Quite often I find that Thunderbird is very slow to obtain a connection with my Outlook account. I can run my Outlook directly and everything is updated in about 20 seconds and at the same time it may take a couple of minutes up to a few minutes for Thunderbird to complete downloading. Additionally, many times during this lag in connecting, I receive a message that the password is incorrect, which is bogus; all I have to do is select "Retry" and the download process continues. I am using the latest version of Thunderbird "115.10.2 (64-bit)." This problem has been occurring on previous versions as well.

Needed to look through my April history (pages looked at) in the Library. I had APRIL history up, ready to look through it. I tried to delete one page and it DELETED the whole MONTH. How do i get the APRIL history back? APRIL is gone from the list. jumps to March after the last 7 days

I went to RESTORE but this talks about BOOKMARKS It shows for today may 7, 149 items for example then it shows April 29, april 9, april 4 april 1, each with about 150 items but if I were to click on these it says will replace all BOOKMARKS,

When I click on the arrow to acquire any emails from my isp it will often say downloading 3 emails or 5 emails or some number, but only one or two come in. I have to hit the arrow again to get more. Sometimes it will say downloading some number of emails, but NOTHING comes in. I don't remember this happening until about a month ago. Can you help?

I just installed Thunderbird (working elsewhere) on a Windows 11 machine, and used the 'auto setup' feature. Sending/receiving works fine, but for every message sent:

1. A pop-up appears, which reads 'Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message to Local Folders/Sent-mydomain.com

2. The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account mydomain.com responded [TRYCREATE] Folder doesn't exist. (Failure).

Sent messages appear just fine locally in Thunderbird, and also on Gmail, and they send fine as well, so I just need to disable the incorrect error messages. Thanks for any help (NOOB level tech savvy).

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

When I'm sending attachments in Thunderbird some of my clients are recieving the email but not the attachments, though when they look on the phone they can see the attachment ?

What can I change in my outsettings for attachments to solve this issue

Within last 2 to 3 weeks I noticed that when I click Get Messages the momentary line of text at bottom-left typically says "there are no new messages", or the "number of messages" about to be downloaded. (This is not the notification window at lower right.) Recently the number of messages actually received is not always correct. For instance, this morning the message was clearly "downloading messages 3 of 3", but only one appeared as a new, unread message in my inbox. This has occurred several times, sometimes qty is correct, sometimes not. My first question is whether this is a bug in Thunderbird, or something I need to pursue with my email provider? Second question: I am only requesting those for my account, but might the "missing messages" be downloaded for my wife's email?

If missing messages are for my wife how do I fix it so I only download mine? She doesn't have admin rights and I made no changes to our account settings. If missing messages are not hers then I am seriously concerned about this issue.

Hello, I would be grateful for help onm the two following problems in Thunderbird. 1. When someone sends me a web page link, I click on it and get the error message 0x80070057. I have tried the suggested solutions in regedit but it does not work. 2. When I buy something on ebay they send me an email confirmation with a picture of the item purchased. When I go to print it the image disappears.

I am losing what hair that I have left as I am a senior citizen.

My question is this: when visiting websites all Icons appear like in the screenshot: replaced by gray shapes.

Anyone familiar with this? Perhaps a solution? Would a reinstall help. Any suggestion is welcome.

For some time now, I've been experiencing the following issues with PiP:

• The floating window opens in a random (and annoying) place and does not place itself automatically on the lower right corner as it used to (where I always move it, so it has no memory as it used to)
• It's impossible to keep the "always on top" mode on by default, and I have to do it every single time
• When I toggle windows, the PiP window is always the next one, even when it was not the one I switched from, and I have to always toggle twice for switching between two windows when I have a 3rd PiP window
• When I change language using the keyboard shortcut, it changes the language on the PiP window, and I have to use the language icon bar. Then, the PiP window becomes activated, and I have to toggle back to the window I was working on before (on which I wanted to change language). I have the "separate languages for separate windows" option activated.

It's been some months now, and all those things were working before an update but never came back...

Does anyone know if there's a way of fixing these issues? I've tried things I found online but nothing seems to work.

I can't sign into my TracFone account on FireFox or FireFox Private Window. But I "can" sign on in Chrome. Is there someway to fix this as FireFox is my main default browser.

Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?
