When I try to log in to any Google "Ecosystem" (i.e Gmail, Youtube etc.) I see it (check screenshot below). I'll use Firefox Developer Edition. In vanilla Firefox and other browsers, everything works as usual.

I am attempting to import server certificates into Firefox. But the "Import" button does nothing when viewing certificates. Any work around? I need to import our server certificates into the Authorities section.

Ubuntu 22.04 Firefox installed through snap. Version 104.0 just upgraded this afternoon.

I use HTML files to create images for a tile based game we play. 6 months ago I was able to create a table with collapsed borders and 0px padding, margins, and borders, then draw my image with 207 x 207 JPEG TDs in multiple TR rows, then place another GIF image over all the JPEGs with transparent edges. Doing this for a table that was 6 tiles (207px) wide and 4 tiles deep, at ctrl 0, displayed a Firefox combined image that was exactly 1242px x 828px that was completely visible on 24 inch 1920 x 1080 DELL monitor. This allowed me to right click an empty space on my Firefox screen and select Take Screenshot to click on the GIF overlay image and capture that image with all of the tiles that were behind its transparent edges.

For some reason, I have no idea why, my 207px by 207px tile images are now being displayed as 282px by 282px at ctrl 0, and the overall image is now too large to fit on the screen, so taking a screenshot of the proper sized image is no longer possible. For example, at ctrl- ctrl-, the tile images are 221 pixels square, which should be 1326 pixels wide for 6 tiles, but my 1242px wide GIF file displays at 1330 pixels wide, probably due to some kind of rounding error.

I was able to use about:config and change layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from -1.0 to 0.74 and it did solve the problem. But it does so with a lot of warning for changing that default value!

So my question is simple: how does Firefox, on Windows 10, determine its screen pixel to Image px relationship? I need to know what to look at for the proper way to get my px to pixel ratio back to 1 to 1.

Mailto is missing from my applications section in Firefox settings. How do I add it back in? I've done an online search but nothing I found worked.

I'm having difficulties adding an image but this is what is listed in my Settings - General - Applications: Under Content Type, I have: Portable Document Format (PDF) Extensible Markup Language (XML) Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) WebP Image AV1 Image File (AVIF)

I tried searching applications for mailto and gmail but I get no returns.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey all , i made backup via "export passwords" via password tab and i came back to my pc to and tried to import via csv file but when i pick my csv file nothing happens , any ideas ?

Firefox is literally the worst browser now, im so sick of opening a new tab and seeing all these woke ass news on the homepage/ads. uninstalling this total piece of trash, if you use firefox you are [derogatory]

In my Firefox settings, I have PDF files set to "Open in Firefox".

When I click on a PDF file, Firefox DOES open the PDF in a new browser tab, but the PDF ALSO downloads to my desktop (both!). How can I stop it from downloading?

Hello, I am eyesight impaired. I am having trouble when trying to use the search bar on the home screen. When the search is typed in the home screen it automatically swaps to the ADDRESS BAR SEARCH. The text is so small I cannot see it very well as a result my typos are abundant, very frustrating. Using the home search bar rather than the address bar I can control the size of the text and use it with no problems. At some point this home search bar function changed, I have tried to use the address bar in place of the home search bar but as I said, it is too small to see. It also makes it almost impossible if you want to search a valid link instead of going to the link because the address bar interprets it as a link and just goes to it, also frustrating. I see a lot of talk about this issue but I don't see any final correction. Is there some way someone could put an effort into this issue for us diminished septuagenarian programmers from the days of old? Thanks in advance, Jim

I've lost the ability to use site-based hotkey shortcuts. For example, if I pull up Google Docs, if I type a statement and try to bolden the text with Ctrl + B, I get the Bookmark sidebar instead. Ctrl + I for italics? Instead I get page info. Ctrl + U to underline? Instead I get a wall of coding. This issue is a consistent thing on all websites, for a variety of hotkey commands.

