This is driving me absolutely bonkers. Whether I'm trying to open a new tab, going through my emails or clicking on a link these boxes keep popping up. How do I remove this and stop it from happening? Please see attached.

I absolutely need to know who. Who hacked. Keep getting run around. Suggest dark web for someone to find out? Extremely important my pysical safety is at risk. I found a install I did not do.

Hi. I'm trying to surf to a website and I think I'm running into problems with HTTP versions.

The site is taliadinapoli.com. They sell pizza. When I try to get there from my computer (Windows 10, FF 108.0.2 64 bit) I get an HTTP 511 error. In fact, all the computers in my house - my wife's Mac and our tablets - get the error.

So I assumed it had something to do with my ISP.

But then I opened a virtual machine (Windows 7, FF 108.0.2 32 bit) and went to the site and it loaded fine. So it's not my ISP; it's something else.

I opened the developer tools and looked at the headers for the initial requests. The only difference I saw was that on my PC, where I get the 511 error, the header specifies HTTP 1.1. In the virtual machine, where the site loads, the header specifies HTTP 3.

So on my PC, in FF, I changed network.http.version to 3. That didn't help: the GET is still using 1.1 and getting a 511 error.

Then I looked at FF on my VM and saw that its network.http.version was also set to 1.1. And yet it's using HTTP 3 to access the site!

What's going on? How do I get FF to use HTTP 3?

I have a shiny new PC, and when I installed firefox I assumed it would return my favourites, extensins etc but so far it hasnt. Is there a way to force it

Back when I used Chrome, there used to be an option when you could right-click a word and get an option in the context menu to "look up". In Firefox this doesn't seem to be the case. Is there a way to enable this? I've also included screenshots of the feature working in Chrome.

In my 'Settings' it says: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." What??? What organization? How can I find out who this is? and how can I get rid of this 'managing organization'? I want to clear this statement from my account.

I recently installed windows on a new solid state hard drive, and did a fresh install of firefox, but I forgot to manually backup my bookmarks. The old install is still on the old windows hard drive, is there a way for me to move them onto the new install? I'd prefer to not have to rebuild the whole list from scratch!

Every day when I sign in to Firefox I receive this email message, and I don't know why. I have been signing into Firefox for a few years. I don't remember when this started and I'm not sure if this is just your way of authenticating that I am me or not. Please explain this email I receive from accounts@firefox.com. I have changed my password many times so that can't be it, at least I don't think that's it.

How can I add a webpage shortcut to the FireFox home page in Windows 10? I just want to simply add a shortcut to a webpage that is currently not on the home page, in spite of having visited it several times. since the automatic adding of visited sites is not consistent (some sites do not show up on the home page no matter how often I visit them while others that I have visited once act like they are pinned, but they are not), I need to be able to add a website shortcut manually, and none of the help articles that I have found successfully do that. at least in my current version of Firefox, which is version 108.0.2 (64-bit).

Today I was adding Firefox to my Mac, as I want to get rid of Safari. (I already was using Firefox on my Surface laptop, and have stopped using Edge). But I must have pressed the wrong button; after I installed Firefox on my Mac, I wanted to import the bookmarks I have been using from Firefox on the other laptop. Instead, I somehow imported the Safari bookmarks to Firefox--I didn't want those! Then I went to the Surface laptop, and when I pulled up Firefox (I was signed in already from yesterday) it had also changed all my bookmarks to the Safari version---oh noooooo! Is there a way I can reverse everything and go back to the earlier version of Firefox with the bookmarks I want to use--not the ones from Safari? I am not going to touch anything else--afraid to make it worse! Thank you.

I now have two Firefox apps downloaded and I'm not sure what to do. Please see the one I have attached since it has a completely different name: Windows MSIX Package Mozilla MSIX 1.0 The other app has the usual information such as Version, which is the same as the image I uploaded for you. The only difference between the two is Windows MSIX Package Mozilla MSIX 1.0 is excluded from the second Mozilla Firefox app.

The first one I downloaded was with the Windows app. through the Windows Store.

Now, what do I do? Obviously, I need to delete one of these and I don't know which one to delete or where to find these files.

Also, when I unpin the app from the taskbar both app icons come back.

Hi! Since this week, the visualization of some fonts seems transferring in kind of Greek font, as in the screen capture. I checked the advances options concerning Firefox fonts. Everything seems basically configured and the option «Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above» is chequed. Firefox updated 108 System Mac OS 13.0.1 Thanks for help. G

Firefox hangs for 5 seconds between every type of download between the "Ok" of the "Save As.." dialog and the actual download of the file.

Any ideas how to resolve the issue or troubleshooting tips?

I'm currently using Firefox 108.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Pro 22H2

The scrolling speed in Bookmarks folders when hovering over top or bottom of list is too fast. When trying to drag a new bookmark to a Sub-folder in the Bookmarks Toolbar, and you need to scroll down in the list of folders, you hover over the bottom of the displayed drop-down. But it scrolls so fast that you go past the folder you are trying to drag n drop the new bookmark into. So you hover over the top of the list and it scrolls up so fast that again, you go past the folder you are looking for. Is there any way to control this scrolling speed? It's my only gripe about the BEST BROWSER. I have thousands of Bookmarks and hundreds of Folders. PLEASE HELP Thanks Regards
