Hello Lovely Firefox Volunteers,

I hope this email finds you well. I am a long-time user and fan of Firefox, and other open source projects. Firefox is a fantastic internet browser!

Having said that, I was shocked and dismayed at what I encountered today. I was doing some tests for screen-reader usability on a website, and I came across the following:

The Firefox team is advertising screen-reader add-ons for Firefox, which don't seem to exist. I don't think the recommendation here should be: take down the advertisement for the Firefox native screen-reader add-ons/link to them, these seem to be really important for accessibility, and the Firefox team seems to acknowledge this. :)

There is some other missing piece - maybe there are Screen-reader add-ons for Firefox, and they aren't being linked to? Maybe the wrong tag is being used? (The auto tag that is used in the link is "screen reader"). Maybe there aren't any, and this is an area that needs some additional attention?

Anyway, I just thought I should bring this to your attention as making our internet accessible to people living with blindness and loss of sight is extremely important.

Dear Sir/Madam I have recently started purchased an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. In order to purchase apps and games for my headset I want to use my PC so I can peruse the software available in the Oculus Quest store However when using the Firefox browser I find that when I link to the Oculus store I end up with a constantly rotating wheel and cannot access the apps/gamessection of the store (Now known as METAQUEST) However when I use the MICROSOFT EDGE browser the Oculus website works perfectly This disappointing as I much prefer to use FIREFOX Could you advise if there is a setting within Firefox which may help or could you comment on why Microsoft Edge works but Firefox does'nt Thank you Regards and best wishes Edward

Firefox will not displace the home page of a Facebook group which I belong to. I can get there through my phone app, so the group seems to be functioning. I can access the group on an old I.E. browser, so it seems to be a browser problem. I can get to my other groups, just not this one. I get a FB message that there is technical trouble when I try to access that group. This has gone on for over 24 hours. My Firefox is up to date.

Noticing that on Windows 11 with Firefox 103, bookmarking a page no longer asks you where you want to put it ; it just throws it in the last folder into which you bookmarked something else. This is Windows 11 with all the latest updates as of 7-31-22. Now I tried Firefox 103 on Windows 7 sp1 and had no problems whatsoever assigning a specific folder for bookmarks, so this leads me to believe that something in Firefox 103 is not jiving correctly with the latest updates in Windows 11, or just Windows 11 itself in general. I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

I would like to understand what i did wrong. Some parts of web sights are being displayed in a language i do not understand.

when i use tor i get like " Quantity ", " Unit price ", and firefox give me "لكمية" and "سعر الوحدة" i just do not happen to under stand that. where do i find the setting and how do i set it to english?

One part of the article I read says the connection issue is due to HTTP, another part of the Article says it is Googles fault due to their HSTS security policy. I have to say Poppycock. I can successfully login to my Gmail on my tablet I just cannot connect to it with my laptop. Firefox itself is refusing to allow the connection. Unfortunately it happens more often than you'd expect. I am in no way or by any means capable of computer repair, but I seem to enjoy tormenting myself with constantly taking apart and rebuildingthis laptop, Took me almost 3 months to finally find out how to stop Firefox address URL bar from highjacking the search bar with that really annoying awesomebar in about:config. But something just seems wrong with the browser on the laptop not being able to connect, but there is no issue with the tablet.

Thank you for any advice or solution that could help me with this. Ive thought about the firefox refresh reset option instead of uninstall reinstall, but if there is a better solution

I am disappointed with the background change with updates. The last time I updated Firefox, I had to do a system recovery to revert back. Then another person expressed concerns with a new version taking control over updating. Why don't you have updates that give you options to choose the background color and who decides if and when you update? I will not update Firefox under these conditions. And I don't want to spend half a day trying to change my background back to white, and especially if would have to do that with every update. Like I have to change my printing options when I do updates! I have been so happy with Firefox for the last 20 yrs. or so, until all of this. Please make this more user friendly and optional.

Firefox updates use the term MSI, but never do you explain what that means. Come on guys step around the counter and act like a user. Not only what does it mean, but what are the differences between MSI and the download without MSI?

Went to https://wisc.jobs/Pages/Welcome.aspx to apply for a job. When applying from Indeed to the State of Wisconsin, Firefox goes into a loop whereas the other browsers do not. Trying to click the button to apply for a job only works in other browsers.

I have the Distill Web Page Monitor Extension loaded. When I click on it, it shows me all the correct Monitors that I have configured. If I click on "Go to Watchlist" it's supposed to take me to the web management page where all the same Monitors should be shown. It takes me there but there are no Monitors visible. If I go to the webpage https://accounts.distill.io and log in then all the Monitors are correctly displayed. I note that the URL after I click on "Go to Watchlist" is moz-extension://xxxxxxxxxx/ui/inbox.html#inbox and not https://monitor.distill.io/#/w/0/list/all/ after I've logged in at https://accounts.distill.io.

Any suggestions please?

Hello all, I have searched everywhere and tried all the suggestions but being a little visual challenged I have a terrible time viewing all this light grey txt I'm getting on the newer Firefox. Some versions back I could just install a windows classic theme that replaced everything and made txt easy to read, but today that theme no longer works due to Firefox updates. Yes I can use a High Contrast theme that helps some but it looks Butt Ugly and is annoying. I'm sure a lot of other folks are having this problem from all the messages I'm reading about the problem. Is there a sure way to get BLACK text on my screen? If not maybe it's time that Firefox gets an update that fixes this issue. I would appreciate any help you folks can give me. Regards,

As described above I'm now seeing section descriptions in a program app I've been using in my work successfully over the past two years. Now, all of a sudden, the section titles in the program are faded gray almost to white, which makes entering info (not to mention eye strain), really difficult. Just wondering if this might have been something that occurred with the last Firefox update.

I've tried adjusting the screen resolution but it makes no difference. See the screenshot with this message.

Why can't I change the volume in one tab? During a meeting, for example, the radio is on, and it is much louder than the meeting, and you cannot adjust the volume of a single tab. This is very bothersome, not only in the above case. These pages determine the volume themselves. Some have regulations on the site, but not always. I am very tired of this problem. Are there any ways to change the volume of a given tab?
