I view a lot of PDFs for electronics design. And after some time with the browser running it starts to garble PDFs. I have not found a trigger. Sometimes it opens fine in a new container tab or private browsing, other times nothing will open it. Very occasionally refreshing a few times makes it load correctly. The error doesn't manifest for all PDFs at the same time. Open ones will remain viewable, and once the error occurs some new PDFs still open while others fail consistently. Sometimes opening the same PDF as a file from my local drive makes it render.

The rendering error is a bit unlike anything I've ever seen. There is a lot of X and Y spearing like it tried to render the same text and images in slightly different spots over and over again. When I switch virtual workspaces and come back some parts of the rendered page retain the contents of the previous workspace and others do not. Scrolling produces jitter and additional smearing.

One somewhat reliable way to trigger the error is to put the laptop to sleep and wake it up. That always causes PDFs to exibit this error but often refreshing the PDF will work to restore it. Not reliably though.

I've attached an image of the error captured with my phone because neither screenshots nor OBS can actually "see" the garbage on screen. Apologies that this error is so full of inconsistent behavior. I've lived with this for some time now in the hopes that it was a temporary problem and tried to work out what causes it but I can't find anything other than putting the laptop to sleep being a cause, and even then it is not the sole cause.

Lately, I used "Bing" in Firefox browser,but it often show no result and give one message about “Missing children". I think this is very strange, so I try to search in the "Bing" in different browser(Firefox and Chrome),and the test is confused. when I used this string "益云公益寻儿童" as the keyword for searching, there is only one result in Firefox browser but there are many results in Chrome browser.please see below images ( image 1 and image 2). At the same time ,there are also many results in "Baidu" in Firefox(image 3). Next I changed another keywords"天气预报",but there is still the big difference between them. when I Searching ,I closed all the plugins. So I think this is strongly related to Firefox browser. This phenomena makes "Bing search" very unpredictable so that I often got no result. please help me! thanks.

When are you going to fix fire fox broser takes forever to change senes scrol bar on side dont work on your broser crome dont have this problem so why dont you fix it been doing that about 2 months

when i fill in a form on a site (example cvs) it will not send and my saved payment information shows when i click into the field but will not stay- i must continually manually fill in my payment information

Hi. I am having problems with pages in some websites not loading - eg games on Facebook, my account page in my bank website, etc. Facebook works fine but games do not load anymore (just get the loading message but the circle just keeps spinning, and I can login to my bank but it won't load any further pages. The games problem first started around February with one or two games, but has subsequently become worse so the ONLY game that will load is Happy Acres! The problem with my bank (and a couple of others) started about a week or so ago. I've been (reluctantly) using Microsoft Edge the past couple of days with no problem other than it's sloooooow!! Was thinking of downloading Chrome but haven't done so yet. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Firefox. I have been using Firefox since the 90's. I love the feature that you can save a url complete with that website name, icon, and colors. My desktop is very colorful. I just did an update on Firefox in the last two days. Lets just call it the last update. After the last update an hour ago I just received a notification that Malwarebytes blocked what the call Malvertising. As I said, I have been using Firefox since the 90's as my default browser and I have never seen this before on any browser. There were an few short periods in the last few months when Firefox would just lock up my pc, and I switched browsers to Chrome. But as soon as you corrected the issue, I switched back to Firefox. I got to admit that this Malvertising notification has disturbed me a little. I have Edge, Chrome, and Opera browsers installed as well but I like you the best. Please explain to my why I got this notification from Malwarebytes. BTY, Malwarebytes found a keylogger in my PC that Eset, and Windows Defender scans did not find. So, I am a fan of Malwarebytes as well. I downloaded the Malwarebytes notification of the Malvertising Notification into .txt format, but the button below this says images. If I can send it, and you want it, just let me know.

Recently, a PDF file/form I have used for several years won't accept keyboard inputs within certain boxes/fields. The PDF is an odometer statement from the Michigan Secretary of State. I am able to complete all fields except for the 6 separate odometer boxes. I can move the cursor to each box but when I go to type a number, nothing shows up. I have used Firefox in the past while completing this PDF form without any problems. I have tried filling in the odometer boxes using various versions of Windows (7, 8.1, and 10) and various versions of Firefox (126, 115, and 109), but none of them will allow me to enter the numbers. As a test, I downloaded Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, and both of those browsers allowed me to fill in the odometer boxes. I've included a link to the PDF form. Running Firefox 126.0, which Firefox' About link says is current. Dell laptop running (current) Win10 Pro.

