I'm crazy when I DO it. How do I fix?

I like the idea of horizontal tabs, but the line between the topics and the website is TOO DARN SMALL!

How do I go into to make it larger?

I know it's simple, but HOW?

I have many website icons from closed tabs at the top of the page that are crowding out my open tabs. I don't know why they keep appearing and I can't get rid of them. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm on an iMac, Sequoia 15.6.1

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

How do I set up Firefox to remember my login security approval for websites (for instance JPMorgan Chase Bank). Chase Bank used to remember, but now I have to verify my identity each time I log in to Chase Bank.

Certain PDFs only allow page view when opened in Firefox. When opened with other PDF viewing software or browsers (Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome), these PDFs allow continuous scrolling. I don't have this issue for most PDFs.

I've tried fixing the problem by editing the PDF settings in Adobe Acrobat but to no avail. When combining a PDF that works fine with a PDF that doesn't allow continuous scrolling in Firefox, it seems to take on the settings of not allowing continuous scrolling.

After installing the latest version of Firefox for Windows, if I have 3 firefox pages open (I have pages ungrouped on the task bar), when a download is in progress, it shows a progress bar on each of the pages as opposed to just on 1 page. Was this change made on purpose or by mistake?

I'm not an expert so my apologies for any ignorance or "non technical" talk. I've an account on a website. I signed out and then revisit that website as a guest and they says "Welcome Back". I tried to chat with online agent and they know that I'm an existing user. (Although they didn't mention my user name etc but still they know that I often visit their site.) I clear all relevant cookies of that website and even restarted Firefox but still the same situation. Even I tried to use a VPN but same. Just curious how do they know that I've been visiting this website before. Thanks for help.

I’m not a great user of “forum solutions” simply because due to an accident and head trauma I have developed quite severe concentration issues, or lack of concentration issues however you would like to look at it.

So if you have an idea about my problem give it to me like I’m a 10 year old.

My situation started about three updates ago, and is as follows.

If I open up a new tab or I open up a link into a new tab or window that tab or window will often not scroll. I did eventually discovered that if I click on the “ reload current page” icon up on the toolbar it then scrolls with no issue whatsoever.

I do understand that this is not an end of the world situation, but is happening with greater frequency and it is an irritation which at times really starts to grind that every time I open a new tab I then have to reload that tab in order to get it to operate.

Suggestions welcome.

bol it's really frustrating because again I only have one device a Motorola cell phone and I don't have any kind of computers or laptops or anything else and it's always talking me to sync my tabs for my other devices and this and that and it's really frustrating because I don't work I'm on ssti I don't go to school and it's always telling me that my I have an administrator on my account that's for my work or school or something like that when all it is is hackers have taken over my phone and hijacked everything in my life because of my old roommate David Floyd Lee

On a new computer, I entered a new Mozilla password, and Mozilla on new computer won't sync with my old bookmarks, which still are on old computer.

Sync doesn't add these bookmarks.

Both computers now sign in with new PW. I can't go back to old PW (doesn't have current standards).

How to get sync to work, and get my bookmarks on new computer?

I encountered an issue when exporting a theme from Firefox Color. When I downloaded the XPI file, it contained only a `manifest.json` and **did not include the background image files** referenced in the manifest. This caused Firefox to reject the theme as “corrupt” when trying to install or import it.

What I discovered during debugging:

1. Firefox Color provides both a **ZIP** and an **XPI** download.

  The ZIP contains the correct folder structure and the background image files.
  The XPI is missing these files entirely.

2. Because the XPI is missing required assets, Firefox treats the file as corrupt.

3. Importing the broken XPI through the Add-ons Manager or uploading it to AMO also triggers corruption or validation errors.

4. I had to manually inspect the ZIP, extract the proper `images/` directory, and rebuild the XPI myself.

5. I ended up using ChatGPT to troubleshoot the issue, confirm expected manifest structure, correct extension ID mismatches, and verify JSON formatting.

The issue appears to be that Firefox Color’s **XPI exporter is broken or incomplete**, producing theme packages that cannot be installed or validated without manual repair.

It would be helpful if Firefox Color’s XPI export included all necessary files consistently and matched the structure found in the ZIP download.

The Firefox I was using was crushed entirely and lost all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. The app's folder is not accessible. Then I downloaded a new version, and when I tried to open the app, a dialogue box said Firefox was trying to install a helper. Cancel does not work, and the "OK" stops the opening. I have a Mac with an OS Sequoia 15.

I tried to transfer the json, place.., key4, etc by copying from the old information i have, but the system does not work.

Like the title says. I've removed this (see img) page from history and tried hitting SHIFT + DEL with the suggestion highlighted, but it just persists. How can I get rid of it?
