I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Whenever I try to write anything into the address bar the suggestions cover it completely and I can't see what I am writing, see Picutre1!

However when I launch the browser in troubleshoot mode from the help menu, everything works fine, see Picture2.

The only addon I have installed is Youtube adBlock. There are two plugins running, a codec by sisco systems and a decrypt module by google.

Could somebody help me with this problem?

Trying to recover from a hard drive crash. Had to buy a new desktop with Windows 11 Pro (looking to be a bad move). I downloaded/updated to Firefox 126.0 (maybe also looking to be a bad move).

Have my last "working" userChrome file (it took me weeks to perfect this to my needs).

I am looking for: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

but there is no "AppData" folder. And there is no existing userChrome.css file, anywhere!

Is the functionality I am looking for a thing of the past?

Is Firefox not completely supported by Windows 11?

If so, what is the last version of Firefox that will still support userChrome.css?

I'm using bandlab to link me and my friends who are hundreds of miles away to make music. Firefox and all browsers crash a lot with a "high memory usage" alert. But these are pretty big projects. I have 32GB RAM, this thing is crashing at much lower RAM levels than I would like for it to use. like 1GB seems to be the limit (i dont know that number if its exact or correct)

Is there any setting where I can INCREASE memory usage so I dont lose work from random crashes due to memory usage?

The blinking screen is on ebay but it just keeps on blinking. I have tried other programs and it only happens with this one and only with ebay. Using Firefox on windows 10 pro, 64 bit

Since updating to Firefox 125.0.3 (64 bit) , I am getting all sorts of website problems with font sizes. Some are all extremely small like on google news, others have widely mixed sizes, extremely large and extremely small. Even on this page, support.mozilla.org, I have to zoom 250% to make it readable.

I tried troubleshoot mode and there is no difference. The problems are still there.

I tried the Edge browser and the problem is not there.

I didn't have this problem before the update. I tried adjusting windows and the screen dpi, but I can't find a solution. Just seems to make things worse.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions for a solution ?

This is not a problem on Chrome

When visiting the "support.mozilla.org site, third-party translantion add-ons(such as "Immersive Translate") can't work. It says "can not read or change data on this site". I want to translate it on the same page rather than skipping into a new page. However, it can work on the "www.mozilla.org" site. When visiting on Chrome, there is not a problem. Is that site just privileged on Firefox ?

when i fill in a form on a site (example cvs) it will not send and my saved payment information shows when i click into the field but will not stay- i must continually manually fill in my payment information

Is there any way to make Firefox iOS browser Dark Mode a little darker by avoiding the moments when it is loading or reloading a page and the screen is fully bright white?

Hi. I am having problems with pages in some websites not loading - eg games on Facebook, my account page in my bank website, etc. Facebook works fine but games do not load anymore (just get the loading message but the circle just keeps spinning, and I can login to my bank but it won't load any further pages. The games problem first started around February with one or two games, but has subsequently become worse so the ONLY game that will load is Happy Acres! The problem with my bank (and a couple of others) started about a week or so ago. I've been (reluctantly) using Microsoft Edge the past couple of days with no problem other than it's sloooooow!! Was thinking of downloading Chrome but haven't done so yet. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks in advance.

The Copilot website text field is the only text field I have encouraged where typing text does not get automatically underlined for spelling mistakes. I have the box ticked for 'Check your spelling as you type' in the general settings, and I have tried changing the about:config layout.spellcheckDefault value to 2. Nothing has worked.

The spell checking feature for the Copilot website text field can be enabled, but you have to manually enable it each time by right clicking the text field and making sure "Check Spelling" is ticked. It is quite annoying.

The "Check Spelling" setting on every other text field from every other website like this very text field I'm typing into right here right now for this firefox support forum, has the  "Check Spelling" setting ticked by default.  

Anybody else experiencing this issue?

The Lower Toolbar is quite handy, with for example Roboform.

Unfortunately, the way it's implemented, it comes above the lower part of the browser window, instead of being inserted at the bottom while the browser windows height is reduced.

That hides the search box when you type Control-F.

It would be nice if this could be addressed in a future release. I am using Firefox Developer 127.0b2.

Whenever I close my browser, it will show but when i open a new tab, it is gone and when i check settings, it is unchecked. I tried enabling both Shortcuts and Recent activity but only Recent activity is saved and Shortcuts is not saved.