As recently as last Wednesday (15 May 24), everything was normal. Since yesterday (16 May), on the Wall Street Journal site, after I have logged in, I no longer have access to articles' comment threads. The Show Conversation button shows 0 comments (which is erroneous), and when I click the button, it changes to Hide Conversation (which is normal), but nothing else happens--just white space and no comments or comment text entry field.

On Fox News, the comment thread doesn't display, and there's not even displayed a link to a comment thread. Until yesterday, the thread normally displayed, but required login to comment. Since yesterday, logging in changes nothing: the comment thread still doesn't display at all.

On X (nee Twitter), when I click the login icon, I get the usual login box--but it's solid black with only a rotating arrow signifying "loading." It never finishes loading. An added fillip: X, as recently as last Wednesday, displayed in its usual black text on a white background. Now it displays as white text on a black background. I can click on X links sent to me and get that particular X post to display, but I cannot log in.

When I go to those sites in Edge, everything behaves normally: I have access to comment threads, and I can log in to X. One exception: X displays as white text on a black background on Edge, also. This doesn't seem to be an X thing, though; on my wife's laptop (Firefox 126.0), running WIn11Pro, her X display is the "normal" black text on white background.

I haven't changed any settings in Firefox. I do have a couple of ad blockers, and I've turned those off, one at a time and both together; that had no effect.

How can I get things back to normal in Firefox?

Firefox updated last night while my headphones were plugged in. Now I cannot get website audio through the headphones in Firefox. None of the solutions from help forums have worked. Audio settings seem fine and headphones work on other browsers.

Video is stuttering with latest update. This just started today, Ma7 17, 2024. I went to a different browser to confirm that it is firefox. This confirmed the issue. I checked the settings and I have selected everything as indicated in the help files. I tried turning off enhanced tracking function and I selected allow video and audio auto play. It still happens

My Mozilla Firefox Web developer tool keeps autonomously toggling on/off in any Firefox window/tab..

Its as-if I'm repeatedly hitting Ctrl-Shft-I (which brings up the web developer tool in the bottom 1/4 of the browser).

I've checked all Setting, turned off all hardware acceleration as suggested for similar flickering problem (which wasn't on anyway).

I use Norton 360 Security Software but have Norton Safe Web disabled. The only active Extensions are Firefox Multi-Container and Firefox Sideview.

Its not doing it at the moment, but I'm not sure exactly what triggers it and expect it to happen again.

Last time it happened I was browsing Amazon. Hitting Ctrl-Shift-I only makes is turn off until start scrolling again, etc.

I don't think its virus related, because I use Norton 360, and Task manager "Performance Tab" show the computer is generally very mellow.

Please help, as I love Firefox, but this problem can drive one crazy.

I Can no longer have a direct access to my SFR mailbox and my Gmail. I must reauthentify myself each Time ID and password. I called SFR technical services, they told me they couldn't do anything. Firefox is an old browser, I should try to log myself with edge or chrome. How Can I continue have a direct access to my mail boxes with firefox?

I'm considering switching to Firefox for my primary browser BUT once I log in to AOL to check my mail, the print is tiny and cut off top and bottom of each letter. This is not a new problem, but I'm using Firefox more now and still have to use another browser OR another device to read my email. I am attaching a screen capture of what it looks like.

After loading the pop-up blocker extension I cannot access many links inmy email. Suggestions?

Tried uninstalling, selected to not include previous settings and reinstalled. Still having a problem.

Possible conflict with my firewall? How do I uninstall pop-up blocker?

How do I delete all traces of FireFox. I did the "remove program" but when I reinstall it is remembering that I once had Firefox installed so that tells me it has NOT fully removed all traces of Firefox. So please tell me how to remove everything. I keep getting errors that I don't get when I use other browsers, so there is some sort of issue with Firefox so I absolutely need to remove EVERYTHING. There must be some hidden files that the uninstall program is NOT finding. I need all profiles, files, bookmarks etc GONE!!!!! so I can do a new install. PS The REFRESH did not fix my issues so please don't offer that as a potential solution.
