I have not been about to open new tabs for a while I guess this is due to upgrade I never realized this until I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook. Is anything that can be done or are we just out of luck now when using Firefox also what happen to the search bar is that gone forever as well. I really liked firefoxbut looks like have to find omitting else that wil work for my needs. Finally, is the menu bar gone as well. Please advise and answer all questions ty

put the + back for new tabs. I hate hate hate hate that I have to go all the way over to the 3 lines for a drop down menu for new tabs. it's such an easy fix to put the plus sign back. why do you make simple features SO DIFFICULT

I have a plenty of tabs accumulated in my FF on Android, v119.1.1 (Build #2015984795), 2a75e15258+ GV: 119.0.2-20231108221453 AS: 119.0.

Within Tabs menu there is Share all tabs option. When clicked, the Save as PDF, Print, and typical android sharing options are presented.

Click on Save as PDF does nothing. Sharing to other apps works partially (text list is shared, but some parts of it are not kinks but a concatenated text of tabs titles combined together, not clickable, not https:// part).

The phone has lots of tabs, many of which are deactivated.

I want to backup them and review on bigger screen, but can't do that :)

Sharing to other devices connected via Mozilla account shares only subset of tabs, not sure about the logic, the most recent ones for sure + some deactivated but not all of them.

I have probably over 1000 tabs on my Android that I wanted to start to bookmark in my desktop. I find that most of them are inactive now, which I appreciate the intent, but I never asked for. Now when I have time to deal with them, I have tried multiple ways to bring them to my computer or bookmark them from my phone, but nothing seems to work. It doesn't seem like there is much of anything that you can do with inactive tabs even if you share them to your desktop.

It is my understanding from trying to research this, that the Collections you create on your phone are not synced to my Firefox account so that doesn't seem helpful. Is there an extension that could solve this for me? It doesn't work to try to bookmark them from my phone because they don't show up in my desktop bookmark folder that I assigned.

The thing that has worked best so far is to Share my tabs to a temporary folder [Phone Inactive Tabs] on my desktop then search (for example: recipe) then open some in tabs and bookmark them. However, after I have categorized them into the proper bookmark folder (Food/Recipes), they disappear from that folder when I try to delete them from my temporary folder. It does the same thing if I save tabs into OneTab first.

Can someone please help me so that I don't lose years of things that I really want to keep? I would appreciate it! It would be helpful if I could even share all my inactive tabs (or even URLs) into a folder on my desktop so that I could search and bookmark them at a later time without it deleting all that work. This has been happening with increasing frequency for months, most recently twice this week; overnight, all my tabs on firefox mobile for ios will disappear. They aren't in the 'recently closed', I have triple-checked that I turned the inactive tabs setting OFF (and they aren't there), I just wake up and all my tabs are gone. Unlike others whose tabs vanish, it doesn't seem to be related to the app updating, it just happens randomly with no warning. Firefox is the best web browser for me, but this is making me consider switching back to safari for mobile because I cannot stand this. I really want to continue being able to use firefox for mobile. Please, can anyone help me figure out where my tabs are going and why?

I had disabled the sync feature weeks ago, but when I opened Firefox just now, it had 1) synced with my MacBook 2) lost every open tab on my iPhone

Please please someone respond to this. Why is there no solution offered in this forum? Clearly a number of people have had the same problem.

I was browsing through Firefox and as usual I had more than 30 tabs open. I have set them to never close and move old tabs to inactive ones. I was watching a video in a tab and closed Firefox then open another app in cellphone and then after some hours I reopen Firefox and there was only 1 tab (wordreference.com) What happened to the other 30 tabs? They're nowhere. I looked for support and there are many threads and videos for the desktop version but almos inexistent for Firefox Android version. There must be an explanation for this issue and perhaps a solution or workaround. Thank you.

I have Firefox sync set up for my desktop and Android. For the past moth or so Firefox on Android can't send tabs to my desktop as it says "No devices connected". Despite this I can send tabs from my desktop to the Android install.

I am using the latest ESR on Windows, and have used both the latest main release and beta versions of Firefox. This issue has been ongoing for several versions. Full uninstall and removal of local files for both devices has not helped, neither has signing in an out. It seems that the Android side simply cannot see there's other devices period.

Hello! I’m a bit concerned because firefox has been functioning perfectly fine up to last week, when it started not crashing, but losing the opened sessions. I had many tabs that I would go back to after closing firefox. And then suddenly, when I opened it, there were no tabs at all. This happened again yesterday. And today again. I cannot find the option “restore previous session” like on the computer, so I go to history and manually restore the lost tabs, and of course it isn’t possible to remember everything, so lots are being lost. Hello, This is the second time all open tabs were closed after a update. What the hell! In the past there were never that kind of problem. You don't know how much work that is for to reopen all tabs again. Why does that happen?

Hello, Firefox for Android has become completely unusable because the tab keep reloading every single time i move away from it.

This seems like a HUGE problem for a web browser??

As of this evening, Firefox for Android no longer opens links from webpages. This was working just fine yesterday, but any attempt to solve the issue has resulted in failure.

• I can still open links manually by copy-pasting them into a new tab.
• I have tried disabling all add-ons, to no effect.
• I discovered this through my regular browsing, but I have also tested a random Google search page, as well as various links in Mozilla Support.
• Javascript appears to be unaffected.

Current version is Firefox for Android 106.1.0.

Im using firefox since 2012 it was great until a couple month ago. The bug is when im browsing website like a payment page, when i switching between the apps and return to payment page, the firefox will refreshing the page automatically without asking any permission and payment will get fail error. This is awful

I have an Iphone 11 Pro with iOS version 16.5.1, and I have been having some problems with the Firefox app. I have a number of tabs on my browser, with some of them being very old. I was trying to clear some of them up and I noticed that a good portion of them will not load. Even though I can see their titles in the tab, when I select them, only a blank white page loads up, not even with a URL bar, so I am unable to reload the site. When I try to tap on the tab for longer than a few seconds to bring up additional options, the whole app crashes.

What can be done about this?

Lastest update added the "pull to refresh" gesture but i dont like that. Please add a option to disable it. Also, I close a tab and exit the program, when I reopen firefox, the tab comes back. Finally, it is not good for the Firefox account mail address to appear in the Firefox menu, it would be better to write "Firefox Account" instead of mail. (Sorry for my poor english, I used some translation.)

Since the most recent update, Firefox now does not close the private tabs on app closure as it should even though the button to say delete this is actually active.

Also, when listening to music through Soundcloud or Bandcamp or YouTube, even after the tab with the music is closed, the music continues to play. This has all started today and is highly frustrating. As is trying to find this feedback page! 45 minutes into trying to “get help” I finally found somewhere to write this problem out. (Though I doubt Mozilla are interested in fixing the issue, judging by the complete lack of customer support and their labyrinthine Help section which I have to say is NOT in any way helpful, just needlessly stressful).

On an Android phone you can go to open tabs and close all open apps tabs, etc. On my Android phone I am able to open the folder, empty all open apps and tabs, except for Firefox. Which was my default browser for the past 20yrs. When I open the folder and close everything, Firefox tabs remain with a large lock in the lower right hand corner. Anyone know what's going on?
