History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

Mozilla has disabled the 1Password extension. I've used this version of 1Password extension for years without issue so do not share Mozilla concerns. How do I override the disabling to continue using 1Password as the risk is acceptable to me? It is more important to me to be able to use 1Passsword than Mozilla, so I'll switch to another browser if Mozilla won't let me make my own risk determination.

For some days now the Guardian (UK journal) website can't be loaded. It's specific for Guardian, I have no such problems with other sites, and I don't have this problem with Guardian with Chrome. I've erased cookies and caches, restarted my computer, to no avail. I'm using version 146.6.0 of Firefox on MacBook Pro 2020 with Sequoia 15.7.1.

ello. My favorites have disappeared from my Windows 11 PC. It has happened once before and then I was able to get them back by deleting the sqlite file, now it doesn't work and I need your help with ending firefox processes etc.

up until this latest version you could delete your search history with a simple right click. This option no longer exists and there is no easily found way to delete "Search History" where did it go? will it be returned? is Search History no longer delete able?

Hello! See the screenshot please: so, I downloaded à pay-bill, with Firefox (under ubuntu), in private navigation, and I get the file with a padlock-symbol at the end. What means that? What means that for me (on my computer), what means that for à friend, when I sent him the pdt-file (can he open it?). Nota: I understood that I can choose between "delete downloads when closing the privat window" or not. And I choosed not to delete them (but there appears this padlock-symbol). Thanks for your help! I have disabled AI according to the instructions given by Mozilla, under settings and AI controls. When I search, I still get the first result as an AI generated result. I want to disable that. I don't need AI's help to understand what I am looking for. I want an old school search without AI.

Is this possible? If not, could you please make it possible?

its pretty much what it says on the tin, im not seeing my channel points in chat

 i have turned off all the tracking stuff 

i turned off the enhanced tracking and i still cannot see or earn my channel points i have turned my site security to nothing to see if that would do anything I have turned off all my add-ons and they just dont show can anyone tell me whats happening here

They play for a couple of seconds, then the panel they are playing in goes black. They used to work a month or two ago. Videos play fine in YouTube. They also play fine in apps like VideoPlayer and VLC. They play fine in Chromium based browsers Opera, Brave and Vivaldi. My graphics card requires switching acceleration off. I can’t find a switch for that in Firefox.

Problem Videos start playing, then after a few seconds the video panel turns black. Audio may continue. Refreshing does not help.

Environment

   OS: Fedora Linux 43
   Firefox 147.0.1 (also tested Firefox Flatpak)
   Display server: Wayland and X11 (both tested)
   Hardware acceleration: on and off (tested)
   Media Source Extensions: enabled (disabling MSE triggers an “unsupported device” error)

What works

   BBC News videos play correctly in Chromium-based browsers (Brave, Vivaldi)
   Videos play correctly in mpv/VLC
   Other video sites (e.g., YouTube) play correctly in Firefox

What I’ve tried in Firefox

   Disabling hardware acceleration
   Disabling VA-API
   Disabling WebRender
   Disabling RDD sandbox
   Running Firefox under X11
   Using the Firefox Flatpak build

None of these measures help. This suggests the issue is related to Firefox’s interaction with BBC’s player on Linux. Has anyone else seen this, or is there a known workaround?
