I'm using Firefox 93 on Macbook air and Firefox 93.2 on Android 11 (Samsung S10). I’ve synced all passwords and logins and can view them on both devices. ‘Autofill in Firefox’ and ‘Autofill in other apps’ are both on. But, when logging in to apps on the Samsung, autofill doesn’t work. Even if I fill in my email address, there is no password suggestion. Instead, a small dropdown message appears: ‘unlock Firefox’. It isn’t active, and doesn’t open anything when I tap on it. Result: I have to go looking for the passwords and fill them in manually. I hope there’s a solution. Thanks for your help

Ever tried to download a file through firefox and then pause it to resume it after sometime and end up having the rest of the file being downloaded in an instant but upon opening realise the file has been corrupted. I am facing this issue like so frequently it has become like a norm that pausing a downloading file will give a corrupted one for sure. And please note that other browsers don't reproduce the issue infact the links are pause supported in all aspects

I originally was able to create the home page shortcut to Piped with Chrome, but the shortcut launched Chrome, even though Firefox is my default browser?

So I deleted the shortcut. Now, Chrome no longer even offers me the option to "Add to Home Screen" from the Piped page, but it still does for other sites. Within Chrome, It now offers me the option to open the page in Firefox, even if I make Chrome the default browser.

How can I get a shortcut to Piped on my home page that will open in Firefox?

I installed ublock origin. But it doesn't work now, where it used to work. If I click to go to its page, no web is loaded. Re-installing doesn't help. the same situation happends to other ad block add-ons.

Firefox reports Incorrect resolution in mobile and desktop mode

while real screen resolution is QHD firefox in both modes reports 980 x 511 while for mobile mode this can be somewhat OK (but it is 3x from screen resolution)

for desktop mode it is completely incorrect and sites displayed in very wrong way. How to make firefox to report correct screen resolution in desktop mode?

Google Chrome reports incorrect but somewhat usable 1400x900 which is about 1.7x not 3x like firefox seen on dev.jeffersonscher.com/resolution.html

In my dev laptop I installed an SSL cert using mkcert. Works fine in all desktop browsers. They don't even prompt to accept the "risk" and continue. But in my Android phone on the same LAN (with the dev subdomain in dns) I get that prompt from both Chrome and Firefox. That would be acceptable, except Firefox prompts pretty much every time I return focus to the app. It gets annoying having to click two extra buttons (Advanced then Accept Risk and Continue) for every code change that needs to be tested in all browsers.

Is there any way to make Android Firefox permanently accept the cert or any other solution?

the tittle says it all , when i playback anything at more than 1x speed it drops alot frames very unwatchable , but this is on ANDROID not desktop ive literally found nothing when i looked this issue up except for pc . 0 info for android , this happens on both the regular and nightly build and i even tried to do some of the solutions for pc cause nightly has ability to add extensions like h264ify etc... , i tried messing with vp9 settings in about:config and with opengl media and i really tried alot of em lol but nothing works , still very stuttery

After update to 90.1.3 version Firefox can not open web pages. It's shown the error in each page (even in addons page.

I upgraded to Firefox 91 and it broke the rendering on my Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 1050f with Android 5:

– Images are black boxes – Round coursers are tiny black boxes – In portrait mode the menu doesn't open at all – Navigation buttons are missing in the browser bar

To figure out the issue I installed Firefox Nightly 93, which shows the same issues (except navigation buttons). There, I even tried

– gfx.webrender.software.d3d11 = false – layers.acceleration.disabled = true

but it didn't help.

I'd appreciate any hint on how to debug more or on how to fix this. Thanks in advance. Andy

Whenever you update Firefox you're lead to a website that lists the changes. It also says you value feedback and recommendations. Yet I've found no way to give feedback, whether in the Android app, the desktop app nor on mozilla.org. I don't seem to be the only one judging by searching support.mozilla.org. Why don't you guys include a standardized way of giving feedback?

Immediately after updating Firefox on my Android phone today, all my bookmarks disappeared on my phone! To clarify, these were not the same bookmarks as on my computer. I just started my Firefox account via phone a few minutes ago. I need to get my Android phone bookmarks back! Help!

I have followed all the suggestions I can find. It constantly tells me I'm in incognito mode. Is there any other way? Should I delete the app and reinstall? I'm not a newb, been on the internet since 1996 and loaded and used a lot of programs an apps.