I can't find where I can change, or turn off hotkeys in general, the last three hours of scouring the internet, including the FF forums, have been no help. I can't tell if this is a setting I can't find, I change with an update, but whatever it is, it needs to be reverted. I'd very much prefer not to switch browsers over an issue that should be a changeable setting.

This morning, I found out a selection of my discord server's icons had vanished and emoticons were not loading. I thought it was a discord bug but it's the same for youtube thumbnails. So far they are the only affected websites.

I have tried to no avail:

• Updating extensions
• Updating Firefox
• Clearing site cookies and cache
• Disabling hardware acceleration
• Troubleshoot mode
• Disabling my ad blocker
• Using Web Tools to locate blocked content

Getting a bit desperate, haha! xD It's not my internet connection, my phone works fine.

Some notes: On youtube, only thumbnails seem to be affected and not all of them - about 2/3, seemingly random. On discord, server icons that are animated show up when moused over (animation) but not when static. When I noticed the issue it was only in a few servers. After doing the described troubleshooting all images are gone. Media sent in chat displays as normal.

If you have any help you are welcome.

Under Firefox "Help" menu I saw that there is a link for "Share ideas and feedback". I posted today an idea to Mozilla Connect "Ideas' section to improve Firefox, but it seems to be deleted. My account page shows I posted "1 post", but no post is visible. Is it possible that my post is deleted by admins for some reason? In that case, shouldn't I receive a message for why it is deleted? Title: “Active tab” marker design needs to be changed to make it more functional

Post content: Firefox is my favorite browser. I use several other browsers during my work, as well and the older design of Firefox tab markers (indicating which tab I am on) was much better. Before Firefox ver. 89, the active tab design was more functional as it was immediately clear which tab is the “active tab”. I prepared a visual comparison of how different browsers indicate the active tab. (attached image). Also inserted how it was before Firefox Ver 89. I hope the designers will take this into consideration in the future releases.

So I tried loading a youtube video and it gets stuck loading, I dont know how else to describe it but when I click play, it gets stuck on the buffering/loading icon and does nothing.

I have tried: Scanning my computer for malware Running Firefox in safe mode Refreshing firefox Refreshing the tab Restarting firefox Restarting my computer Disabling my extensions Disabling my proxy connection settings Disabling hardware acceleration

Firefox stopped clearing browser and download history when the browser is closed. It appears this started after the latest update (104.0). The settings have not been changed, nor have any new extensions been added. Firefox just simply stopped performing this function as it should.

Frequently when I update Firefox something stops working the way I want it to. So after the last update I disabled updates. That was a while ago (version 89) and my browser was getting pretty stale. So I backed everything up, reenabled updates, and now I have version 104.

And, of course, something is broken now. The context menus when I right click are not functioning as before. The userChrome.css is still there in the chrome folder in my profile and has the same contents. The option toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets is set to true. But it doesn't work anymore. I added a line to change the color of the tab toolbar and that worked. So userChrome.css is being read and acted upon. But the other command (I whittled it down to just one additional command for testing) is ignored.

Here is what my userChrome.css looks like right now:

But the "Open Link in New Tab" still appears in the context menu when I right click a link. It didn't do this before the upgrade to 104. Did something break in between version 89 and 104 or is it some other oddity?

The issues I am facing with outlook mail seems to have occurred within the last 3 months. I have used outlook in Chrome and there is no issue. I have gone to the Microsoft site and there are several complaints that Outlook is not usable with Firefox. On my company machine, I limit my personal email to Firefox.

Other web pages seem to be fine, just outlook mail. I use Firefox for most of my testing & personal and Chrome for corporate browsing.

The issues start occurring after about 5 min, within the last month. I am a MacOS user and I have v.104. The issues face range from not limited emails listed, missing icons, javaScript drop-downs not working, not being able to delete emails, not being able to restore emails.

When I refresh the page, more recently Outlook crashes. My cache for Outlook is around 13-14Mb. When I clear the cache, things are fine for about 5-10 min.
