Using Windows 11 and a recent version of Firefox, if I open a command prompt window and enter: C:\Users\Admin\Documents>"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe" --help

I get nothing.

But it works if I add "| more": C:\Users\Admin\Documents>"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe" --help | more Usage: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe [ options ... ] [URL]

      where options include:

 -h or --help       Print this message.
 -v or --version    Print Firefox version.
 --full-version     Print Firefox version, build and platform build ids.
 -P <profile>       Start with <profile>.
 --profile <path>   Start with profile at <path>.

Can anyone explain why?

Is it possible to change Firefox so that it works without "| more"?

Note that the above was on my Windows 11 laptop, but I'm sending this from my Windows 7 desktop. None of the suggested topics were appropriate, so I selected the first one "Accessibility".

I keep getting these error messages on some websites I frequently visited in the past. I didn't change anything in Firefox. I can go to Costco's home page but in searching or clicking on an item I get this message "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.costco.com/laptops.html" on this server. Lately when following links from google searches to some sites I get a "can't find" or "access not allowed". These sites tend to be hardware stores - specifically Home Depot or Lowes and some times Walmart. It is NOT my OS!! Because I copy the URL and paste it into Chrome and it works just fine.

Obviously switching to Chrome would solve this issue - but I've used Firefox for years and prefer to stick with it.

What's changing out there that is causing these incompatibilities?

I am able to open the Lowe's and Home Depot home pages but receive an error message like this when I try to load any other pages for their products or my accounts: "You don't have permission to access "www.lowes.com/l/help/truck-delivery"" on this server. I tried to resolve this by calling their support teams, but they were not able to help me from their end. This leads me to believe that something on my desktop is causing this. I do not have this problem with any other websites. Can you help me resolve this?

I am consistently receiving an "Access Denied - You don't have permission to access (names site specific URL) on this server" error message on several websites. -- Lowes.com, Homedepot.com, costco.com.

I can access the home page of the website, but whenever a tab on the home page is selected or a search done, the error message is received.

Have followed all help suggestions I can find. Cleared cache, cleared history, forgotten website, refreshed Firefox, run Firefox in safe mode. No impact on problem.
