I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

There used to be an extension called "IE Tab". It allowed you to right click on the link, and open the site in a tab, using Internet Explorer, for sites that didn't work properly in Firefox. I was wondering if anybody knows of any similar extension that would do the same for Edge? I can't open Twitter (X) using Firefox anymore, but I can open it using Edge. I don't like Edge (obviously), but I have no choice. Thanks in advance!!!

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? I removed the Firefox Relay, however whenever I want to open my email its still there and I have to keep entering my email address manually, How do \i get rid of it?

Hi, As far as I know, Firefox hasn't recently updated but somehow my address bar is now below the tabs. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Searching shows that this has been happening repeatedly for years with people having to go as far as adding code to configure it. It has never happened to me until the change appeared randomly today. Am I missing something, or has the option completely (and pointlessly) disappeared? Please point me in the right direction to restore the position of the address bar. Thanks.

As of today, I am unable to scroll with my mouse in google sheets. The scroll bar on the right disappears and I'm taken to the bottom of the spreadsheet and can't scroll back up. I have to use CTRL+Home and then the arrow keys to go down the rows. This appears to be only on Firefox. I tried a different browser and it worked fine.

On my Windows-11 Laptop, the Vertical-Scroll-Bars in Firefox are too narrow for me to use comfortably. I am struggling with the Touch-Pad, Mouse Pointers, causing the frequently needed act of Scrolling to become a dreaded ordeal? If someone would provide clear and concise instruction on how to make the Vertical-Scroll-Bars the Classic Width of old, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! lg

Hello all. I'd like to restore the backspace button function but the previously workable solution — resetting browser. backspace_action to 0 — is not working for me. Any hints as to why that might be the case?

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 (20XY005MGE) with Win11 Pro.

All of a sudden, Firefox does not play any sound. I notice that it does not show up in the volume mixer. I tried:

• Uninstall and reinstall Firefox
• Deactivate all Extensions
• I worked my way through the manual pages (none of which mentions Firefox missing in the volume mixer)

Youtube does not play sounds, the Spotify page notices that it cannot play sound (the spotify App for Windows works fine, though). News sites (tagesschau.de / video, deutschlandfunk.de / audio) play the video, but no sound.

I had the problem a few months ago already but I cannot recall the solution :(

This is the message I get. "Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed." I can do nothing.

Things I've tried. Adding exceptions in the privacy settings in 2 seperate areas. Resetting Browser deafults. Turning off all vpn's and addons.

Nothing works.

I recently switched ISP and now when I try to google anything with firefox I keep getting this message appear:

"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot."

It prompts me to click 'I am not a robot' then pick out which lights have cars etc in them. Worked fine before the ISP change. Some notes:

- This does not occur on Microsoft Edge or Chrome. - The only add on I have is Ublock but it still does this when I have that disabled. Plus I have Ublock on Edge and there are no issues.

If it's my IP address, then why does this ONLY appear when I use Firefox? Surely it would also appear when using google on any browser if my IP address was in question...

From what I am reading online, my only option is to either: - Use a different search engine ; or - Use a different browser.

I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I have been experiencing a problem with Cloudflare specifically on one site (character.ai) and when the verify you are human pops up. It takes me in a seemingly infinite loop. On the Cloudflare community site they say it could be because of things like adblock but even without any adblock or anything of the sort on it does the same thing. Sadly Cloudflare community doesn't support being used on Firefox. So maybe they don't support being used on Firefox in general? I have contacted the actual websites support but they don't seem to even read submitted inquiries because I never hear anything back from them except the automated message they received it. It is now preventing me from using certain things in general which as before it wasn't that big of a deal but recently they changed the site layout and still allowed you to use the old layout but the verification blocks you from using the old layout. The first one is one from a couple of weeks ago when it only effected me trying to open things in a separate tab and the second one is the newer one which prevents me from accessing the old layout. I'm not sure what to do about it since nothing I specifically could do to solve it has helped. I have opted into sharing data under troubleshooting IDK how well that'll help.
