Hello to all,

I wanted to use DoH (dnsforge.de) under “maximum protection”, but with one exception: I would like Ecosia.org to be able to place ads for me, because I am convinced of Ecosia and want to support this project. Tested this with Cloudflare as well, setting up an exception here does not work either.

Now the exception set in Firefox has no effect. It should not be due to the DNS provider, because Ecosia.org is not blocked and has even been whitelisted.

What is the expected behavior of the “maximum protection” setting?

I found this intruder in my play store. I noticed that my play store was using a lot of data, but, I couldn't stop it from doing this. This intruder got into my Google account and kept cutting off two-step authentication, changing my password, and when I started doing something that might get him out he would disable my phone's screen. He's been treating my phone as if it is his. He's in the play store for sure, but, there's this name that comes up with my phone's name, as if, it's the name of my phone. The name: "Android 13 Chrome Mobile Webview 131." If you need to know more let me know. Oh, he's been all up in my Wi-Fi router and I think he has remote access working because when I disable it I had hell on wheels trying to get back in it.

By using Process Explorer or Process Hacker or maybe task manager, I hope you can also verify that Firefox consumes a few GDI handles per open tab. Windows has a global limit and a per process limit of 10000. GDI objects are used for windows, for the file save dialog and also for user interface elements like buttons or lists. However many applications like Firefox draw everything themself like XUL etc. But still, Firefox consumes 3 handles for me (verified on another computer) per open tab.

If you have a lot of tabs open (for reasons not to be discussed in this topic) this can be problematic. If it reaches 10000 windows will not create more. Sometimes firefox hangs, but often Fullscreen (e.g. youtube videos) will not work and the gui will disappear. Also the context menu will not open and the save dialog cannot work and is hidden.

Am I the first to report this? I did not find anything. Can this be fixed? Can I post this to bugzilla?

Can anyone confirm this? The latest version does not fix it.

This has been working for days, but now it gives me this (see attached pictures)

This happened once another day but then it auto resolved. What should happen is the plugin would load and be playable in the tab. The plugin is coming from the same site, just a different url. Other plugins work, just not these. It doesn't make any sense because the page doesn't use google at all; that's just the login mechanism for the main page, websim. If I am logged into websim and to google this message should never popup, but it does and it blocks me and other users from using the tabs as intended.

I tried clearing cache, cookies, rebooting, etc. I logged into google, etc.

This uri is the tab that tries to auto load: https://websim.ai/@Or9/m-grast You can find the others in pinned projects. I can access the uri just fine, it doesn't ask for login.

Any ideas on how to fix this? It doesn't seem right that Google can block my use of the plugin because I'm not logged in, even when I am actually logged in. Seems like a bug, probably browser side. Can someone figure this out for us?

Please advise on how to remove osite data

I do the following but it fails to remove website info

Setttings -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data check all options Clear Data -> Clear go to Manage Data ~ 12 sites are there with last used show 2 & 3 years ago Remove All -> Save Changes -> Clear Now going back into Manage Data, all the sites are still there none of those sites are included under Manage Exceptions

I have been using Firefox for years. Recently the site locks up and I have to close Firefox via task manager. Is there a fix. I am a Microsoft user. Other browsers like Edge do not freeze’

Semaphore.social is a mastodon/fediverse web client. I've been using it without issue up to now and it has not updated recently.

After a few hours running the CPU usage of Firefox becomes very high (25-50%) and the about:performance shows that it is due to this tab, which shows at values from 110 to 160% or thereabouts.

I haven't noticed this before updating to Firefox 134.0 so I suspect it may be a Firefox regression.

However I cannot work out what the cause is, how to fix it, or if I should file a bug on it.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I am using the most current version of Firefox with Windows 10. At this web site: https://tenthousandpots.com/ , I am unable to browse the majority of the site i.e., no products appear when selected. I also tried DuckDuckGo and had the same issue. However, when I downloaded and accessed the site via Google Chrome, the site worked as it should. I reached out to the TenThousandPots site and advised them of this and they said they've had no similar reports. Can anyone advise?

For about a year I have, several times, tried to use a link or a pop up that doesn't work in Firefox but can be accomplished in Safari. Today, I used a credit card to pay for something on the UFT.org website. It worked. I needed to make another purchase on the same website and page but I got a message that there was an error with my credit card info. I tried again. I tried another credit card. I signed out and back in and repeated everything and still got the same message. I copied the url, went to Safari, pasted the url, entered my info and was successful in making the payment. I am using Firefox 133.0.3. What might be happening to cause these problems?

My samsung account and google are compromised. Need firefox to shield me on this data privacy viollation... Pls assist me on this by tracking source and identify the person behind this madness.. My Data usage for 1month has been consumed in one day and subscribe my google play account, for the android apps that I hadnt got knowledge. Please assist.. thank you.
