Google has made Device Bound Session Credentials (DBSC) generally available to all Windows users of its Chrome web browser.

What is FIREFOX doing to defend us from session cookie stealing malware (STORM)?

Hi, the home page shortcuts used to be bookmarked sites I selected, and they stayed in one place. After a recent update Firefox litters the page with recent searches, displacing the ones I saved. I can't see a setting to select recent search shortcuts ON/OFF, how to restore the old (and very useful) shortcuts?

First of all I've noticed that even logging in to the account management page doesn't work with my vpn on. So of course sync itself doesn't either. It works perfectly fine with it off though. Is there an IP address that I can add to split tunneling to allow only the sync/FF account manager through my vpn? Or another way I'm not aware of? I'd rather not have to allow the whole browser through my vpn if possible.

I've recently had a bit of a strange problem. I use on-line banking. When I wanted to print off the latest transactions, I proceeded as usual. Then, when I clicked 'print', the list of transactions was overwritten by an (apparent) HSBC document headed 'Reactivate your unclaimed account'. I could still print my transactions, but only at a much larger font size.

I phoned HSBC and could not get any help. It was suggested I took the printed pages into a local branch (fine suggestion with all the branches that have closed!). I did. I also took my pinpad into the bank so I could sign in on their computer. Surprise, surprise, the strange document didn't appear. The bank said that it must be my browser at fault and suggested I update the version. However, they were able to confirm that all my accounts were fault and trouble-free, with no suspicious activity.

This evening, I tried to do just that. Nowhere could I find any way of updating Firefox, so I deleted the entire app and reloaded it, using Edge. Once set up, I tried again. I still get the document. If I try using Edge, I don't get the document. Now I'm completely puzzled. What makes me even more suspicious is that this strange document shows all of my HSBC accounts, with the correct figures, but at the foot of the first page, in large letters, is the line "Are you sure you want to redirection?". Very odd language. At the head of the second page is another line "You will be token to a new page to login an view your credit card details". More odd language.

This problem has only occurred on Windows 11 - it never occurred when I was using Windows 10. My anti-virus software (Bitdefender) reports my system is clean. The problem also does not occur when using any other web browser.

My conclusion is that there is a problem between Firefox, Windows 11 and the HSBC online app.

When I inadvertently press CTRL + R when entering text, it is VERY frustrating because the window refreshed and I loose all of what I typed! Is there some way to disable the CTRL + R combo so the window does not refresh?

Firefox update did not fully complete. All bookmarks have been lost. I did not have a back up file. Can I still get them back? It's still asking to finish setup and has not completed.

Я нажимаю на создать новую вкладку и у меня просто белый экран, а так же есть вторая, но у меня нету скринов и описать её я смогу расплывчато: иногда смотря видео FireFox весь становится черным, а кнопки свернуть на весь экран и закрыть принимают вид как в Windows 7. Как мне это решить? FireFox мой любимый браузер и я бы хотел работать с ним в комфорте

What happened, All my important bookmarks are missing. I have had to log into every account I have, No saved passwords. Really upset. I need help to restore all this information that I need

In Firefox version 149, there is an issue with print preview behavior for HTML <select> elements. When opening print preview, all <option> items inside a dropdown are displayed and included in the print output.

This behavior differs from Firefox 148, where only the selected option is rendered correctly during print preview.

Steps to reproduce:

- Create an HTML page with a <select> dropdown containing multiple <option> elements. - Select one of the options. - Open print preview (Ctrl + P).

Expected result: Only the selected option should be visible and printed.

Actual result: All options inside the <select> element are displayed and printed.

Impact: This issue breaks the layout of printed documents and makes forms difficult to read, especially when dropdowns contain many options.

vary unhappy with the new update. never have had issues with fire fox like this. when going to zillow.com i get this message: upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection termination. I noticed this is only the fire fox browser having this issue. i have already disabled ad blocker and vpn reset fire fox lost all my tabs! reset the computer and nothing still, i get the same message. i have used fire fox since it was a thing and recommending it always. getting a different browser right now to do my house buying, i don't feel safe using fire fox for this adventure any longer. my apologies if this seems like an emotional decision but i see this in everything that gets to big they lose the plot its an infection that is embedded in everything now, windows, home and car pricing. major changes to os and how its used. company's hate there customers anymore and were noticing.

I don't know which topic describes my question. I want to put the New York Times as a short cut on my firefox home page and it won't do it. For a bit of history, I USED to have the short cut and one day it was removed by Firefox when it re-arranged things.

Example email attached. Mozilla support emails say requests are coming from a windows 10 device but I am on 11. Is this a sign that something is wrong with my account or just a typo?
