i use New Tab Override, reinstalled my software, firefox, and lost the button to get a new tab that goes on the address bar. its no longer in customize. ive removed the addon and put it back on, started in troubleshoot mode, disabled all other addons, and it never showed back up

can someone help, the guy who made it wont help

I was playing around with my DMARC settings for my new site and was looking around at who was hosting my WordPress domain for http://ibizignite.com, and Google directed me to GoDaddy. That was wrong. However, in my fooling around, somehow GoDaddy and this associate Westechnologies keeps popping up when I open up my browser after booting up my computer, and I cannot get rid of it. I don't know where to find it, because there is no associated extension anywhere in my extension list.

I tried to use another add-on to block it, and it does, but the darn site keeps appearing every startup after a fresh boot, and neither Westechnologies not GoDaddy appear anywhere in my Zone Map or anywhere else in my registry. Can anyone help me get rid of it please?

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

I want extensions to have white/black-lists, so they're only allowed or blocked on certain pages e.g facebook container ruins instagram experience... and I can't block it on *instagram.com* Such feature would significantly enhance UX on firefox

So I have 2 screens. I put Youtube tutorials in my rightmost screen and have unreal engine open in my leftmost screen. I use my keyboard keys to pause the videos so I can type stuff or make changes as I follow along tutorials. Each and every time I hit pause/play this popup appears in the top-left of my leftmost screen showing a picture of the video that I have open (why this redundancy....I have it full screen already on screen), it shows a huge title of the vid (again with the redundancy I don't need another title of a vid that I am watching to keep appearing), it shows a rewind/play/fast forward which is really really poorly thought out.........we have those keys on our keyboard this just is more stuff blocking our view. All of these things block out the top left stuff in my window (file/edit/asset/window/tools/help)...its so large it blocks out all tabs open in this window...its so large it even blocks out part of my viewport and other areas in that vicinity. Now all of these things it blocks out are important and I need to use them. When I pause vid I am immediately needing to use things in this space. Then you turn it off using the solution: media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled = false and your buttons also stop working. So now you cannot pause/play without mousing off screen to YouTube and manually restarting.

So my first and most important question is how to HIDE not disable the use of the buttons associated with this.

My second question that I really want to put in all caps with expletives and maybe copy and paste the question like 5000000 times so that the amount of frustration this causes on a constant basis with every workflow that I need to use vids as part of it...is WHYYYYY?!?!?!

Ait now that last bit was for flair but I'm not even really joking with that one.

Is there a way I can disable the "Pop out this video" button on the video player itself but keep the toggle present in the url bar? I have attached the pictures of what I am talking about I don't like the pop out button appearing on the video everytime I try to use my mouse around the video player but like the option of picture in picture seems like a good option for me.

Currently if I try to disable the button from the menu after right-clicking, it also disable the button present in the url bar.

Cannot prevent intrusive unwanted video on some pages; notably, CTV.ca which has an annoying widget which autoplays constantly and blockers are not effective, neither is video.autoplay.default=5 That USED to be the default no-fail go-to, now it has no effect whatsoever and I'm stymied in my attempts to block this stuff. What's next? How do i do this?

Constantly seeing websites loading with these unusual fonts. I deactivated the setting which allows websites to render their own fonts and have disabled seversl add ons with no resolution. I am on Mac OS 14.2

For whatever reason the Picture-in-Picture button keeps not showing up in normal places like Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I can make it come back by going to the Settings turning off the Picture-in-Picture option (Which is always still active) refreshing the settings then going back to Picture-in-Picture and turning it back on and then finally refreshing the video I was trying to use, but this is kind of a lot to have to do every time it happens and it seems to be happening more and more, so I'd like to fix the root cause instead if possible. Any ideas?

I accidentally hid the menu bar and toolbars (with an accidental keyboard shortcut, I think), and when I re-enabled them, now the tab bar is above the location bar instead of right above the content windows. How do I move it back? I can't find the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in about:config, or any check box in the View menu, settings, etc.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux.

When I have sent an email, it is not seen in 'all mails' nor 'sent emails', it is attached to a thread, when I open the thread, I have to go through many 'header' emails to find it at the bottom. Why is my last email NOT in 'sent', not in 'all mail' - or if it is on the thread, not seen at the TOP, displayed, ready to reply. Sending me nuts. Please advise how I can customize - to see the emails sent and received in REAL time. Currently my sent mail has so few in the folder. How can I stop this. I want All Mail and Sent mail, at the time I sent them. Not buried, Not as threads. I have tried removing threads, and it think it wants to delete them, I don't want that.

Some websites, like my bank, don’t let you paste into the password field. I don’t want to manually type in the password. I found a workaround:

1. Go to about:config
2. Search for dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled
3. Double-click it to change the value to "false"

But the problem is that pasting into a google document no longer works. I have to revert the value back to “true” to get copy-pasting working in a google document.

Is there a way to have the best of both worlds: paste in google docs and paste in sites that block pasting, like my bank?
