Having issues with Firefox chugging too much memory, I have 32GB of RAM and in Taskmanager, memory usage can get up to 60% having Firefox open, this is also becoming an issue while trying to use other software or playing games as I get errors that there isn't enough memory when Firefox is running.

I am visiting mymother who likes to eat in a local supermarket where they have a cafe. I paid for our meal using cash and I did not use the in store wifi and did not interact with any in store services.

I get back to my mothers apartment and open firefox to do some browsing, the first thing I see is a sponsored ad for the supermarket I have just been in.

So two questions, I understand that my phone number can become visible if I interact with a local service. But no interaction took place but they still worked out who I am and where I was. How was this done?

Secondly some financial interaction has presumably taken place between firefox and whoever controls the advertising for the supermarket. So they put out some kind of call to say "this guy has just been in our supermarket and we want to hit him with some linked content" and firefox have put up there hand and said "yep we got him right here, you pay us x and we will stick a link on his opening page"

So how does that work with firefox? so they say thay are a privacy web brower but they appear to have just sold me off to a supermarket?

I run a local web server from my desktop PC. As the person running it, I access it only from my desktop PC, and only my account has a password. (All other accounts must be created by me, and have very limited access.) When I log in, Firefox whinges that it's not running on https, which is not my fault, as I didn't write this server. I cannot change servers. How can I prevent Firefox whinging about my lack of a secure (despite being local only) connection?

So just as the title says there is an issue with the binance.us web site and the newest version of Firefox. when you try to type a number like 2.50 into any field the decimal disappears and you end up with 50 not 2.50 if you type 250 into the fields you can go back and add the decimal point so the entry is 2.50 but it's very annoying to have to do this every time.. the previous version of Firefox and all other prior versions did not have this issue

I use userChrome.css and userContent.css to (1) turn unvisited links bright red, and (2) turn visited links bright purple, and (3) add underlines to all links.

This works well on light backgrounds, makes links easy to see and easy to distinguish from other text, but makes them harder to see on pages with dark backgrounds.

Is there a way to vary the link color to improve contrast? I can't use the default colors because most sites use blue links which are hard to distinguish from black text.

In Opera recaptcha never comes up yet n Firefox it does. I do not use anything google. I hate google with a passion, yet Firefox is forcing it on us. I use www.rewardscentral.com.au for a few things, I log in to this website every morning. With Firefox I have to click on the recaptcha crap every single time, yet with Opera web browser I don't. I came to Firefox for a more "secure"browser, and yet you allow google crap to take over, how is this so secure? Google is the worlds biggest scammer. Please, give us a way to remove it and block it. Even for my search engine I use Startpage for better security.

Hello! When I set up my website restrictions on Mac Ventura (System Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Content Restrictions > Access to Web Content > Customize), Safari blocks my sites but Firefox does not.

From what I see (eg, this article ), Firefox should block the same sites. Am I wrong?

I appreciate your help!

I am having trouble with the ENO extension when I use Firefox. I click on the extension and it just spins and spins and spins. I have contacted Capital One about this at least six times. Every time I do I am told that it is working fine. I might be told to reboot, clear cache, etc. It might work once but then stops working.

When I use it on Chrome it always works fine. Every time. If I don't remember before I start a credit card transaction and use Firefox I end up when it is the time to use ENO and it does not work. Then I have to start over.

How can I get Capital One to put in some work on this? Can you help? I don't think ENO should be available for Firefox since it works so poorly.

Thanks

About a week ago I started having trouble downloading large high resolution photo files. I have been downloading these files for work for over a year and they have always load very quick. I would click on the file and the entire photo file would be there instantly. However, for the past week these file do not download or download very slowly. I have checked internet speed, which is 310. I can also switch browsers and have no problem downloading the same files. So its not my computer and it not the internet, so something has changed with Firefox. Can you help?? I have used Firefox for over 20 years and don't want to change browsers, but I have to work and this downloading is a problem.
