Someone with Firefox did something to lock out e-filing system in Texas and I had to use another browser.

Inconvenient and this should not have occurred, now I have to use a different browser.

Please fix this problem so that I can continue using Firefox to be able to file legal docs in e-file system in Texas.

That website is https:/efile.txcourts.gov

Please let me know when you fix this issue?

Hello, Firefox friends!

I'm having some issues with Firefox on my Ubuntu system and I'm really hoping someone can help me fix them.

   Problem with Downloads: When I try to download something and click on a link, a new tab opens. But then it immediately closes and nothing downloads.
   Button Issues: Some buttons within Firefox just don't seem to work.

I've tried a few things already:

   Checked for Firefox and Ubuntu updates
   Ran Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode
   No antivirus because I'm on Ubuntu

If anyone has faced similar issues or knows how to fix this, please help!

Firefox seems to be interfering with the Windows key and VMWare

Starting on 8/21, whenever Firefox is running I've noticed the following: The OS no longer detects the Windows key. Pressing the key does not bring up the Start menu… (funda kabanzi)

Starting on 8/21, whenever Firefox is running I've noticed the following:

  • The OS no longer detects the Windows key. Pressing the key does not bring up the Start menu, Pressing Win-D does not minimize the windows to the desktop, Win-Tab does not bring up the task switcher, etc. This is true for the built-in keyboard, the on-screen keyboard, and an external USB keyboard.
  • VMWare Workstation is unable to Power-on Suspended or Powered-Down virtual machines. A dialog pops up simply stating "Failed to power on . . ." and listing the .vmx file. If I already have a VM running when I start Firefox, Workstation behaves normally, and also registers the press of the Windows key, even though the host OS ignores it.

I've restarted multiple times; the problem persists.

The problem begins about 15 -- 30 s after Firefox starts, and stops about 10 -- 15 s after Firefox closes.

The system exhibited similar behavior with the Obsidian notetaking program. I uninstalled and reinstalled Obsidian, and it stopped for a little while, but it's back to showing the same behavior.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox (restarting between).

I'm running Windows 11 Home (22H2) on an HP laptop w/ 64 GB RAM. Firefox V116.0.3. VMWare Workstation 16 Pro (16.2.5 build-20904516).

Today I was going to forward spam to reporting places. One must open View raw message. It would not open; Seemed rather proud of the fact that it had blocked a website from opening something.

Brings me to my point: I have never understood the need to open View raw message, go to that new tab, control A, control C, go back to the tab with the email opened, click forward, control V.

I believe that IF ONE CLICKS FORWARD, all of that should be automatically done. Forward SURE IT IS USED FOR MANY OTHER REASONS OUTSIDE OF REPORTING OF SPAM. However SHOULDN'T YOU BE HELPING OUT WITH THE REPORTING OF SPAM?

LastPass installed but disappeared from menu bar

Loading sites on startup.

In this website, written in markdown if I'm getting this right, the equations are not displaying in my browser.

My browser is displaying corretly all the examples in the other questions on math rendering, and also in similar books (here, here).

I've deleted cookies and cache, disabled extentions/adblocker, tried safe mode, without any change.

I have the same problem with all Edge and Chrome too and even on another computer. I thought the problem was in the website but the equations are rendering fine when I test them on https://www.browserling.com/.

Keeping zoom levels I set on tabs between sessions.

Modifying the zoom works. In THIS session.

Alas I am wanting this to continue in future sessions also. As is (now) I have to go to those tabs (luckily only 3) and zoom them to 133% to get the layouts correct.

Is there a way to make that zoom constant for THAT (those) tabs?

Hi, I'm using 116.0.3 (64-bit) Firefox, everything works perfectly except it takes so much time to start to load a page. For example, if I'm entering Google homepage it takes about 6-10 seconds just to start loading and then loads very quickly the page. Sometimes it does load it normally and very quickly but is not often. I love Firefox and I don't want to replace it, in Chrome it works fine. Please help me to find a solution. The problem started about 2-3 weeks ago. Thank you very much!

This is what I tried: -Using Safe Mode and Troubleshoot mode didn't change anything - Removing all the extensions - Deleting history, cache and cookies (using JV16 or PrivaZer or built in Firefox settings) - Refreshing Firefox - Deleting with JV16 to remove everything that is related to Firefox and reinstalling from the official site. - Disabling Hardware Acceleration - Disabling DNS Prefetch - Changing DNS (1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 or default by supplier) - Using custom config settings following this guide: ("Make Firefox fast again")

Hi, i'm using firefox since many years and would like to continue doing so. Unfortunately I'm experiencing a big issue with the browser on my new windows pc which other browsers don't have and I would be very grateful if you'd help me solve them

The problem is that Google pages often don't load (for about a minute) Once every hour I have to research on google or other google-related websites such as Youtube, google docs, maps, etc. for work and very often they appear offline. After about a minute of refreshing the page, they work again (note: this is no internet connection issue: the same pages work on other browsers such as chrome and I even switched to another internet provider hoping to solve the problem, without any improvement)

Did somebody solve the same problem or is capable of helping me?

Things i already tried: cancelling cookies, deleting addons, re-installing firefox

Most of the videos I watch on Youtube play normally, without any problems, but some play choppy, as if they lag, this is very rare on YouTube, for example, a couple of days ago I opened a video, it's choppy, and now I opened it, it's going fine, when I open a private window and go to a very well-known site, all videos without exception lag

The last 2 characters are cut off at the end of my line in Quickbooks. They are not cut off in Chrome.

Some sites (like Papa John's pizza) try to take you to a different place after making selections and clicking on "place order." Firefox just stalls. What settings or add-ons could be causing the problem. Both Edge and Chrome work fine.

This machine, my laptop and droid have separate gmail accounts. The other win 10 pc has a different email Here is the error: An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Background info: Google issued a notice that it was removing unused gmail addresses, but ALL OF MINE ARE IN USE. I am getting the same message on my other win10 pc today.

I am writing to inquiry about bookmarks. I have hundreds of bookmarks, if not thousands with many folders, which I have saved over the last decade. I have always synced my account and it should all be there upon downloading a new firefox on my new computer. However, the HTML file that it is asking me to upload from is not a file I am able to find in by backups, time machine, or anywhere else. It is also not in my account after I sign in. I have spent nearly 10 hours trying to figure this out. I have read all your articles and went through the steps of about:profiles. ALL my bookmarks should have been synced and saved. I have firefox in my Time-machine backup also. But none of the library files populates the bookmarks.

It would be a huge harm to my research career if I am unable to restore my bookmarks. I have trusted and used Firefox for a long time. Please assist me in obtaining these bookmarks in my browser.
