I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Hi there, Can anyone help me please. Ive been using Firefox forever and yesterday I signed into a Gmail account to send an email to someone, I typed in who it was to, then subject and then when I went to type into the body of text, the keyboard wont work.

I thought there was an issue with the keyboard but I then I tried to type in issues on firfox and loads of text is missing, I basically cant use firefox at the moment as Im only viewing half the info.

Ive been sent a credit not from someone and this is what its viewing like.

I didnt change anything that Im aware of

I don’t understand what Firefox is doing. For example, I used to start typing the first few letters of “weather.com”, which I visit pretty much daily, and it would auto fill “weather.com”. Now it auto fills every time with http://www.weatherbase.com/. I don’t know where that came from. Similarly, I used to type the first few letters of “duckduckgo.com” and it would bring up “duckduckgo.com”. Now it brings up a magnifying glass below the url with “Search with duckduckgo”. I am thinking it might be best if I can start over, i.e. clear out any information it’s saved about where it thinks I want to go, and start remembering the sites I am entering now.

Zainstalowałem sobie przeglądarkę Firefox. Importowałem z Google Chrome dane, w tym historię. Historia stamtąd była z dobrych kilku miesięcy.

Gdy wchodzę w historię, z opcji mogę widzieć historię maksymalnie z ostatnich 7 dni, miałem opcje oglądania historii z ostatniego miesiąca, co było po zainstalowaniu przeglądarki. A chciałbym mieć opcję obejrzenia z co najmniej pół roku.

W poniższym poradniku można widzieć historię z dłużej niż pół roku i właśnie tak chciałbym mieć u siebie.

Recently my home page is blank. Each new tab opens as blank, bookmark icons are missing. I used to have a search engine when i opened Mozilla but now it's totally blank. I need to click on the bookmarks icon to open the list of bookmarks saved instead of seeing them on the toolbar. I didn't change anything and now it's all gone. I have uploaded a screenshot of my screen when I open Mozilla.

I have an issue when i download a .docx file and want to open it straight from dowloads it automatically opens the file in Acrobat Reader. Is there a setting that would let me change that? My default apps in windows setting are setup correctly and it also shows the correct icon in the dowloads list. I use Office365.

When using some websites that ask for browser permission to use your location, the location is wrong.

I recently moved more than 2000 miles, and when I use Google Maps in Firefox on my Windows laptop, its "current location" (as in, the blue dot that appears once I give Google Maps permission to use my location) is always at my old address rather than my new one.

After some digging, I discovered https://mylocation.org/, which was very helpful in that it informed me of two different types of location lookup. One of them, based on my IP address, works like a charm and shows me at my new address. The other, called "Browser Geolocation", shows my old address. And I've confirmed that this information varies from browser to browser: Firefox is wrong, Chrome is correct, Edge is correct, Brave is wrong.

This must mean that the browser stores some kind of information somehow about my location, right? How do I update this so that it matches the public IP address location?

I was injured and in the hospital a long period. my phone number was changed by my daughter from [telephone number] to [telephone number] my email changed because cable one closed all their accounts. It now is [email address]. Now I cannot log into my facebook account no matter what I do. It is the way I get in touch with my friends and relatives. What happened to my account? After updating to the current version of my OS(listed below) I can no longer drag a tab to detach it from the firefox window. Doing so drags a preview of the tab, but it is never separated from the current window. I can drag it to an already existing window to move tabs from one window to another, but not to create a new window from a single tab.

Despite changing the settings and saving them to the cloud. Firefox keeps resetting to Canada as my default country. How can I change this since I live in the UK. I do not use a VPN for Canada.

I just updated Firefox & added recommended things. I went to "https://www.cranecu.org/" As soon as I hit the LogIn button I got an "Error 404" message. However, I called the office help & they suggested I try another browser. I switched to Safari the button works just fine. Any Suggestions? I am not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to computers so please be simple. Thank You

After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated
