Hello, I'm unable to access my Firefox logins. I followed some of the advice on here and discovered that my login files appear to be corrupted (logins.json.corrupt). I tried some of the suggested methods, but I can't re-establish access to my logins.

I'm not sure if this is related, but when I click on the Applications menu, though my profile is there, it says "Account disconnected" next to a warning sign.

Please help... I've been saving my passwords and logins here for years. Any advice welcome. Many thanks in advance.

PS... yes, I know I should have backed them up somewhere, I'll never repeat this mistake.

I was tracking a package on the UPS website. I decided to sign up for their My Choice program. After I did that I could no longer track packages I just get the error "We are unable to complete your tracking request at this time. Please try again later.". I contacted them, UPS, and they had me try several things and the only one that would work is to use Chrome. Fire Fox will work if I use a private window. Whew do I go to fix this?

Hello, I was trying to fix this issue on my browser but I was not able to do it. The OS is Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS 64-bit. Currently, I'm using Firefox version 99.0a1 but I had the same issue on version 97. Also, I have this issue on only one of my PCs. As I said in the subject: - The browser freezes the whole PC and I have to force reboot it. (I already disabled the hardware acceleration) - the recent download item open button does not trigger the opening of the folder. - If I try to download a file, the browser ask me where to save it. But if I try to download another one the browser shows me the directory with path /run/usr/1000/... I tried to delete places.sqlite but I received the same result. ... I don't want the pdf to save to disk without my will when I open a pdf file from any website. Fire Fox saves the file first, then opens it for reading. How to change it? I want to read the pdf first and then decide what to do with it. This works similarly in Edge. FF is my main browser, I wouldn't want to change that, but I have too much garbage on my disk. every pdf is saved first, completely unnecessary.

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

I have used Firefox for years with my MSN/Outlook emails. Recently, something has changed that has caused typing emails to a nightmare. As I am typing the "system" is constantly suggesting text and I do not know how to remove that feature. Each time this happens I have to stop and either hit the tab key or fiddle around with the space bar to get past this problem and continue typing what I want to write. Also, as I am replying to an email, the "system" occasionally opens another email document and at the same time moves the email I am trying to respond to. It moves the email, not to trash, but to Archive. I never use the archive feature. How do I fix these problems. Something has obviously gotten changed in "settings" but I cannot figure out where or how to fix. The "suggested text" feature is disasterous and annoying and it has got to be removed somehow. Please help.

I want to be able to preview pdfs in firefox in a new tab without first downloading the file like it used to. But this version (99) of firefox won't allow me to do that. I tried selecting the "action" for pdfs in the applications section of settings to "open in firefox". What it does is preview the pdfs without downloading indeed but it previews it in the SAME tab which makes browsing more difficult. If I select "always ask", and then select "open with firefox" in the dialogue box, it opens the pdf to a new tab alright but it downloads the file FIRST. Is there a way around this please?

I have searched for this answer and can't find it, so I am hoping that it isn't here already and I just can't find it because of the way I am asking in the search box.......I would like to unsubscribe from an e-mail newsletter I am getting, but there is no "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the e-mail like there is on most of them I do receive. Is there a way in the Moz://a web site that this can be done? I am using a "mask" e-mail address and have done an unsubscribe with a different e-mail newsletter, but this one, I am not able to do just a simple "Unsubscribe".

On an IPAD, when I do the identical search on Firefox and Safari, on Safari, the results contain many stores with each store containing many small images. While the stores display for both, on Safari the images do display, but on Firefox, the results do not display the images. The blank spaces where the images would go are visible, but no images occupy those spaces. An example would be to search for 'scooters'. No such glitch happens using Firefox on macbook air

When I try to log into chase.com, I'm told my (FireFox) browser is out of date, but I am running the latest version. What can I do?

Today I tried to place an online order to pickup from Texas Roadhouse, but no matter what time I chose a message said it was not available. The only selection that worked was "Earliest Available Time". Finally I called to place an order. Firefox worked 2 months ago but I don't recall which version I was using at the time.

Today I was using FF vers 97.x and later updated to vers 99.0.1 figuring that might be the problem, but it made no difference.

Later I tried Windows 10 Edge & that worked. Then tried a Chromebook & that also worked.

I've also had problems going to the Tracfone website & so have several other people. It's hit or miss with Firefox & usually it doesn't work. But Chrome or Edge seem to work for everyone.

Is this a website problem or a FF problem?

I subscribe to the Times.co.uk but past few days am unable to navigate on the website eg if I press 'show more on the web page' nothing happens. `It does work however if I access using my Safari browser, so clearly not a 'Times' issue

Recently upgraded to a new Macbook and added the latest version of Firefox. For some reason, I am unable to upload or attach files on any website. This includes things like adding attachments to Gmail messages, uploading photos to Facebook, or uploading media to my Wordpress site. There is no error message or pop-up box -- when I click "attach" or "upload" absolutely nothing happens.

The same files upload without issue via Safari or by using Firefox on my older Macbook, so it's not a file-specific or website-specific issue.

How can I correct this? I like using Firefox as my default browser, and it's annoying to have to switch over to Safari every time I want to upload a file. I've searched older posts here, but the suggested fixes (restarting your computer, making sure location services are enabled) do not do anything.
