Failure by filters whose action is to DELETE. As stated in subject. Uncomplicated.

Other filters work (they distribute msgs into specified folders).

Normally when you starting to write a new email, Thunderbird will set the 'from' address to the address of the account whose mailbox you're current browsing.

However, I have a saved search that entirely contains email from my secondary (work) account, but if I start a new email while browsing it, it picks my default (home) email address. This has caused me to accidentally send emails from the wrong address more than once!

Is there any way to change it so that it'll set the 'from' field of new emails to my work email when browsing that specific saved search?

My Thunderbird v. 115.10.1 (32-bit) Been using TB forever w/ GMail accounts Primary E-Mail is missing folders and has duplicate folders, one [Gmail] is inside the Inbox another is outside. Has [Sent] Doesn't appear to contain anything in either Junk and Trash folders. But, they do when I open GMail in my browser. My secondary E-Mail has no [Gmail] folder but does have Sent Mail, All Mail, Junk, Spam, Trash (empty), Trash and 3 that I created. This E-mail seems to function more completely. Is there a "repair install" a file to edit or something else to get me back to 100% operational? Can send folder properties if helpful. Image attached.

I don't want to be able to scroll the page by selecting text. That's what the scroll wheel is for. More often than not this 'feature' just results in frustration as scrolling the page selects more text. Can I just disable this altogether somehow?

I was looking for an item that would be a couple of years back in my history, only to discover that my history now only goes back a year and 3 months… Exactly, as of today, I don't know if that's meaningful. Does anyone have any idea what might've happened, and how I can restore the rest of my history? Thank you!

I'm on a Mac using Mojave, with Firefox version 115.8.

I added the Save to Pocket (mini) extension to Firefox 125.0.2 today. When I look at the collection of articles I've saved to Pocket (I've been using Pocket for years) in the browser, I only see 8 articles. But when I open Pocket on my iPhone and iPad, the list of articles I've saved is much more longer (an estimate would be between 50 and 75 articles saved to Pocket). I haven't found any articles in Mozilla support to help me solve this. Thanks

Version 125.2.0, Android 11 Settings: Firefox is default browser. 'Open links in apps' is set to 'Ask before opening'

Scenario:

• With the Swiss payment app 'Twint' I scan a QR-code for a payment
• This will open the embedded browser to show a payment site (sbs.twint.ch)
• After entering the amount and pressing submit, the flow is supposed to return to the Twint-app. However, here it just blocks and I cannot navigate anywhere or return to the app manually

Workaround:

• When the embedded view shows, in its menu, I can select 'Open in Firefox'
• Entering the amount there and pressing submit, the popup shows, asking me whether 'to open the link in app'. When I confirm, I am redirected back to the app and can confirm the payment there.

I suspect, the webview does not show the popup but wait for it to be confirmed and thus the flow is blocked. I have searched the forum but could not find anything matching. Still, is that a known issue?

Hello, I did look for related posts but found nothing close enough to this so I thought I would create a post. I don't ever recall having this issue before v102 was introduced but now it happens once in a while but not always.

If I am in the inbox of my main mail account and choose to delete a message, it goes away and then reappears almost immediately. There is a box that shows up at the bottom right of the screen that says: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my main mail account is shown) responded: UID MOVE failed. This account is in Canada on the Bell Canada network so perhaps it is an ISP issue?

I have 3 mail accounts set up - all IMAP. If I close TB and reopen it, the message is gone as if it required the program to close in order to complete the delete request.

If anyone has experienced this and has any suggestions or tips, it will be greatly appreciated. - Thanks, Mike

First, I am disabled

When I goto to YT Homepage it will play all the sounds of the downloaded video's when I hover with the mouse.

But I want to hear the sound of that video AFTER I selected that Video or clicked on the title.
