When I turn on my Mac and click the Firefox browser icon, it will not load. It hangs. I get a "not responding" message and have to "force quit," again and again until FINALLY it loads, after five or more failed attempts. This does not happen with Firefox on my laptop, only my Mac. Both Firefox and my Mac are up to date. Why is this happening? Please help. It happens every day when I try to load the browser. I am about to give up and move to Safari. Relatedly, anyone know if it's possible to export all my bookmarks from Firefox to Safari?

For whatever reason every time 'Firefox' browser goes down my email shuts down also. This did not happen prior to trashcan Win!!(recently installed). It's a pain in the ass having to reactivate 'Firefox' then contact my email server to reactivate my email service. Any assist is appreciated. TangoYankee in advance.

When I try to sign in to Chase banking, it tells me to upgrade my browser, which I have already done. Had to use Edge to login successfully. Using Windows 11 Pro with current Firefox browser.

I have no idea what the icon looks like or how else to mam=nage it. I didn't know that I had an ad-blocker.

I am so tired of this. I am continuously being blocked from webpages because Firefox says I am not able to access them. First it was Macy's website and now it is my bank website. I have just gotten a new computer this week, but it was occurring on my previous one. I am 71 years old and am not a computer whiz on these situations. I was able to access my bank account this morning but not now. Total bullcrap.I really liked Firefox, but if it continues I will switch to something else. I just received this error code. I am in a situation where I am a student at the university of Gothenburg. At the university the students have their own spaces at a cyberspace cloud storage facility. The place is called Canvas. In Canvas the students subject are lined up and information about each subject is also stored and other features about the students education. The place is only about university information and education. Yesterday, I tried to log in to my account into Canvas at the university of gothenburg, at Handelshögskolan on my computer. It was not a success. I tried to use the regular webbrowser for Apple, Safari, but it was not a problem there and I was able to login. I was also able to login to my account on my cellphone, which is logged in via an application downloaded from Appstore.

I do not wish to use Safari because it is not purposeful in the usage in the direction via education that i am looking to achieve.

How can you help me solve this please?

Hello, I run a movie and drama-related website: https://tvmon.com.co/. Recently, I’ve noticed that Firefox occasionally throws the following error when trying to access the site:

"Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to tvmon.com.co. . The OCSP response contains an invalid signing certificate. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT"

This issue is very strange because:

1. The site loads fine in Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

1. My SSL/TLS certificate is valid, up-to-date, and passes external tests (SSL Labs, etc.).

1. The error only appears occasionally in Firefox, refreshing sometimes fixes it, sometimes not.

1. Hosting and server logs show no issues at all.

I suspect this is related to Firefox’s stricter OCSP validation, but I’m not sure how to debug or resolve it. Since my site streams drama and movie content, this error is frustrating for users who rely on Firefox.

Has anyone else experienced this intermittent OCSP signing certificate error? Is there a known fix or workaround for Firefox-specific validation issues?

I'm recovering an older Firefox Sync Account. I can login on https://accounts.firefox.com. My password is valid. I cannot login within Firefox (activating Sync). It simply does not continue - After entering the E-Mail-Address and clicking the Button "Sign up or sign in". The browser network debug show no (obvious) communication error.

Please advise.

I have purchased a new computer and do not want to loose the info in my Mozzila account. How do I install the old account to the new computer? Old computer has windows 10 os new computer has windows 11 os.

Firefox prevents going into hibernate mode. It only appears to blank screen until mouse is moved or lid moved. This happened on 3 year old dell and now on new lenovo. I've gotten around it by going into task manager and killing firefox before hibernating. This doesn't happen on a newly opened window. I've noticed that as you use it, in the task manager, (not sure of correct term) the amounts of firefox tasks/threads? increases but does not decrease when tabs are closed. Eventually hibernate stops until I kill the firefox program. I thought this might go away with new lenovo with twice the ram, but happens at same rate. If I forget to kill firefox, I end up with a dead battery. This doesn't happen with edge or other browsers I've tried.

Saved a new password for a site in the manager, but the update on the site failed. Now I can't login there (need to change the email address linked on the site, and can't without the old password that I forgot)... and the support on the site is bad.

The scrollbar slider isn't displaying correctly. If I grab the screen, zoom in, and look very carefully, it is possible to see that the slider is a very slightly different darker shade of grey to the rest of the scrollbar, but it's almost impossible to see, so something is clearly not working properly here. The scrollbar should be highly visible as it's the most often-clicked control of the entire browser.

I have returned to firefox after getting a new laptop, but I can only create 8 shortcuts on the home page. Initially I could only create 5, but 3 more opportunities to 'add a shortcut' randomly appeared. I have selected to have 4 rows of shortcuts and this setting remains, but still I cannot add any new shortcuts. How can I add more shortcuts please?
