I just upgraded to windows 10 and have been restoring my computer to functional status. I have found that discord, tiktok and several other sites will not play videos on firefox. I have tried troubleshooting mode and private so i know it is across the board. I have also tried using addons to fix the problem to no avail.

The first post on the Facebook page will always display the timestamp, none of the remaining posts display the timestamp. The space for the timestamp is there and hovering the mouse over it will show the date and time (so the information is on the page, just not displaying). It is the same on different Facebook pages and using different Facebook accounts. I have checked my settings. I have cleared my caches, history, etc. I have restarted my computer many times. I have operated Firefox in troubleshooting mode, with extensions and add-ons disabled. I have done an anti-virus sweep with Kaspersky. This issue does not occur when I open Facebook in Microsoft Edge browser. I think this may have started approximately May 18 2023.

Recently I got a Mac computer and I installed Firefox in it. I can't find "About Firefox" in Application Menu.

How to show it in Application Menu like Windows and Linux?

I have downloaded Firefox 113.0.1 for Windows x64 but the file seems to be corrupt. When I check the installation file with 7Zip Test Archive appeared a Warning Message due to a Checksum error. All others versions of Firefox downloaded can be checked correctly by 7Zip, but this installation file show an error message that I never have received. Is there a problem with the file? Thanks

When I try to access my Etrade account the connection fails. Sometimes I can reach the log in page but cannot log on, Usually, I can't even access ETrade. I can log on using Microsoft Edge but not with Mozzilla,

Hello - Firefox to Safari bookmark syncing used to work seemlessly between pc and ipad. Noticed it's no longer working. I've done all the resetting/restarting/logging out/uninstalling/reinstalling recommended. It still won't sync. I ended up installing Firefox on the iPad to get the bookmarks from PC. That sync works (takes a while sometimes). But it will not ever update the IOS from the last time it worked (maybe 3 months ago). I can erase IOS bookmarks and reload from iCloud, but the files are months old.

Has this function just been removed?

Suddenly (last day or so) the timestamps on Facebook posts are missing (except on the first on the timeline). The data is there, you can hover over the location where the timestamp should be and the date and time will pop up. This still works as usual on Chrome, so I don't think it is a Facebook issue. When it happens: - Irregular frequence. The same websites once work once don't. They work with Chrom/Edge/From my mobile(same wifi/router). - Sometimes I have to refresh the page a few times - Happens for all sort of webistes. From local news, to GitHub/Youtube/Google/Any website

Steps I have taken: - Cleared cache/cookies - Reset PC/Firefox - Cleared all extensions - Deleted Firefox (And manually deleted all folders in AppData related to Firefox) and reinstalled afterwards

Nothing helped. Any idea what is going on? I checked Mozilla documentation for SSL issues, but it didn't help either

All of a sudden I need to click the bookmark this page star twice to get the drop down menu. I've cleared the cache, stopped hardware acceleration, & disabled addons in trouble shoot mode. No joy.

Firefox Mozilla keeps popping up on the side of my computer asking for payment and I know this isn't right but asking you if this is a Scam Alert or is Firefox really asking me for a payment

I go to youtube, open a video and the audio plays just fine, except there is no visual. The video says its playing and I can hear it normally but I can't see anything. Subtitles show up, but the place where the video is supposed to be is just blank, the same as the background of the page. Weirdly if I click the settings button on youtube, the one next to the sign in or account button, the video will display as long as that menu is up. If I close the menu the video goes away.

I have refreshed firefox, deleted and reinstalled firefox, removed all my extensions, turned hardware acceleration off (and then back on when it didn't work) as was recommended in a similar post a few years ago, and restarted my computer. Youtube still won't show me a video. It works fine on chrome, just not firefox.

I uploaded a screenshot of an ad, which doesn't play but shows the outline of the video player, a screenshot of a normal video where the area the video should be in is just more indistinct background, a screenshot of the video appearing normally when I have the settings menu open, and a screenshot of the captions loading properly over an empty void.

Edit: I installed the Enhancer for Youtube extension? Which I haven't ever installed beofre? And now Youtube works? Why

2nd Edit: Its broken again. I changed literally nothing, just restarted my computer for an update but im getting blank screens again

I've been using firefox for last 15 years now to do my online banking with RBC. As of 2 weeks ago it has failed to open online banking on the RBC website. Google chrome however works. When speaking to RBC customer support they say it is a problem with firefox and will likely go away once firefox updates to a newer version.

All 3 Deceptive Content and Dangerous Software Protection check boxes are light blue and can not be changed in my Firefox browser settings. I want to be able to uncheck these settings. How do I do that?

I was re-installing my wife's computer and needed access to her passwords - so logged out of my firefox account and into hers on my computer to access them. I then logged back out and when her computer was re-installed, logged into firefox with her account on her computer.

Her account on her computer now contains all of my data, and none of mine. How do I fix this and recover her data?
