I am posting this question to offer a solution to the problem I experienced. My firefox bookmarks were not immediately syncing across accounts. Once I added a new bookmark on the browser that was not showing the bookmarks the synced bookmarks appeared. This may offer a solution to other users.

All the other apps in Office 365 work as normal but when I launch Sharepoint in a normal Firefox window I get the following error message:

Firefox is up to date (v81.0) and running on a modern up to date Win 10 Pro laptop, I've cleared all my browser history and rebooted but without success. The same web page works without problem in Edge and Chrome but in Firefox it will only work in a private window.

have the same addons in Chrome and FF (Kaspersky, adblocker; turned both off in FF to test, NO difference)

How do I change this "Certificates ImportEnterpriseRoots true"? I'm not part of any company, yet this setting has been set on all my units.

It prohibits me from changing some settings, and is driving me crazy.

I use firefox on Mac OS 10.14.6. Every time I quit firefox (Stopping the program, not simply closing all windows) everything is reset to defaults. For all intents and purposes, it's as though I deleted and re-installed firefox every time I quit out of it. Bookmarks are removed, and any default bookmarks I removed are re-instated. It also opens up the set-up and privacy web pages that it does for the first time when you open it. None of the preference files are locked, it's set to remember history and I'm not permanently in private browsing, it's not even supposed to delete cookies. It's been like this since the moment I installed it; refreshing firefox changes nothing, uninstalling and reinstalling it also changes nothing. The only thing that stays the same is that my computer keeps firefox as my default browser.

Hi, I created a new profile because of crashes. I have Firefox version 81.0.1 (64-bit). I have Ramdisk but I cannot edit anymore the cache location in browser.cache.disk.parent_directory. I can only toggle true-false but can't add the ramdisk location. Aren't we allowed anymore to use a ramdisk for cache?

When I try clicking on certain things, it doesn't work. Example shown in picture. Same clickable thing works on chrome, but I don't want to use chrome. Any fixes? (The past months part)

Ever since I received my bluetooth headphones (ATH-SR50BT), I've had a problem with the sound. Whenever I pause a video or kill the tab it's in (even if the video is not playing) all the sounds of my computer are muted. Simply changing my sound output and going back to my headphone resume the other sounds.

I've tried solutions for Windows and the headphone without success, and then found solutions that appear to work for Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/8894867?hl=en&msgid=14396047) and Spotify (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Pausing-Spotify-Playback-quot-Mutes-quot-ALL-Audio-Playback-On/m-p/4551102/highlight/true#M64084), hence why I decided to search for a Firefox fix.

Could someone help me ?

Recently Firefox asked me to close so it could restart and install an update, and when it came back, it wasn't properly displaying a number of character sets for which I have the proper fonts installed. Sorry for the vagueness as to when this was, but I'm not sure. The attached table of letters from Wikipedia's article on the Phoenician alphabet gives a great illustration of the problem I'm having. All of these characters used to display.

The fonts work fine outside of Firefox. But the problem isn't limited to Wikipedia, as shown in the next screenshot from Tatoeba. And there are other, non-Semitic letters that I've also suddenly started having problems with - I think they're all the kind that a typical Unicode font might not support, leading me to wonder if Firefox is properly looking for another font, and it doesn't seem so, but I've had difficulty trying to fix this in settings and haven't found any threads here or elsewhere about how I might do so.

recently you tube had started taking SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much time to load and i don't know why

i open a video and it starts loading and i wait 5 whole minutes for the video to load... i tried disabling ad blocker and using you tube enhancer but it still does not work can you please help?

I had Bing as my homepage and search engine, and that has always worked fine, for many years. But after a recent Firefox update, the browser will no longer allow Bing as my homepage and search engine, and because I had set the browser exclusively for Bing, I can't access another search engine. I liked the Bing homepage because it had a new photo every day, and most of those photos were downloadable to use as wallpapers. Looks like I may go back to Internet Explorer [I don't like Edge]. Why won't Firefox allow Bing now? - it's not a security risk.

I am using a Linux/Ubuntu computer. I downloaded a program that instructs me to "Open a browser window" to enter certain commands. I am fairly new Linux user and am requesting assistance on how to open a Firefox browser "command" window and enter a Linux command.

I went to "Show All Bookmarks" and searched for a bookmark. I want to know what folder I put the bookmark in. I can't figure out how to do so.

"You can open this bookmark in a tab, possible in "Work Offline mode". If you click the highlighted star on the location bar then you can check via the Folder line where in the folder tree this bookmark is located (second down arrow and use the scroll bar)."

How do I get into "Work Offline mode"? Also, why is this so difficult?

Honestly, I have no idea how to describe it. I loved how when I played a video on Firefox, it wouldn't pop up with that annoying video title whenever I changed my volume. Now, when I'm watching a video or playing audio, this happens. And, it doesn't even get it right most of the time! Like for example, it does this instead! That's not even the page I'm on!

Is there any way for me to get rid of this? Thanks

Need help configuring Firefox exceptions for Cookies and Other site Data so sites like the NY Times can remember me so I don't have to log-in to them multiple times per day.

I've even deleted Firefox and started over, but that did not resolve the issue.

I need an expert in this to help me as I'm just not getting it...though I have tried many different configurations of FireFox's settings.

Hello, I just restarted my PC after a Windows 10 update (Windows Update). Launching Firefox from the task bar no longer worked (link removed). So I launched Firefox from the start menu. A completely blank version of Firefox appeared on the screen, as if I had just installed it. No more favorites, no more extensions, no more customization. All Firefox installation files in the AppData directory are dated today. How can a Windows update remove a Firefox installation? Is it possible to recover favorites and bookmarks? I use Firefox for many years. Firefox is always synced and I use "Firefox master password".

The problem is that every time I try to sign in my account I see this message: "This account is not active. Please contact an administrator if you believe this is an error. " This message is looks like mozilla's prank, because someone needs to sign in first to get help! As I try to get help, "support mozilla" is drive me to an endless loop in Mozilla.org.

After several minutes (I think about 15minutes) I don't know why and how but I'm in! This is happened every time I try to sign in my account!

Why is so much time consuming and frustrating the way to sign in? What it means "This account is not active." and why don't given a reason why this happens or/and a way to fix? Why I can't just type the UN/Pass to sign in?

I just updated Firefox to version 81.0 in Linux, Windows and Mac, but the credit card autofill option is still missing from the Preferences menu.
