Since the Firefox update released 2 days ago (version 115.0.1) I'm constantly having an issue which causes the video to stop playing after the adverts. I eventually get a video unavailable message. I've cleared my cache but it's made no difference. I'm hoping that this is a known issue & that someone is investigating ?

I need to transfer my profile to a new computer (Win 10/11). Unfortunately, the guidance provided - find %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and copy it to a flashdrive - is inadequate.

This location has multiple files. Perhaps for a Firefox designer or programmer, that's not an issue. I'm neither. I need a precise list - with exact names - of the file or files that I need to copy.

Does a "profile" consist of one file or several files? Whichever the answer, what is/are the specific names of those files?

comcast xfinity website not accessible in Firefox, but is on every other browser - what happened? Can't pull anything up, email, TV listings, business Xfinity, etc. Just started this week.

I save all my passwords in Firefox. I have just synced my Firefox browser with Firefox on my IOS device into the Firefox IOS app. What do I need to do to get my passwords to appear when I want to log into the respective websites?

Hey every time i go to Facebook it keeps going super slow and continues to display the prompt bar where it says this page is slowing your browser down. to speed up your browser stop this page.... well its every single page. and this is happening to me on a couple of computers. I have cleared cache and cookies. I've turned off enhanced tracking. I've also tried opening in a private window and still the same thing.

I am disabled and have been using Dragon for writing and reading for more than 20 years. With the new update I cannot install the Dragon extension into Firefox and the longer. This means I will be no longer able to use Firefox as my web browser. This means I will be going to another editor! This is a shame because I've used Firefox even before it was Firefox! (Netscape)

My chrome extension is working fine and i want to make it compatible with Firefox as well. In the extension i have used eval method that is throwing error "EvalError: call to eval() blocked by CSP".

I also tried to add below configuration in the manifest 3 file but still getting the CSP issue. ('wasm-unsafe-eval' is also not working.)

I recently installed Firefox on my new laptop. During install I recall seeing a pop up for McAfee. I think I clicked that I didn't want it. After using Firefox for a little while, a McAfee pop up appeared about being on a dangerous site. (This is one that I have been on numerous times before and my preferred virus protection has not had an issue with it.) Does Firefox automatically install McAfee even when we don't want it? I searched through my apps and found a McAfee Webmaster app and uninstalled it. I have inadvertently had McAfee added on other computers and have had nothing but problems with it. If Firefox wants to associate itself with McAfee, I am having my doubts about what else is being added to my computer. Should I be concerned?

I have a few customers that use Firefox and the last month everyone has experienced an issue with tabs constantly crashing. Everyone is on the latest version and there really doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason.

I've tried: -Doing a clean install -FireFox refresh -Disabling Extensions (we only use uBlock Origin) -New Profiles

Not sure if this is normal but there's nothing in 'about:crashes' after it happens (i assumed because it's just tabs and not the browser itself).

These are all Windows 10 machines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Logins.csv appeared on my desktop after powering on PC. I did not export password data, file just showed up. Is this normal? Related to an update? Should I be concerned about a data breach?

I've tried the F9 Keyboard Shortcut, I've tried other Reader Add-Ons, this function simply doesn't work with Outlook. Either when in the Inbox, or with an opened Email. Anyone else encounter this?

Anyone know of a solution to making this work?

On a VERY side note: Here is my 1st initial text, when I believed the problem was about Firefox Add-Ons (I now have discovered it's not about the Add-Ons, it's the about the Reader View function). << When double-clicking on an Email, on the Outlook web site (https://outlook.office.com/mail/), the Email opens in a new window. When the new Window is opened, doesn't work.

When I click on Firefox's "Enhanced Tracking Protection" Icon and disable it, then the Extensions work. What's even weirder, is the behavior is the same for the REVERSE (if the Enhanced Protection is Disabled, the Keyboard Shortcut doesn't work until I "ENABLE" the Enhanced Protection).

Is there a setting in about:config that can return the functionality of Add-Ons (Extensions)?

On a side note, I found a setting to force the New Emails to Open in a new Tab instead of a new Window. The same bevaior is replicated, No improvement has been shown on that front. browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction = 0 >>

Been using firefox for 10 years to access xfinity/comcast email and suddenly can't do it. Keep getting error message "An error occurred during a connection to oauth.xfinity.com PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR". I've switched to Microsoft Edge for the time being but would appreciate getting back to Firefox if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I now have 115.0.3 and this problem still exists. It was reported right after 115.0.1 was released. When watching FreeVee on a Windows 10 desktop it stops a short while after an ad plays. It looks like it loses the ability to stream the main movie while streaming the ad. After the ad it plays about 20 seconds of the movie, probably what was in the buffer before the ad started, and then it freezes. I get the circle wait icon, like what typically happens when the Wifi goes down. After a while a message appears saying the Internet is not working. See attached image. Then I get the message (see other attached file) saying Video Unavailable. We're experiencing a problem playing this video. For assistance, please go to www.amazon.com/videohelp. Close Player.

On what port does the firefox extension update on does it use port 21? I need the extensions to be auto updating like set and forget knowing that my firewall is not blocking the required port

Hello. I am recovering data and files from an old Windows XP machine and have installed Firefox ESR browser. I can go online without problems but when trying to log into my account for Firefox Sync I get the error message " Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way".
