I used to use Firefox about 19 years or more The last two years..... FireFox was enable the auto-translate of Youtube videos in Arabic language automatically ........ Then it stopped working since four months

I thought that the "Improve Youtube extension" was the reason. I contacted the developer and said:

Its misunderstanding of the feature :( afaik as is today Improve Youtube will use the subtitle language to switch on CC if its provided in this language by video author, it doesnt switch auto-translate. Ill look into making it enable auto-translate if requested CC is missing.

Today I noticed that all videos have Arabic CC ..... Mmm, the feature has returned to work again! without any interference from me In order... to make sure the reason...... I disable all my FireFox extensions, and it is surprising that the automatic translation is still working and I recorded a video to see for yourself how to work directly once you enter the video

In your opinion, what is the explanation for that?

I know that YouTube has options for displaying / enable auto-translate always ... but it is only for the English language .... I am talking about the translation of the Arabic language in all videos Sooooo A feature from YouTube itself or what? And if it was, why did it stop in the past four months, and now it has returned to work?

This problem is getting worse all the time. Seems like each upgrade it gets worse. I shut down FF expecting it to restore all the tabs when restarting. But... Gone. Currently Mac OS 13.3.1 (22E261) FF Version: 113.0.1 (64-bit)

I found the use of using right-click on images to get a general menu, and the middle-clicking on "Open image in new tab" a boon, because it would often enlarge the images and make them easier for me to see.

In the past two days, suddenly this has become a hit or miss situation and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I can middle-click on "open image in a new tab" multiple times and get no response. Other times if I hold down for a while and then release, it will open the image. And then other times again it will work as intended.

I'm not quite sure why this issue has suddenly occured.

Firefox is up to date, Version 113.0.2 (64-bit). My mouse is a KLIM Blaze, drivers 3.1 which again seem to be up to date. My middle-click in new-tab is set to true in firefox's config.

Does anyone know why these issues are happening?

I see in the blog the roboform extension does not work with Firefox for many users. It errors that it only works in a browser. Why can't Roboform see or associate the connection when Firefox browser is in use. If it is in use, then Roboform should work. Is it a Firefox problem or a roboform problem? Between both of you surely someone can resolve this problem? It seems Roboform has washed their hands of the problem because they reply with a standard enable process that doesn't work for many people. I am on my 2nd new computer and still have the same problem. Again the error states it only works when the browser is in use. If the browser is in use, then what is the problem? thanks for any assistance you can provide.... I like Firefox and Roboform, it would be a blessing to have both working at the same time. Hello. I run Firefox as my main laptop (Mac) browser. I have added Zotero to manage my writing reference citation library, and have downloaded the current Zotero Connector for Firefox. I should be able to add references from online, by using the Zotero save icon that should appear on my Firefox toolbar. But this icon is nowhere to be seen and I cannot see how to make it appear. The whole advantage of Zotero for me as a writing academic is pinned to this function, so I am anxious to get it working. How can I get the Zotero save icon in its proper place on my Firefox toolbar, just to the right of the search window? Many thanks

I recently upgraded my iMac to Ventura and it no longer recognizes cmd+shift+v as Paste and Match Style/Paste as Plain Text. I want to change the keyboard shortcut for that in Firefox to be ctrl+shift+v, but that option does not exist in the Edit menu of Firefox and thus my change in System Preferences does not work. Do you know how I'm able to change the keyboard shortcut for this?

Before I got new installation of Firefox (after crash) the start page had correct favicons automatically for every favorite webside button. But now in version 113.0.1 most favicons are wrong and I don't know how to reset them. Please help.

My Firefox Home Page was perfect until I accidentally hit the Home icon or Most Visited. I had the Tab Page with one row probably with default colors. If I manage to get the New Tab Page back, it doesn't stay. It doesn't have an icon for Home. I can't get that page back. If I exit, it goes back to one of the support pages. I have done a reset Firefox from the Control Panel but that just goes thru the set up pages again. I am afraid to delete and reinstall because I don't know what will happen to all my data.
