I keep getting 'Gah. Your tab just cashed' notices for nearly all my tabs and also Youtube keeps buffering and finally just goes black. I used trouble shooting modebut that didn't help

I've just now noticed the Threading automatic default grouping/marking of messages, and it is appalling. Thunderbird/Mozilla either needs to eliminate this (with appropriate warning notices, perhaps) or at least give us the ability to NOT link various messages. It's not only vastly annoying, it can cause severe real-world problems if anyone not in the CC or BCC fields is receiving these messages that were not intended for them.

I suppose for now, the only way to NOT link things that were never meant to be would be to change the Subject when discussing important topics.

Either that, or get a whole new mail service, which I'd prefer not to have to do.

Is there a way to export tabs to a PDF file? I need to rebuild my PC and am backing up everything. I have a ton of tabs open. Can I export them somehow so I can import them after I have reinstalled Firefox?

I've searched but what I find doesn't match what I see in my browser as far as menus, etc.

Hey folks... I am running the latest ESR version for windows 7. I know, its limited support and stuff but I have this most annoying problem that just doesn't seem to want to go away.

Every day, several times a day, I am told there is an update available. I have gone in several times and downloaded and installed the latest release. The install goes fine, there are no issues. Yet, over and over again I am told there is an update... but I have the latest version installed.

In the past, I have used the "distribution" folder trick to stop updates and I have removed that a long time ago. I can't figure out why it keeps telling me there are updates, when there are none.

How can I stop this from doing updates where there are no updates to get? It's driving me nuts...

I have one site that produces PDF files that Firefox will not open correctly, my other browsers do not have a problem with PDF. What should I be looking for to correct.

The Firefox browser now displays the website "chaturbate.com in an Asian language, appears to be Korean, since updating the browser. It should display in English. How can I change this? Thank you.

Currently running 115.4.0esr, 64 bit... I have auto updates disabled via the json policy, yet every day I keep getting the warning about an update required and must go to download it... How can I disable the warning? It is annoying.

As well, while here in the forums, I did the "about firefox" thing to get the version and despite my settings, FF downloaded an update and wants me to restart to install it... what if I dont want it?

I get that you folks want to make things .... right... but there have been many changes that I am not fond of. Please respect my privacy and let me update by my own choice.

What CSS code refers to the shield, padlock, permissions, or all other toolbar buttons in the address bar?

When using control to select multiple tabs, what code refers to the outline and text color of the tabs?

I'm still using windows professional 7, it works for the most part. Unfortunately often the browser won't load or it will load and runs very slowly, then it shows a box saying close previous firefox. When it is running slowly I often have to hit the browser many times until the box shows up saying close previous firefox. Is this something to do with windows 7 or another completely different issue.

FireFox has been crashing for the past few weeks, that is not the biggest problem, but it also does that during a restore session. Which makes me lose everything I've been doing, the simplest solution I've found is reopening almost all of the tabs from last week, which is about 600 tabs that I then go through and get rid of what I don't need. That takes a lot of time, and my internet connection is not that good. which means that I will lose a large part of what I was working on the next time FireFox crashes during a restore session. Is there anything I can do to prevent Firefox from crashing?

Subject says it. Chrome has taken over as my default browser. Need to keep Chrome on my Win7 PC, but want Firefox 115.2.0 to continue as my default browser. Please advise how to get back to Firefox as my default...

With the update to 115.10.0esr my bookmarks that were on the left hand side of the screen are gone. When I look at bookmarks there are a few, but I had multiple folders for different subjects, I do not find. I would like to have the procedure to return my bookmarks back to the left hand side of the screen with all of my bookmarks, bookmark folders, and other bookmarks like it was prior to the update. In the search settings, I have set DuckDuckGo as my default search engine and removed all other engines from the list of options. However, I often notice that Google (which I have removed from the options) has replaced DuckDuckGo as my default search engine and has again been added as an optional search engine, without me knowing. Why is this happening? Is it possible to stop it happening, and if so, how can I stop it happening?
