Hi, HELP!! My browser keeps crashing on sites that I use on a daily. I use office 365 outlook, and teams. Its been getting worse and worse like crashes every 15-20 mins. I've sent the reports but I have not see a patch to fix the issues. Please help otherwise I have to go to another browser.

Here are the links to the sites I work online that keep crashing on the Firefox browser: https://acu.empirepro.com/AcumaticaERP/Frames/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fAcumaticaERP%2f https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox https://teams.microsoft.com/_#/conversations/19:175319c1-ef69-4f40-a21d-173c9a0afbad_8a69628f-f70f-4696-ae5e-430740483a19@unq.gbl.spaces?ctx=chat

FF 109.0.1 does NOT have that problem!

This problem is, most likely, seen in Denmark only, as MitID is a Danish security access.

I received an email with the following heading - Firefox Monitor You have unresolved breaches You have unresolved breaches. Your email has been exposed. Fix

Does this look legitimate. Is it something I need to be concerned about. Is Firefox sending such emails?

I am using Firefox 109.0.1(64-bit) in headless mode from the Command Prompt screen of Windows 10. From the Mozilla Firefox folder if I enter firefox.exe --headless --screenshot C:\Users\me\file1.png https://www.wikipedia.org I successfully store the screenshot as file1.png However, if I enter firefox.exe --headless --screenshot C:\Users\me\file2.png https://www.python.org I don't store any file nor do I get any error message If I enter (not using headless mode) firefox.exe https://www.python.org the Firefox screen is opened and the python.org page is displayed

Any ideas about why wikipedia.org works and python.org doesn't?

I use 4 rows of shortcuts pinned to the Firefox homepage. I modify each shortcut to best describe the url. Whenever I install Firefox on a different computer and sync the homepage, the shortcuts go back to the default descriptions and mix up the order in the 4 rows. How do I get the shortcuts to stay in the same order and with the same titles after I login for the first time and sync? When they are "unpinned" they go back to the default title and re-pinning them keeps them with the default title. I'd like to be able to re-title them, pin them and then have them show up that way on a new Firefox install when they are synced. Is it possible? Is my description too complicated to understand? I have looked for answers in help but unable to find anything

The default browser behavior when I click on a link on a page is to open a pop up window in the current tab. In these cases I'm clicking a link on the pg to my social media account in order to publish a new post linking to my own content.

The new unwanted behavior on clicking the link is for it to open my social media account in a new tab. I want clicking that link to open a pop up of my social media account in the current tab. Is there any about:config setting controlling this, which I can change?

I'm trying to clear my cache for Firefox, as my gmail is currently not fully loading content. I'm following the prompts in the Firefox menu, and it's telling me that I should click Firefox in the top bar and select Preferences, but Preferences is not one of the choices in the drop-down box, so I can't get to Clear Cache.

My firefox updated and all of my passwords are gone and I am logged out of all accounts. How can I recover them. None of my other saved mozilla profiles (in about:profiles) had the missing password data.

I have key and logins.json folders on my computer and I have most of my saved passwords on a mozilla firefox account on my ipad. It's the same login profile but they are not sync'd and I am afraid sync-ing will delete the passwords.

How can I get the json passwords or the ipad passwords onto my most updated version of firefox?

I use FireFox with Windows 10.

Recently I had a website that would not allow me to pay no matter what. Their Techs had me do EVERYTHING - - including deleting and changing all kinds of settings. Still nothing worked. (I don't even know how to get back normal settings, but I don't trust anyone and have all kinds of permissions turned off). Then they told me it was a problem with their website. This process took over 6 hours speaking with many multiple morons worldwide.

Now, another website will not function normally - it says SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE.

How can I fix this?

I already emailed and told them to renew their certificate.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm searching for a method to download video files that are formatted as a .mov files without changing the file format. Firefox browser 109.0 running on a Windows 10 PC modifies the files from .mov to .mp4 when saving the files on the PC from a cloud file storage website. Other browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge handle the file download without changing the file extension from .mov to .mp4. How to I alter the settings within FireFox to maintain the original .mov file extension?

The new Mozilla Firefox (version 110.0) does not run after update on my system. After run it shows the window, but this window doesn't respond. The clean installation (of course with profile folder erase) doesn't fix the problem. I have tried both x64 and x86 versions.

The previous version installation (109.0.1) works fine.

There are some screenshots included. I use Windows 7 on Ryzen 7 2700X processor. Could you please advice, what can be done here?

So I just updated to version 109.0 of Firefox, and I spotted something new in the thing. I see something called 'extensions' right next to the icon for open applications menu. I tried to drag this into the list of things you could hide in the customize toolbar section and there seems to be no way to remove it via right click either. Can someone help here?

I'm including an image of the icon in a screenshot, with a red box indicating the icon/tab/whatever in question.

This is what my environment looks like: I am using Firefox (version 109.0) on Ubuntu (version 22.04.1). I installed the 1password extension for Firefox (version 2.5.1). I have allowed the 1Password extension to "Run in Private Windows" (from the Firefox Add-ons Manager).

Description of my issue: In Firefox, there is a Privacy&Security setting that allows you to "Always use private browsing mode". When this setting is enabled, the 1Password extension does not work at all (even if I allowed it to run in private windows). That is, every time I click on the 1Password icon in my browser, an empty browser tab shows up, and nothing more. Instead, if I disable that setting, the extension works correctly.
