Leaving position, must turn in laptop without added programs. Must completely remove Firefox. Is there more to it than removing Firefox from the Applications folder?

The Yahoo toolbar simply appeared at start up the other day. I don't want it, won't use it, and want to get rid of it. The two suggestions on your Help didn't relate: Click on the "Pencil Menu"--what and where is that? Can't find anything that remotely appears to be a Pencil Menu. 2nd: Go to Tools, click on Extension--no such thing on my Tools menu anywhere.

Real help, please!

I have looked in \AppData\ for cached images. I took a printscreen image then cropped it, and I need the original to help a software company find a glaring error in their programming. Normally Windows puts temporary images into the \TEMP\ directory, but it's empty and I have not cleared the cache nor deleted files. Where can I look?

I am having problem to open the website Gmail.com. I am getting this message when i try to open gmail.com.

I am using a new laptop and want to export my whole browsing history inc. bookmarks, cookies etc from the old one to the new. Can this be done? I am using Firefox 4 and Windows 7, but am no longer able to connect to the internet on the old one.

I have Ubuntu 11.04 and an old version of Firefox. I want to update to Firefox 24 but do not know how. When I download the update .zip file it still does not update. Can anyone help?

I think some that suggest superfish or surf canyon do not install anything unless you agree is complete nonsense. I think the work for these scam sites and trying to pull your leg. I searched all of my computer and did not find either one of them anywhere. I never allowed any software to install unless I have researched what or who they are and what good they do for me. But nevertheless I got this vicious software interfering with my search on every shopping site I was on. God knows what information they got. Imagine they are on the sites where you buy stuff and enter you passwords, credit card numbers, your address and phone numbers etc. Scary uh!!!. If this company is legitimate why dont they show up in you programs as superfish since their address is superfish.com? Why is there no easy way to uninstall this like real programs? Sorry but I think these scams need to be stopped and rooted out. Superfish: If you are legitimate show up on our computer as one! Dont sneakup and install your scamware in our computers. Please post removal instructions!

I currently run a CRM application and we have always supported it only for Firefox. With the new feature, in Firefox 4, that gives the end user the ability to stop the page from creating dialogs, it has pretty much broken the application if a user checks this feature. One issue I have run into is, when an alert is needed to inform a user that they need to do something specific before they can complete a task, it does not alert them and they think the system is bugged because it is automatically assumed as OK and they never see the info. My question boils down to, is there something in the about:config that we can set up in our corporate login files that can be disabled for this?

I have just upgraded from Firefox 3.6.x to Firefox 4. I had assumed that the new version would use the same settings as the previous one but it doesn't

The previous one always asked if I wante tabs saving when I closed it but this version (4) does not.

Is there a way of making it ask?
