Why are there so many Google tools embedded in Firefox? Many of us don't trust Google at all, and in the current environment of increasing surveillance, it seems very strange to find many Google processes in Firefox.

I did a full reinstall of my Firefox browser because of a problem where it couldn't load some youtube diy videos (that did load in another browser). Before the reinstall I made bookmark and saved logins backups. No problems with backup/restore of bookmarks.

Exporting saved logins works perfectly and I get a readable csv file , but importing simply doesn't work. First of all the import feature was disabled by default (?). After making the change in the settings and restarting Firefox I see the 'import from file' option in the password manager.Big dissapointment however when you click the 'import from file' option and select the exported csv file because nothing happens ! No error, no result,nothing ! I tried several csv files from earlier backups but none work. Google on the other hand can import all of my csv's without any problem ! Any help on that would be greatly appreciated.

I exported all my firefox passwords to a csv with the option in about:logins.

Now i wanted to reimport them and set signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled = true, restarted firefox, opened about:logins, menu option import from csv is present, selected the exported csv and nothing happens.

There is no error massage. A you seriously telling me that since lockwise has been abandoned about 2 years ago that there is an option to export the csv but NO freaking possibility to import it?

How for god sake should i get my >500 Passwords back into firefox?

Chrome does import the csv exported by without a hassle by the way.

So I can not play audio from any website in firefox. I updated, refreshed, used troubleshoot mode, and unistall & reinstalled. Nothing works. I know it is not my PC because the sound works on every other app, just firefox wont play audio PLEASE HELP

I am running Unix Ubuntu 22.04 with Firefox 104.0.01 (64 bit). My Canon LBP 6230DW works fine in my word processor and in Chrome, but it does not show up in the Printer destination field when I am in Firefox. The only print option is to "Save as PDF." How do I get the Canon to be a print destination in Firefox?

Only for some selected websites. I get this on Lowes.com too

Getting sick of FireFox, I want to search from the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR, not the address bar, but the settings don't work you can choose to have the search bar next to the address bar, but it doesn't work, the google search bar doesn't work either, no matter what setting, your search ends up in the address bar, with all the updates, they don't fix crap on here, when someone makes a complaint, FIX THE CRAP, I don't need to ask 100 people why it wont work, just FIX IT!!

This Webroot Loads Automatically every time I Boot my Computer, and Runs in the Background of my Windows 10 64-Bit operating System.. But, just about 2 weeks ago, the Webroot Dashboard that "Normally Opens" up in "Green", Now Opens up in "RED" and wants me to Provide my "Membership ID", and The "Product Key" to it.. And this is a Paid Subscription thru Best Buy / Geek Squad Every Year, ( and Does Not Expire until This coming November of 2022..) So, Now I Know why this Webroot is Not Loading, and is asking me for my "Information".. Because I am MISSING This Information, And 269 Other Logins, & Passwords from Mozilla Firefox.. Could SOMEONE? Please, Advise me as to "WHERE" the "Encrypted" (User names & Passwords) are on my Hard drive?? And How do I "IMPORT" These "FILES" back into Firefox's (Password Manager) ?? Skysports.com always asks me to select cookie options. Allow or View options and reject. I always choose the second one. The problem is. I can never choose the options. Opera browser, a better browser than this one, shows the options and allows me to choose. Sky just shows the same box every single page and I have to go through the same sequence every time.

The fonts are weird for some pages. I have used the following settings: Fonts for: latin, Proportional: Serif, Serif: Default(DejaVu Serif), Sans-serif: Default(DejaVu Sans), Monospace: Default(DejaVu Sans Mono). Also I have checked the box "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above".

Need help to fix the issue!

For some reason it seems like under windows 11 with a HDR display, websites like YouTube don't allow for HDR media playback. This is really disappointing and a major flaw as HDR media is definitely the future. And this has been working just fine in any chrome based browser for years now.

Is there any way to enable this?

When I open a email which contains an url like https://link.domain.com using sendgrid.com's service, I get a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN error.

An example of such an url is https://link.intersport.fi. The domain starting with link is a service provided by sendgrid.com to be used in email advertising.

The issue is not specific to intersport.fi but to any domain using sendgrid's link service.

The strange thing is that Chrome and Edge are totally happy with link.domain.extension.

What is your take on this?

In the last week, when I try to view a video on CNN.com I get the following error.

There was an issue with accessing the network for media playback. The sub-error code will contain what specific resource was unable to be accessed over the network. | NETWORK_ERROR encountered, code: 1400

I have tried every solution I can find to restore tab separators for 104.0.1—no luck at all. This includes modifying userChrome.css, which is enabled in about:config. I feel bad about having to bring this up, as it seems to have been well-discussed already. But I'm pretty much at wit's end. Maybe I missed something? Hoping to stick with FF, which I've been using for many years. The run-together tabs are a real tough one, though.

My email account has been discontinued due to identity theft. I can't log into my Firefox account without entering a confirmation code that is being sent to a nonexistent email address. What is the work around for adding a new email address? William Friedman [email]@gmail.com

As of yesterday, 9/4/2022, I cannot access YouTube or search anything on Google. The YouTube issue was supposedly fixed with the most recent Mozilla FF update, but it doesn't seem to be working. I cannot load YouTube or search for videos if the page does load. I cannot reach the Google page and I cannot search using the Google toolbar extensions.
