I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I'm having troubles with playing some Youtube-Videos and Twitter Videos. I had to re-install my Windows 10 (64 Bit) due to some hardware-issues which are not related, and I'm having this issue since then. Here are the steps that I already did:

-Removing all Add-Ons -Starting in Safe mode - Deinstalling and reinstalling Firefox, then starting in safe Mode -Deinstalling Firefox with a tool that also deletes all Firefox-Related Registry Keys and App-Data Files and reinstalling it to a different path (other HD) -Disabling add-ons - Disabling Open264 Videocodec and widevine content decryption module (more just because of frustration^^, but I was then able to play some Youtube videos after this one) - mediasource.enabled is active (and all the other ones as well) -Installed addons (even though it didn't work with them disabled as well): NOscript( youtube videos are allowed, some of the are working), Ublock Origin, Video Download Helper, HTTPS Everyhwere, Tree Style Tab, Limit distracting sites - Updating to the newest Firefox-Version (which came out today)

Btw: on https://www.youtube.com/html5/ it tells me that everything works fine and I have of course the newest Firefox-Version installed.

Do you guys may have any other ideas?

When I used a new computer to log into my Firefox account, the account was locked. Waited 24 hours but account is still locked. I could not find website that will assist me in unlocking my Firefox account. Need someone to send me another link to my Yahoo email to unlock.

What can I do to continue using Firefox to access my Shaw webmail? Using Firefox (but not Safari) seems to blank out only the body of emails (Incoming & Sent) when I save a Draft into the Draft folder and retrieve it, the body of the email is there. But when I send the draft to myself, the body of the email becomes empty EVEN THOUGH, IN THE INBOX, THE FIRST LINES OF THE BODY APPEAR IN LIGHT GRAY AFTER THE SUBJECT '(WHICH IS IN BLACK).

SUGGESTIONS?? (I like Firefox and want to use it. In fact, I contribute modestly to Mozilla. HELP!

Firefox is unable to open large PNG. Tried opening the same PNG in other browsers (IE/Chrome) without any issues. The PNG is being served via webserver.

The initial error message was unable to open the image. I reset and restarted firefox in safe mode and now I see broken image.

I can upload an example image, if needed.

I decided to clear all the cookies along with the browser history. After that I can't get access to my yahoo email. After trying to sing-in I get "a problem loading page" with the following message:

"The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. "

I' ve tried with IE (bliahhhh!) and there isn't any problem. Could you please provide me some advice? Thank you in advance for your interest.

I primarily use Firefox as my browser on my newer iMac with mountain lion. I had accidentally deleted some family photos from my desktop and used a recovery tool program to scrub my hard drive for recently deleted images. The program worked very good as I was able to recover my deleted family pictures but I had to go through hundreds of images to find them. In those hundreds of images I went through, I found screenshots of my Firefox activity from banking sessions, to amazon shopping, to google searches. I was stunned. They were only screenshots of Firefox browsing sessions. Hundreds. All taken without my knowledge. I clear my data often on Firefox. Cookies, cache, history, etc. I clear everything. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it? It's definitely a security issue, a lot of the screenshots even showed "sign on" screenshots of banking sessions and amazon user names, email log-ins, etc. I don't know where the screenshots are stored, like I said I used a deleted image recovery program and it doesn't tell you, it just finds files. I scoured my computer looking for jpgs, pngs, etc and couldn't find anything on my own.

win7 Pro. has been running firefox ok. but lately with 25 and now 26, the firefox won't start. I can see firefox is running in task manager. but it just won't pop up. if I download it again and install it, it will run, but every time I reboot the system, it just won't run again. try: reset, safe mode, uninstall & reinstall, new/clean profile, none of those work.

I have downloaded & re-downloaded FLASH, but after I updated my Firefox to 22.0 it no longer recognizes FLASH is installed on my computer. It also keep telling me "Some plugins required by this page have been blocked for your protection." When I check the plugins, the 3 listed are up to date, and the other 3 are marked "research" - which doesn't allow you to update them. I cannot discern that any of those are what is being blocked. When I click on Details, it brings me to a list of "Modules bloqués" and it's all listed in French...which would be great if spoke French or lived in France, but alas California is in the USA. My Java is updated, enabled & not blocked in any way. My Shockwave Flash is disabled & it will not give me the option to Enable it; I also cannot find a way to reinstall it or find a plugin to help me. !@#$%! So frustrating that this new "update" is useless. I hate 22.0.

What do I do now?

Recently yahoo mail wants me to make them my home page I can not see my email until I close it down or agree. This happens every time, I did make it my home page and the message disappeared changed it back to my old home page and the message pops up. Is it firefox or yahoo causing the problem? and how do I stop it without making Yahoo my home page or changing my email.

Since yesterday (23/11/13), everytime I open a new tab on my desktop, I get the Bing page instead of the firefox tabbed page.

Tried a system restore, still it is there.

How can I get rid of it?

When I open a private browsing window on FF26, a Google.com cookie is placed. This cookie is not removed when finishing private browsing. The cookie is placed before any activities have taken place in either the normal FF window, or the private browsing window. No startpages are set, the windows open with a blank tab.

Where does the cookie come from and how do I permanently get rid of it?

I am unable to access my GlobeInvestor Streaming Quotes (http://finserv.globeinvestor.com/fcclient8/mainframe.htm) via GlobeInvestorGold.com. When I click on the "Tracker" link on the GlobeInvestor Gold website to access my streaming quotes, I get a pop up with an error stating:

Name: fccapp Location: http://finserv.globeinvestor.com Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running.

I have restarted Firefox numerous times. I have reset Firefox. I have re-installed Java a few times and I have also updated all plugins. I am running Firefox on my MacBook Pro. If you could provide any assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance.

I have no idea what more functional product I have installed. Also, when I clicked on my plugin Adobe Acrobat to update, the update said Adobe Reader. Are they the same?

I backed up my firefox bookmars, and the file that came out of it is no specific file type. Even in the properties, it just says "File type: File".

So now i'm trying to restore my bookmarks, but I can't open that file. If i try opening the file itself with firefox or any other browser for that matter, I get long pages of text. It does contain my bookmarks, but it's really hard to read. What can i do to fix this?

This only occurred after I upgraded to Firefox 25.0. I've already tried all the methods as described here:

Using these methods, it does work. However, after each restart, another parent.lock file is created and the profile folder becomes read-only again. How do I fix this permanently? Move to Chrome?

When clicking the 'display your bookmarks" button on menu toolbar, it opens a sidebar. I'd like to try a new window or new tab instead of the sidebar. I have Tab Mix Plus add-on installed but I cannot find such option. Thanks.
