated firefox to the latest version and restarted the device and tried again however this error keeps showing up and doesnt let any video play. Please fix

Hello. I am currently trying to play a web game, but something is very annoying. The game doesn't implement pointer lock, so I have to play fullscreen for the movement to be continuous. Unfortunately, every time my mouse passes past the top of the screen, Firefox automatically unhides the titlebar and controls, and over all tries to escape fullscreen mode. This is very bad for the game, as the mouse movements are frantic and need a continuous mouse. How can I disable this behavior, so that Firefox keeps everything hidden in fullscreen until F11 is pressed?

Firefox not responding to general websites on the web (Ex: Amazon.com, etc.). I have several Mozilla-recommended security extensions that may be working against my firefox connecting to these general-in-nature websites.

I've created 22 themes and in all of them the drop down menus such as "downloads", "history", "extensions", and "application menu", all became white instead of dark like they used to be. I really don't want to go through the process of fixing and reuploading them, I'd apprecate you looking into this and hopefully fixing it with a simple update. Please fix this problem, thank you!

My current install of Firefox seems to be corrupted, because every time i try starting firefox, even in safe mode, it says "Could not load XPCOM". So my only option now is to reinstall, but i have some password and my search history and bookmarks and generall data to backup. So my question is how can i do this. Im on a Windows 10 22H2 Machine, and i am a pretty expirienced computer user.

My laptop Fiirefox has a tiny white bar at the top with the X, minimize and maximize commands. How do I make that go away? (Or come back, if I need it to.) I need the real estate on the laptop, if for no other reason than to shut Messenger down on FB. Presently, I can't access the X to close it. Presently have Win10 on an Acer Spin 3. Hello. Whenever that blue broader on the new tab appears, it doesn't let me type on my keyboard and doesn't let me switch to a different tab and open my folder on the desktop whenever I press my keyboard. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I downloaded Qwant browser some years ago out of curiosity then took this laptop offline. When I allowed this laptop back online, I noticed Qwant and disabled it, as I am accustomed to DuckDuckGo and no longer feeling curious, just want to get work done. Qwant is showing as disabled (under the Disabled heading, and greyed out).

However, when I use CTRL-N, the new browser window is Qwant, not Firefox, not DuckDuckGo.

I check that Firefox is my default browser and the laptop checks every boot-up that it is the default browser.

Can you help? I know there's a line of code somewhere but don't want to do more than I have -- endlessly search the settings, checking that there is nowhere that allows Qwant to load, let alone preferentially loads it.

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

I changed my PC. Then i installed Firefox my new PC and login Firefox account. But my old PC's Firefox account all data will de deleted history passwords etc. It was looks like a new account. How can i restore my old data. My old PC was already formatted.

Dear Mozilla

Long time user (love it) but the browser is consuming a lot of memory. With the same windows open in Chrome, Firefox is consuming 5 times the amount making the system slower glitchy.

This has been an issue for awhile and I checked all the posted solutions. Either the software is consuming an that is normal or something is running in the background. Firefox is at 1831.5 MB as I type this.

Can I uninstall then reinstall? or is everything going to return?
