White screens on many sites
I'm running an old combo linux & firefox: 14.04 & 55.0.2 Lately some sites appear as white screens, some load then turn white, some say 'old version' then white… (funda kabanzi)
I'm running an old combo linux & firefox: 14.04 & 55.0.2 Lately some sites appear as white screens, some load then turn white, some say 'old version' then white screen, and a few seem to load but buttons can't be pushed. Config probs? Are the sites doing it, or has HTML outpaced the old firefox? Happens in both normal and private mode.
Oddly, I've tried to install newer firefoxes, but couldn't install. Old linux?
Has only been a minor problem until lately.
A linux reinstall is still too big a hassle for the moment.
