I'm seeking help because sound is not working on Firefox. All other software are able to produce sound on every speaker and headphones I have. The speaker logo does not appear in tabs were videos or music is playing and firefox doesn't show up in EarTrumpet. It does show in the volume mixer but no bar appears to show it is displaying sound while media is playing.

I'm running : Firefox version 119.0 64 bits Windows 10 64 bits version 22h2, OS build 19045.3570

I've tried :

1. Restarting Firefox
2. Muting/Unmuting Firefox in the volume mixer, in firefox tabs too
3. Downgrading to version 118.02 32 bits
4. Uninstalling all my audio drivers followed by a restart (they got re installed but no change for Firefox)
5. Restarting Firefox with all addons disabled

I'm running out of solutions.

I have never actively marked emails as threads. I've tried to remove the "threads" function in the folder settings, but it doesn't seem to have helped in some cases. There is an email account profile on my Thunderbird email program and I simply cannot get rid of it. I have tried everything including running the program as an administrator and nothing works. None of the instructions to remove an email account anywhere on this forum works. When I go into the account settings, there absolutely no selection for me to remove a particular email account/profile from Thunderbird. I have removed Thunderbird, wiped out all traces and profiles for Thunderbird, reinstalled Thunderbird and this particular account keeps coming back. I bought a new computer, installed Thunderbird on that, and this particular email account suddenly appears on the new installation on a new computer. I can't get rid of it. I brought both computers to a technician and they scanned for viruses, trojans, etc., etc., etc., and there is nothing there, but this email address account keeps coming back on any computer I have installed Thunderbird, including new computers that are new out of the box. Since the big update I cannot read my messages in the message window without scrolling as I read each line. The message window is so small that I can only see about four lines of text at a time. I can't get the messages to open in a new window unless I click on them and choose "open in new window" even after setting them to open in a new window on their own.

The last update fixed the font on everything from being too big in spite of settings so now I can read a little more at a time. It's still very frustrating having to scroll constantly.

up until a few months ago, Thunderbird opened jpg/jpeg images inline, that is in the message window. Instead I get an empty white box where the image SHOULD have displayed. The only option now available appears to open the attached image with PHOTOS which takes longer as Thunderbird has to call photos to load the image. My current work-around to this issue is to drag/drop the attached image to my photo editor which loads rather quickly. Much faster than photos.

Even for my own contact it saves a contact like "lynn@szetosolutions". incomplete email addresses, or associated with DMV...just for my own email it has saved 7 versions and or affiliations. I want to clean up and remove the excess, inaccurate email addresses that keep auto filling my emails and reduce the constant annoyance. Can someone help me? I'm so grateful for any help.
