I have been having issues for multiple weeks now and I am at a point where I am considering switching to a different browser completely.
My issues are very random and I haven't been able to find a link between the problems. Firefox works fine for some websites, loading them quickly and loading everything on the website, but for other websites it just doesn't. Some websites will only partially load, mainly pictures/thumbnails and comments being the problem, sometimes the problem is fixed when I reload, but it usually persists. Youtube is a website that very clearly shows my problem, I have added 2 screenshots of that. Sometimes Firefox just flat out refuses to load anything in a tab, which is only fixed if I open a new tab and try there, or wait insanely long.
I have tried loading websites in different browser, never running into the same problems there. My internet is also not bad enough to have problems loading. I have tried deleting cookies and cache, turning tracking protection on or off, making a new Firefox profile, starting in safe mode, refreshing firefox and reinstalling firefox, but none have solved the issues.
I hope somebody can help!

I selected the setting "Always ask you where to save files". However, when I download files, Firefox automatically dumped the files into the Windows Temp folder. It never asked me where to save the files. I think this is a bug in this most recent version of Firefox (It used to ask me where to save the files in previous versions.) I suggest the Firefox team to correct this issue. It may seem a minor inconvenience, but it is distracting as I have to try to "dig out" the downloaded file among the sea of files in the Windows Temp folder.

Hi there,
We use GMail/ Calendar/ Drive for our business. On the official account, I am seeing a continuous - multi-day - situation where my Google Drive won't load when I point my browser to it unless I do at least one refresh after getting to Drive and waiting for my list of folders and documents to show up.
In the mean time, the following error shows upon on the bottom left of my screen - "The server encountered an error. Please try again later." - this has persisted for over 2 weeks when I restarted using Fiefox earlier this month. I do not get this error when using Chrome or Safari.
Today, I am also not able to see the user who last modified a document or a folder last, as you can see in the image below.
Please tell me what I can do to fix this issue.
Thanks, Mahesh

I visit sites which require password changes on a regular basis and each time I do this I save the login details in Firefox.
Now I have sites where over 20 login options are displayed.
I want to delete all of the expired login combinations but when I try to manage the passwords I only have the latest (correct) combination displayed.
How do I prune my password lists to remove obsolete details but retain the current ones?
Can this be done by exporting the list, editing it externally and then re-importing? I don't want to try and then lose this useful feature.
When using the new printer dialogue box, the print comes out at quarter size - A6 size on A4 paper. How can this be corrected, so it prints at normal size?

I just upgraded to Firefox 87.0 (64-bit) for Windows 7. After the upgrade the wheel click to open a link in a new tab isn't working. In fact, doing a wheel click does absolutely nothing now. I have relied HEAVILY on using wheel clicks to open links in new tabs. In fact, depending on what I am doing I am more likely to open a link in a new tab than to just follow it, as it is easier to close a tab then hit a back button 4, 10, or 20 times to get back to where I started.
I have verified the following options in about:config; browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick=true middlemouse.contentLoadURL=false middlemouse.paste=false middlemouse.scrollbarPosition=false
When searching to see if others were having this problem I noticed a user from 3 years ago had this problem in the Linux version, and that they had listed an option for middlemouse.openNewWindow=true. This option is now missing from about:config. I have no idea if it was in the previous version of Firefox or not, or if it being missing is the source of my problem or not. I have restarted Firefox itself a couple of times, as well as rebooting my computer, the problem is still there.
At this point I am already highly tempted to attempt to return to the previous version of Firefox just to get this one feature back, simply because of how regularly I rely upon it. The only reasons why I'm not at present is to ask for help fixing this problem and that I probably won't have the time around work to fight with it for several days.

I just recently upgraded to Firefox 87.0 (64-bit) for Windows 7. Before the upgrade if I wheel clicked on a link it would open up in a new tab. Now it does absolutely nothing. I've even tried holding the wheel click for 10 seconds, still nothing.
I have verified the following settings in about:config; browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick=true middlemouse.contentLoadURL=false middlemouse.paste=false middlemouse.scrollbarPosition=false
When I was doing a search for related questions to this problem I found a user 3 years ago had a similar problem, and that they had an addition setting: middlemouse.openNewWindow=true. This setting no longer seems to be there. I have no idea if this setting was recently removed, and is the source of my problem, or if it was removed a while ago and my problem is the result of some other change. I have restarted Firefox twice, and even rebooted my laptop, in an effort to fix this problem. Nothing has worked. Depending on what I am doing I rely on using the wheel click HEAVILY, as it is much simpler to close a tab then to hit the back button 4, 10, or 20 times to return to where I started, or if I'm trying to keep track of what links I've followed from doing a search without having to re-do the search and hope I get the exact same results (with Google I never do).
At this time I am already heavily inclined to just return to the previous version of Firefox, despite how much of a pain that will be, however this is a recently released update, so I feel I should give the devs a chance to fix any new bugs from the update. That, and I won't have the time around work for several days, probably over a week, which makes it more practical to give the devs a chance to release a patch that fixes the problem.

