I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I don't know what happened. Firefox totally changed its look on me. It seemed it wiped out everything, as if I was a new user. I did a refresh not thinking what it was so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. But this is NOT the FF I've always used. It looks like Chrome!

Luckily, I had written down my settings, preferences, add ons and even changes I made to about:config settings. But for some reason, FF is not accessing web sites. It just keeps spinning and nothing is happening (but this message board page is working for some reason).

What the heck happened?

Before I refreshed Firefox, I always had a blank Yahoo! search bar at the top of any page. It was very useful but it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. Can someone help me with this?

I've used the Autofill addresses feature since discovering it a few years ago. It is/was a great feature.

I maintain only one Autofill address. With the exception of having to correct a typo I made, this single address is the only address I've ever put on file.

I do not and have never maintained any credit card info in the Autofill credit card feature.

At some point in the past year (to 2 years (estimate)), the Autofill address has stopped populating my street address, city, state, zip code and phone number. It seems to be brilliant at populating my name and email address on a web form, but that's where the brilliance ends.

If the form has a second email address field to verify the first email address field, the second email address field is not populated. I realize this non-occurrence might be a feature of the the Autofill feature, but there's no way to tell based on the documentation provided.

Could someone PLEASE take a look at the problem?

I accidently hit a few keys and afterwards Firefox started to mark the sections yellow and speaks everything I do or the text i click. I just appears on the one website, the one I was as i pressed the keys. I thinks its a feature from Firefox, because the windows voice assistant is deactivated.

In the image you can see the title marked yellow, I clicked it and a female voice speaks it or when i click a section they say "section landmark"

When I go to Target.com and click on the search box to search for an item, Firefox isn't letting me enter any text! It's like the search box doesn't exist. Why can't I enter text here?

I'm on Mac running Ventura 13.3.1 and the latest Firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit)

Cannot open Spectrum.net, getting a message that reads:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to www.spectrum.net.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Have never had this problem before. Tried changing to allow set cookies instead of default but didn't work

Clear history tab is not displaying properly (right side cut short) after opening a few amazon pages and then trying to clear history. It shows the full clear history window if firefox is restarted.

I attempted to load a video from Anaconda and got the following error: "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 104153)" My search of the web was not fruitful. There was a rather broad suggestion to try another browser. For the first time in MANY years i downloaded Microsoft Edge. I could then open the video from Anaconda. A couple of years ago I went from Windows to Linux because I did not like the access that Microsoft had inside my computer. I would REALLY like to uninstall Edge and go back to Firefox. Is there a way to permanently disable red underlining from Firefox spell check? This has only started occurring since an update to Firefox 110 (now on 112), but there seems to be no way to make it go away. I've unchecked the spelling box in preferences, and killed off things in about:config:

extensions.spellcheck.inline.max-misspellings 0 layout.spellcheckDefault 0 services.sync.prefs.sync.layout.spellcheckDefault false services.sync.prefs.sync.spellchecker.dictionary false

I'm using Mac Monterey, and have the global spell check turned off for that. This seems to be a problem specific to Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Chrome (spellcheck off) or Safari. I'd like to remove this entirely, since it's distracting to have it second guessing me whenever I'm typing. The main reason I use Firefox is that it gives me the ability to control many things, particularly in combination with UBlock, but I'm unable to make any progress in removing this persistent work disruption.

a few web sites refuse to work with Firefox so I up dated the application. But now some of my bookmarks disappear and I would like also the bookmarks to open on the left side of the scree as before . Please don't force me to go to windows Edge or Google Chromes which I'm force to use at the moment as three web site including my bank refuse to work under Firefox platform. Thank you

I have been trying to use the option to sync passwords from Chrome and it will not work. I have a csv file of my passwords, but it seems you have disabled that option. Please advise.
