Outlook recently made Edge or Chrome the default browser, with no possibility (as far as I can see) of choosing Firefox. In Outlook FILE/OPTIONS/ADVANCED, it seem impossible to choose Firefox.

How can I make Firefox the default browser. This situation occurred after recent update (October 2023).

Any help would be appreciated. -- JGS

I understand that the "Bookmarks Menu" Icon (see attached pic) can be used and then: 2) "Manage Bookmarks" can be selected (to get to the "Manage Bookmarks" <selection> screen).

But is there a 1-click Icon solution to access "Manage Bookmarks" (other than the keyboard one)? Or is there a link address that would access the "Manage Bookmarks" screen directly?

and a CAPTHA, when I solve the CAPTHA I can use google like normal but when I restard my pc or open a new (private) window I have to do it again and its really anoying to do it every time, can someone help? thanks in advance

Hello, today firefox has been appearing as a blank icon on my taskbar. I have tried solutions suggested in older posts but it did not help unfortunately. if i try to

1- right click unpin from taskbar the icon shows once more. 2- right click, the icon disappears/becomes blank. 3- click pin to taskbar, the icon remains blank.

To identify myself I had to scan a qr code on a website using my phone. This used to work in firefox but it doesn't anymore. It still works in edge. I'm using firefox 119.0.1 x64 on windows 11 home 22H2. How can I fix this?

I am having trouble sending tabs from my phone to my PC. My device is connected to my computer, and I can send tabs from my PC to my phone successfully, but not the other way around. I have no idea what could even be the issue, and I have only seen people asking about sending tabs from PC to Mobile, not the other way around. Is there something I am missing? None of the Firefox troubleshoot pages have helped.

I have been a FF fan for almost 20 years and this is the first time sucn a phenomenon has happened. Inside Manage Cookies and Data my Storage is blank nothing is showing and yet the sites I visited are listed as well as the cookies. I have cleared everything hoping to start over would resolve this. My husband has a separate profile on our desktop computer with Windows 10 We have the same setting and yet he is not experiencing this at all. At the end of a session which is usually 1.5 hours I delete the sites that are taking up storage in the MB numbers but for the last 3 days the sites are listed again as are the cookies but under storage nothing? I have attached a screenshot there is not much there because my husband deleted all data but imagine my surprise after 1.5 hours to see all the web sites i visited listed the cookies too an zero storage? I tried to troubleshoot this but could not find anything about it on the Internet. I sincerely hope you can resolve the issue. And yes I have most recent version of FF Thank you in advance. Hi there, Last night I installed some new hardware into my PC, new motherboard and CPU for example. After that, I booted up the PC, everything worked completely fine and I was able to listen to Youtube / Twitch / Spotify etc. through Firefox.

This morning I boot up the PC, everything still works perfectly and I have audio coming from all other sources EXCEPT for Firefox. I have browsed every forum already but can not find anything that relates to me. I can't set my output device, since Firefox doesn't show up in the volume mixer. The tabs aren't muted. I have restarted Audiosrv and Windows Explorer several times. I have re-installed Firefox twice. I have tried booting it in safemode. All of the above hasn't resulted in a single second of audio. I am at a loss.

4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

Was getting some crash reports....now have a black bar on top of new tabs...it finally scrolls when you are halfway down the page. any help would be appreciated.

Firefox not responding to general websites on the web (Ex: Amazon.com, etc.). I have several Mozilla-recommended security extensions that may be working against my firefox connecting to these general-in-nature websites.

I'm a Reddit user and until today I used to login just fine. Now I get the error message "Incorrect username or password" when I try to login in Mozilla Firefox (version 119.0.1 (64-bit)). If I use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge I log in with no problem.

Feature "Reopen previous tabs" are under check, but after closing browser by "X" and reopening it, it'll start load Home page alone. This thing works correctly only by "Exit" button in pop-up menu.

This isn't happened on previous versions before and I want you to make it reopen those tabs again, because I don't feel comfortable closing the browser any other way than "X" window button.

I've created 22 themes and in all of them the drop down menus such as "downloads", "history", "extensions", and "application menu", all became white instead of dark like they used to be. I really don't want to go through the process of fixing and reuploading them, I'd apprecate you looking into this and hopefully fixing it with a simple update. Please fix this problem, thank you!

When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.

I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.

Hello,

I have a spreadsheet with links. I need to open multiple links in the order they are in the spreadsheet.

When I select multiple links and click "option+return", the links open in the opposite order.

I would expect the first link to the on the left and the second link to be on the right.

Is there anything I can do to make this happen?