Is there a way to import the logins that I exported from Firefox Lockwise? The import options appear to be limited to Chrome, and Microsoft browsers.

First and foremost, screenshots/snippets are captured by the Windows 10 "Snip & Sketch" and "Snipping Tool" software. I checked the settings for both and there are no settings (toggled on or off) that would fix the issue when tested.
ISSUE: Essentially, once the image is captured and copied/pasted into a Gmail email (ex. composing a new message) ONLY in FireFox does the image paste twice. However, the same process does not replicate the issue in Gmail in other browsers. And I am also cognizant of key strokes aka possibly doing a Ctrl+V twice on accident; that did not occur.
Is this just a minor bug that can be fixed with a FireFox update? I already cleared cache and cookies, de-synced/re-synced FireFox, uninstalled/reinstalled FireFox, and restarted my device. Please advise.

Recently, I opened up the Firefox browser and it prompted me to create a new profile. I reopened the browser 2-3 more times and the same thing happened. I created a new profile. My bookmarks immediately disappeared. When I went to look for my old profiles, they all had disappeared, also. Firefox has been updated recently, and so has Windows 10. I have an older (2013) Toshiba laptop. Any suggestions for getting profiles and/or bookmarks back?

I recently opened Firefox and it prompted me to create a new profile. I closed it up and reopened it 2-3 more times and it did the same thing. I created a new profile. My bookmarks immediately disappeared, and so did all of my old profiles. I have tried many online suggestions for restoring both. Firefox is up to date, and Windows has been recently updated too. I have an older (2013) Toshiba laptop. Any suggestions?
My tabs used to have + signs so I can click on the + and create a new tab.
They are all gone.
How do I fix this?

Dear Mozilla Community,
I would like to suggest you to make built in adblocker in Firefox. For example Opera have this feature so we don't need install any extension. People from Mozilla read subjects in support.mozilla.org? If not where I can send my suggestion?
P.S. I wanted to install Adblock Plus extension but I am afraid about safety so better option is to make built in adblocker to protect from malware. I think that this can be direction in good way.
Yours faithfully, Piotr

EMAIL DISPLAY IN GMAIL: Hello. All of my emails open the first page okay, but an increasing number of action pages in emails do not open. Those pages contain forms to fill out, petitions to sign, and donations to make. This problem began in late February/early March (FF 86&87).
The tech support at EveryAction.com said she thought they need Javascript to open, but I couldn't find any setting or add-on in FF to enable/disable Javascript. I don't know why all of their action pages have been opening fine for years--maybe it's related to FF's new versions. I tried adding Policy Control because it supposedly enables/disables Javascript but it didn't solve my problem.
The tech support at Earth Justice wrote this in response to my report about their action pages not displaying: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0; https://earthjustice.org/action/investigate-troubling-payments-that-threaten-the-florida-panther?contactdata=8D8RgJTCUXwiDCjeWPHh7wQ1fwDy7YSqjRoUFBMLj9iH2tXUofJiQ1CKU%2fIhkHfdjY8KsFkiYme4BhD4yp%2bpJ9S13ALo6NdUs4CtwLA2KaAhIZ0GP2%2bWq9ZUYNwtkHNEKC%2bxUF4VNRJ1XirXG00WayYuwLGnnHVzRWtCwf3s%2fqtR64TlcMwKx0w2e3AyPLspJ8xDw1TQNs%2fSBpWztf%2fNBkvDKFTrC6fsKAvY54zt13IfVVPcfU%2byEdneTMzDaYIN&ms=email&utm_source=crm&utm_medium=email&utm_term=action&utm_campaign=2102_Action_Panthers_Haaland&%3butm_content=HTMLTakeActionButton1&emci=5a0f473e-c881-eb11-85aa-00155d43c992&emdi=01870d6d-d68b-eb11-85aa-00155d43c992&ceid=962627 "We are still investigating this problem, but it appears to be concentrated among Firefox users. We do know that our EveryAction forms require Javascript to be enabled, so if it’s disabled and you’re able to enable it that might work and would be helpful to our efforts to sort this out. Let us know if you’re able to get that to work, and thank you for your patience." How do I get them back?
